I not only used it as the theme, Donovan quotes or paraphrases the song throughout my RP. Hoping somebody noticed lol.
You write roleplays?
Crazy talk. Stop it.

Well I’ve huered inconsequential shit enough I guess. Now to actual feedback...
Horizons is always a tough event, because we are at the end of a long year, and the holidays are nearing. From an event writer standpoint, I credit the other mods for keeping me motivated, because when I sat down to write my match, I would have preferred it be something like this:
“They fuck around a bit, Hastings takes the eyes and then taunts. Zane back with a huge move, ZOMG it’s over.”
Seriously. But thanks to Steve, Ad, and B (specifically Steve and Ad since it was their match I was writing), I knew it deserved more than that. And while maybe I didn’t give it much more, I hope they enjoyed it nonetheless.
You guys (the roster) have kicked ass all year long, and I hope we were able to put out a show that was able to showcase how appreciative we are of the effort you guys have put into your characters. And if we were unable to do that, please let us know what we can do to be better at that. Because at the end of the day, showcasing you guys to the best of our ability is really what we are here to do.
Now, onto those that are leaving us... I really can’t say anything that will be as eloquent as what Steve added... and though I typically would not want to single anyone out, I am going to. And I hope Barbie, Mike, and Cory understand it isn’t meant as a slight to them at all. Because they are all great writers, and the fed will be very, very different without them. With that said...
Britt leaving hits me the hardest. It’s no secret to those that know me that I have known her longer than the others. What some of you might not know is that I’ve been friends with her hubby (Killian - Danny) for 20 years. The two of them are the only reason that Chaos - and because of that, Vain - ever came to UGWC. They are the only reason why I came back to efedding at all. They were the ones that helped me assimilate into the fed, helped me through the various blocks that I had when I just couldn’t figure out wtf I was doing back in this game, and they were the two that ultimately helped me find my way, which led to having the fun that I have had. It hit me hard when Danny left, but I understood the reasoning behind it. And though I understand the reasoning behind this, too, Britt’s departure hits just as hard, because just as Chaos views Cypress and Jez (and Eden) as family... that is how Chad views Danny and Britt. And to know that the game they brought me back into... that I’ll now be going at it without both of them? It leaves a void for me personally that likely won’t be filled, and though it is understandable, it sucks all the same.

That time of year again. I swear, at times this year was at a crawl and then the closer it got to Horizons it just seemed to go so fast, or maybe that’s just me. Either way, fantastic show as always. Horizons is a big event every year and this year was no different. Thank you to the match writers, you guys did an amazing job with the roster, and congratulations to the winners.
This year is special for me because, as pretty much everyone is aware after RP’s and the show, it is the last Horizons, last anything for Eden. I won’t lie and say it was an easy thing to do, because it wasn’t. I’ve had quite a few characters and none of them really meant as much to me as she did and still does. But she did things her way, and I’m good with that.
I started back writing and created Eden in 2013. Looking back at her then, she seems so different from the woman she eventually became, and that’s partially thanks to everyone I’ve had the opportunity to work with here. Every feud, every storyline we build leaves something behind with these characters, or it should, in my opinion. We’re creating people, and people are a product of the circumstances of their lives.
It’s a wonder, really, that Eden made it this far, considering the things she’s been through, had done to her, or done herself, but she did have a fair few watching over her. I can’t imagine Eden Morgan coming from anywhere but UGWC and the people and minds here. You guys helped me create her, build her, and ultimately destroy her on her terms, and there’s no way I can thank you enough for that.
Thank you, Steve, for not completely losing your shit on me for all the times I was a pain in the ass or I caused headaches. I imagine you likely have PTSD from that gif I always send you where the girl is throwing a highlighter at the guy to get his attention when I have a new idea or a question. Sometimes that would happen several times a day and you were (usually) pretty patient with me. I do have to make that flow chart, heh. I’m so glad I’ve gotten to know you, enjoy your humor, and call you a friend. Oh... and thank you for all the stips and knowing me well enough to challenge me when I needed it and to realize you had to deal with my hissy fits to get the good stuff (How many times did I tell you I hated you? I think you actually looked forward to it, lol).
Thank you, b, for all the countless storylines. Between Jet and Ichabod, your characters have had a lot of influence on Eden these past years, not to mention my other characters. Thank you for never really giving up on me when you were trying to get me back and being my biggest support when I wasn’t sure I could even do it anymore. You’ve been an amazing friend over the years, and I don’t know what I’d do without you in my life. I know people saw the bit with our RP’s involving the butterfly shoes and maybe thought it was filler. It wasn’t. It was the last time Jet would play a prank like that on Eden, and it was the last time the two of us would have a joke like that in an RP. From Jet Somers is Shit to holographic butterfly shoes, I’ve enjoyed them all. Thank you for being the one to end my favorite character. There was no other way for her to end.
Thank you, Chad, for being the first to welcome me into this game 12, almost 13 years ago. You are quite possibly one of the most helpful and friendly guys I’ve ever known, truly a great one and a wonderful friend over the years. Thank you for listening to me bitch and being petty with me. Thank you for jumping back into this after so many years away just because you wanted to have fun with Danny and I. You’re always up for a storyline or a segment or whatever, just genuinely interested in any ideas or angles I came to you with, even when we both know some of them were absolutely insane and off the wall (the dogs from the Super Bowl commercial that Jez and Xandy adopted? Lol).
Thank you, Ad, for always being a calming and levelheaded presence because, as we know, I am frequently not that, heh. I can honestly say, if it weren’t for Zane, Colin, and Spyder Eden would not have been the character she was. That first feud with Zane and then the mentoring with Colin and Spyder helped mold her into what and who she became. So everyone who has called her a bitch and complained about her over the years- see Ad.
Thank you, Rob, for being my OG cheerleader and my Wavelength, and for being the (sometimes irritating) dose of realism I need when I’m being utterly ridiculous (which is absolutely hardly ever. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it). I’ll always regret that we never really got to collaborate as we frequently talked about, though I do have you to thank for planting the seed of Cynric in my head.
Thank you, Cory (excuse me, Armless Wonder; I realize you may be confused if I actually use your name) for coming back into this game when you did and helping to reignite my imagination. Between you and Chad (as well as B and Mike) you helped me to take a character who was an NPC who managed to get under the skin of many to a believable part of the roster with feuds and backstories and way more tragedy than any man should deal with. Thank you for helping me mold Jase and for letting him accompany Rogan into worlds other than this one. Maybe we’ll meet them again in one of them some day.
I’m doing these two together, mostly because I can’t imagine one without the other. Thank you to Barbie and to Chuck for all you’ve done joining in telling stories with me and cheering me on when I wasn’t sure what I’d done was even remotely right or above a grade school level. We really are our biggest critics. Barbie, this year started off with Lucy in a group with Rogan and Jase and it progressed into something no one ever expected to see- Lucy and Eden coming to terms with each other. Their banter took on a whole new tone, and that’s in part because of how close we’ve become OOC and in part because I truly do believe had circumstances been different, Eden and Lucy would have been great friends and a force to be reckoned with. Thank you for that feud at Battleground, and the entire build to it over two years, and thank you for being a friend.
"After everything Gabriel's done to Eden? No way... She'll never trust him."
Bahahahahahahahahahahaha! I won.
You’re a cunt
Now then. If there’s one thing that UGWC has given me, it’s new friendships and a strengthening of the ones I’d had already. Even though we were in PPW together, UGWC is the place where we became friends, and more than that, best friends. Throughout our time here, you’re one of the ones I’ve most enjoyed working with and love to bounce ideas off of, partly because you’re generally down for anything and if my idea is too off the wall, you call me on it— and then figure out a way to make it work. You are without a doubt one of the best when it comes to little details and taking a complex idea and breaking it down into something seamless that really works.
We work well together and you manage to calm me down when I need it and call me on my shit when I need that too. I’m glad we were able to craft this story together, along with everyone else who joined in with us. It was a wild ride, but I can’t imagine doing it with anyone else. Thank you for the journey and telling this story with me, and thank you for allowing Eden to have a place in Gabriel’s world.
I’m going to miss these two.
As a whole, thank you to everyone who has been a part of UGWC during my time here. It’s been a pleasure and a privilege writing with some of the most talented on the e-fed front. You’ve all made me into a better writer.
I’ll still be around behind the scenes and doing graphics for the PPV’s, watching over everything like the Force ghosts do.
Rob’s Yoda. He says he’s Jar-Jar, but he’s Yoda. Don’t let him tell you otherwise.
Thank you all, and Merry Christmas!

It's a highlighter? FFS, I've been trying to search "girl throws paper gif" for a fucking year now.
So everyone who has called her a bitch and complained about her over the years- see Ad.
Guilty as charged.

Thank you, Britt. That means a lot. I hope you return sooner rather than later, but if not, you've helped me create a fun character in Zane, even if he's not the favorite character of anyone I've RP with for years (as far as I know). Every character I have has one defining feud. Colin had Spyder and Dirge had Katharsis.
