Earlier earlier tonight, the new Cooperative Champions have a team meeting.
Last week we saw Kenzi’s internal conflict continue as she not only attacked the team of Wrestley McWrestleface and Holden Orson at the opening of the show, but also went for the ringpost figure-four on fellow #CoolKid Angelica Vaughn. It seemed as if the only thing that stopped her was the disapproval of the fans. Will she embrace her anger, will she resist the urge, or will the fans act as her arbitrary conscience again? We’re going to find out now as she faces one of the men that she attacked last week, Wrestley McWrestleface, as well as the “Icon of Entertainment” Travis Pierce in this week’s opener.
“The Icon of Entertainment” enters first, flanked by “Piercing Weapons” partner “The Living Weapon” Jet Somers. The fans respond to their appearance with deafening cheers, which Pierce responds to by soaking it in as if they’re all for him. Somers takes it in stride and walks down to ringside a few steps behind him. Pierce enters the ring while Jet walks around it to his corner. Once Hazel finishes her checks, Pierce goes to his corner and chats with Jet as he awaits his opponents.
Wrestley enters next with an extremely disinterested looking Holden Orson in tow. He performs his normal entrance, enjoying the adoration of the fans and playing to them as Holden walks along behind him, ignoring the whole situation except for the occasional eye roll and audible scoff. Wrestley gets to the ring and vaults up into it as Holden briefly looks at Jet, although it’s impossible to know what he’s thinking before he settles in Wrestley’s corner. Hazel checks him and it’s time for Kenzi to join us.
Kenzi enters with Donovan, although she doesn’t look the slightest bit happy about it. She holds her half of the Co-Operative Championships overhead and reacts with surprise and no small degree of anger when she’s barraged with as many boos as cheers. She drops the championship onto her shoulder and starts to walk down the ramp when she stops as a loud cheer erupts. She turns to see Hastings hold his half of the Co-Op Championships. She glares at him and gets a trademark Hastings smile in return before he drops his half over his shoulder and begins walking behind her. Until he spots Jet. He stops and stares at “The Living Weapon”, who is too busy talking to Pierce to notice him. Kenzi reaches and enters the ring before Hastings snaps himself out of his mini-trance and walks down the rest of the way to her corner. Hazel checks her as well and calls for the bell.
Kenzi and Pierce immediately go after Wrestley and drive him back into his own corner with a withering barrage of rights and lefts that become an assault of stomps that leave him a crumpled heap. They run out of the corner, where Kenzi puts her hand out and Travis grabs it and whips her into the corner, where she slams into Wrestley with a sliding clothesline before she rolls back and kips up. Wrestley gets to relief from the assault as Pierce comes flying into the corner and drills both of his feet into the face of the Mexican Sensation with a corner dropkick. The two grab Wrestley and haul his limp body up, then hoist him into a double suplex before they drop him back to the canvas again. Kenzi drops for the coverb but only gets a “one” before Pierce pulls her off.
Kenzi gets to her feet and yells at Pierce, who smirks in response before he suddenly kicks her in the stomach, hoists her up and drops her drops her across his knee with a double underhook backbreaker. She falls arches her back in agony as Pierce quickly jumps onto Wrestley for the pin. He took only gets a one count before his masked opponent kicks out. Pierce yanks him up in disgust and plants him with a quick DDT, then lifts him back up for what looks like a suplex before he turns and slams Wrestley down onto Kenzi. He puts his foot on Wrestley’s back for the pin and gets a two count before Kenzi kicks out from under Wrestley. Pierce staggers back as Wrestley rolls away, but quickly turns on Kenzk as she crawls to her feet.
He lifts her up and whips her into the ropes and uses her momentum to connect with a slightly awkward looking snap suplex that he holds onto and rolls into another backbreaker. He leaps to his feet and up onto the turnbuckle, then comes flying off for “The Piercing Blow”. Wrestley comes flying out of nowhere and turns “The Piercing Blow” into a modified version of “Inside Out” that absolutely obliterates Pierce. He rolls him over for the pin when he’s suddenly yanked up and thrown from the ring by Kenzi. She drops for the cover but only gets a two point seven when Wrestley suddenly and literally falls on her from the sky after he’s tossed back into the ring by his Lord of Trios “partner”. Wrestley rolls off as Kenzi gets to her feet and barks at Holden, who replies with a loud scoff and a dismissive hand gesture. Donovan yells to her to keep her focus, which draws a glare from her but causes her to forget about yelling at Holden.
Kenzi pulls Pierce up whips him to the far ropes. She connects with a reverse elbow and follows it with a standing moonsault and a knee drop to his face. Pierce recoils back into the corner and immediately eats a basement dropkick for his effort. He slumps out onto the mat and Kenzi uses it to connect with a rolling necksnap and a sliding clothesline, then a springboard moonsault. She goes for the pin but Pierce kicks out at two. She glares at Hazel and gestures that the count was slow as Donovan yells at Hazel from ringside before he yells to Kenzi to stay on Pierce. She glares at him and yells something unintelligible back, but turns back to Pierce and promptly eats “The Piercing Blow” for her efforts. Pierce collapses on her but only gets a two before Wrestley breaks it up with a Swanton Bomb.
Wrestley pulls Pierce up and leaps up and over him, then hooks his head and drops him with a sitout inverted DDT. He pops up and executes a springboard splash, a standing senton and then leaps up to the turnbuckle and comes off with a top rope dropkick that sends Pierce into the opposite corner. Wrestley keeps the pressure on and crashes into him with a cannonball, then kips up, grabs both side of the top rope and drills him in the face with a double knee strike. Pierce staggers to his feet, steps out into center ring and collapses to the mat. Wrestley leaps up to the top and flies off. He connects with a double stomp from the top, but is promptly blasted with a “One Hit Wonder” by Kenzi that sends him sprawling into the corner.
Kenzi pulls Pierce up and immediately connects with “The Blockbuster”. Hazel drops for the count but is distracted by Jet as he gets up onto the apron. The distraction serves its purpose as it distracts both Kenzi and Hazel, which allows Wrestley to roll her up from behind. She quickly kicks out and as soon as Wrestley is back to his feet, she blasts him with a low blow. Donovan tosses a chair to her over the top rope and she promptly uses it on both Wrestley and Pierce. Unfortunately for her, the impact of the shot sends Wrestley from the ring to the floor. Even more unfortunately for Holden, Wrestley lands on him and sends them both down in a tangle onto the floor. Kenzi smiles gleefully and drops the chair to the mat, then drives Pierce’s face into it with “The Breakdown” before she kicks it from the ring, where Donovan quickly tosses it underneath. Hazel finally gets Jet off of the apron, although he’s beside himself with ire at Kenzi’s actions. Hazel turns just in time to see Kenzi pull Pierce from the mat and slam him onto his face with “The Breakdown”. One quick and academic three count later, Kenzi picks up another win.
She stands up and lets Hazel raise her hand for a moment before she turns to launch another attack on Travis. She’s cut short by a thunderous cheer as Jet slides into the ring and runs her off. She retreats back up the ramp with Donovan next to her. She smiles like the cat that just ate the canary and raises her half of the Co-Op Championships overhead as Jet glares at Hastings from the ring.

Backstage, Ichabod breaks some hard news to 'The Vain One'.
Team RoxAng makes their entrance for this match, with the crowd going crazy for the World Champion, Angelina Vaughn. Their opponents then make their separate entrances, both Zane and Le Bord eyeballing the woman that holds what both will attempt to take at Lord of Trios.
I wonder if the two of them sent Roxy a care package to serve as a thank you for sitting that match out? If not, they should have.
The bell rings, and Vaughn and Zane start things out. Collar-and-elbow tieup, and Zane immediately forces Angie into a neutral corner. Burke begins the mandatory five-count, and Zane releases the lockup at two, and takes a few steps back to allow Vaughn to get out of the corner. Another lockup, with Vaughn applying a side headlock. Zane shrugs her off and sends her to the ropes. Vaughn returns but is run over with a shoulder block. Zane attempts an elbow drop, but Angie rolls out of the way and quickly gets back to her feet. Zane dodges a savate kick attempt, and applies an arm ringer. Quickly shoots Vaughn to the ropes and attempts a hip toss, but Angie winds up landing on her feet. Short-armed lariat attempt from Zane that Angie ducks, and she connects with a kick to his midsection as he turns around, before sending him to the mat with a swinging neckbreaker. Angie connects with a leg drop and then makes the cover, but Zane kicks out at one.
Both entertainment professionals get back to their feet, but Zane is sent against the ropes by a standing dropkick that caught him directly on the chin. Shaking it off, he makes his way back towards the center of the ring, but Vaughn has springboarded off the middle rope and is going for a headscissors takedown. Zane shifts his weight and uses his strength to halt her momentum, and then simply flings her into the corner, her shoulders and neck crashing against the top turnbuckle. Running avalanche engulfs Vaughn in the corner, and then Zane hoists her up onto his shoulder and connects with a running powerslam. He makes the cover, but Vaughn kicks out at two.
Zane pulls Angie to her feet and shoots her to the ropes, connecting with a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker as she returns. Pulling her off of his knee, he hoists her up into the air and slams her to the mat with a spinebuster. Zane appears to be going for Salt the Earth, but Le Bord reaches out and tags herself into the mat, and Zane shoots her a look of disbelief.
Bordy mounts the World Champ and begins raining down rights and lefts, as Angie does her best to cover up. Ripping Vaughn to her feet, Le Bord applies a bearhug and then connects with multiple headbutts. Taking a moment to scream at her opponent gives Angie a slight opening though, and she takes advantage of it. She stomps on the foot of Le Bord, before connecting with a headbutt of her own that stuns the reigning Chaos Champion, and then she grabs the hair of Le Bord and drops to the mat, executing a jawbreaker. Both women trying to shake off the effects of that rapid succession of offense, and Le Bord grabs Vaughn in an attempt to pull her to her feet. Vaughn winds up rolling Bordy up in a small package and almost gets a surprise three-count, but Le Bord is able to get her shoulder up at two-and-a-half.
Both women get back to their feet, and the incensed ‘Queen of Red’ turns Angelica inside-out with a clothesline. She takes a moment to taunt the booing crowd, before running over towards the corner of Team RoxAng and connecting with a clubbing blow that sends Roxy off the apron and out to the floor. She turns back towards Vaughn who has since gotten back to her feet, and Angie connects with a running enziguri that catches Le Bord just behind the ear, the momentum of the kick sending her through the ropes and to the floor outside. Angie attempts to step through the ropes, but Glenn Burke is there to put a stop to it, telling her to keep it in the ring while he makes his count. What he doesn’t see is Roxy Cotton attack Le Bord on the outside, flinging her first into the ring steps, before bouncing her head off of the steel ring post. She then drags Bordy to her feet and shoves her into the ring, as Angie makes her way over to tell her that wasn’t cool.
Realizing that Angie isn’t going to take advantage of the shortcut, Roxy tags herself into the match. She takes off across the ring and bounces off the far ropes, making her way back and connecting with a shining wizard. She makes the cover, but Burke refuses the count, as Bordy’s leg is under the bottom rope. Cotton drags Bordy to her feet and then snaps her over with a hair mare, before hauling off and kicking her in the middle of her back. Quickly back to her feet she runs the ropes and connects with a leg lariat, and then goes for the pin, but only gets a two-count. Roxy pulls Bordy back to her feet again, and immediately sends her back to the mat with a Muff Diver. Dragging Le Bord to the corner, Roxy backpedals to the adjacent corner. Smiling she takes off running for a Kitty Buster, but Le Bord manages to move just in time, and Roxy catches nothing but turnbuckle.
Le Bord grabs the hair of Roxy and begins unceremoniously dragging her around the ring. A swift kick to the stomach causes Roxy to go into the fetal position, and another kick to the back sends her over onto her stomach. Bordy then jumps up onto the back of Cotton and proceeds to run and stomp in various intervals. Le Bord then jumps into the air and drives her knee into the small of Roxy’s back, before grabbing her by the hair with her right hand and her face with the left hand, and rearing back as far as she can. She uses all of Burke’s mandatory five-count before releasing the hold. She pulls Roxy back to her feet and connects with a decent brainbuster, but Zane tags himself into the match by slapping Bordy on the shoulder before she can follow up on things.
Zane pulls Roxy to her feet and lands a clubbing blow to her back that doubles her over. He lifts her up and connects with a Splatter Effect. Burke counts the pinfall, but Vaughn is in to break it up at two-and-three-quarters. Zane chuckles as Vaughn exits the ring, before pulling Roxy back to her feet. He lifts her high into the air with a vertical suplex and holds her there, but Roxy begins driving her knee into his head, face, and nose After repeated knee shots, Zane loses his handle on her and she lands on her feet in front of him. A kick to the stomach is followed up by a DDT that isn’t of the Double-D variety, and both she and Zane are on their backs in the center of the ring.
Roxy begins making her way to her corner, and Zane does the same. Roxy makes the tag just as Zane looks up at Bordy, but ‘The Red Queen’ hops down from the apron and smiles at him. Vaughn connects with a superkick to the side of Zane’s face that sends him down onto his hands and knees, and one #Vaughnemous later, this one is in the books.
Winners: Angelica Vaughn and Roxy Cotton

Deimos powders out immediately as the match begins, Raab takes offense and demands that Deimos come back into the ring, Rydell gives no fucks and just spins Raab around into right hands. He backs Raab into the ropes and goes to send him across the ring, but Raab reverses it and takes Rydell down on the return with a Lou Thesz press. Raab picks Rydell up in a waistlock, wants a German, but Rydell throws back an elbow and knocks him loose. Rydell looking for the Virus of Life, but Deimos slides back into the ring and delivers a chop block to his knee.
Deimos off the ropes and delivers a running dropkick to Rydell, knocking him into a corner as he clutches his knee. Raab charges at Deimos, but Deimos drops his shoulder and backdrops Raab over the ropes to ringside. The champion turns his attention back to Rydell, who is using the ropes to pull himself up. Deimos charges but runs into a boot to the face. Deimos stumbles away and Rydell charges, but Deimos catches him in a powerslam and hooks the leg, but Rydell kicks out right away. Snap suplex but Deimos, floats over into another cover, Rydell kicks out again at two.
Deimos starts to pull Rydell back to his feet, but Rydell delivers several shots to the ribs. Rydell off the ropes, but runs directly into a high knee. Deimos stomps on the back of Rydell, and puts him into Millennial Decay! Rydell struggles in the hold, with the ropes entirely out of reach. He flails, but Raab comes back into the ring and clobbers Deimos, breaking the hold. Double arm German suplex to Deimos, and the Iceman turns his attention to Rydell and delivers an armtrap chickenwing German suplex to him as well. Deimos stumbling back to his feet, Raab handsprings into the Ice Storm! Rabb covers, could be a new champion, but Rydell breaks it up.
Rydell brings Deimos to the corner and puts him on the turnbuckle. Rydell starts to climb the turnbuckle himself, but Raab steps behind him and lifts Rydell off on his shoulders. Deimos stands and leaps off the turnbuckle, spearing Rydell off of Raab’s shoulders and to the mat. Deimos goes for a cover, but Raab rips him up into a release German suplex. Deimos uses the ropes to pull himself up in the corner, Raab charges in but runs into a reverse elbow. Raab stumbles away, and Deimos lifts him into the Numbing!
