Welcome to GlobalTrollz LIVE Synergy Coverage for April 15th, 2019!
Championship Roll Call:
World Heavyweight Champion: Angelica Vaughn
Cross-Hemisphere Champion: Dave Rydell
Cooperative Champions: Donovan Hastings and Kenzi Grey
Chaos Champion: Le Bord de Dieu
The countdown to Seven Deadly Sins continues, as last week we learned that Kenzi Grey is set to challenge Angelica Vaughn for the World Championship, with Roxy Cotton continuing to wait in the wings. Roxy has yet to announce her own match for Seven Deadly Sins, and has the right to do so from the Lord of Trios tournament victory. Will she make her choice tonight?
Meanwhile, Konrad Raab has demanded a match with Donovan Hastings, who has declined singles competition in favor of focusing on his cooperative partnership with Kenzi Grey. After Hastings took out Vain to eliminate him as a potential partner, the Natural Born Killer stepped up to take his place, and the Cooperative Champions will defend against Raab and NBK in the main event tonight.

Roxy powders out right away, content to let Hide and Zane go at it, and go at it they do, exchanging blows back and forth, but Zane overpowers the Deathwish and clotheslines him out. Zane drops to the outside to go after him, but Roxy comes around the side of the ring behind him and leaps onto his back, putting him into a choke hold. Zane flails his arms for a moment before snapmaring her off him, and before he can react Hide immediately grabs him and hurls him into the barricade. A spinning back fist knocks Roxy down, and now Hide grabs Zane and sends him back into the ring. Hide rolls in, but Zane springs to his feet and lifts him into Piercing Misery, covers for a two count.
Zane starts to pull Hide back up, but Roxy is in the ring and connects with a spinning heel kick. A backflip dropkick knocks Hide into the corner, and Zane is knocked down with a hip attack. Roxy handsprings into an elbow onto Hide in the corner, and she backs off as he stumbles out, and she plants him with a rocker dropper. Roxy covers, Zane goes to break it up, but Roxy moves out of the way and Zane drops an elbow on Hide. Roxy cradles Zane into a pin for a two count, and as both pop back to their feet Zane clobbers her with a two-handed sledge strike to the face.
Hide delivers a chop block to Zane. He attempts a gutwrench, but Zane breaks free and shoves him away. Zane goes to deliver a kick, but Hide catches the leg and hits the Wheel of Fortune. Johnny Bonecrusher passes Hide his chain through the ropes, and Hide drags the chain towards Roxy, only for Zane to grab the other end of the chain and pull him back.
Hide and Zane engage in a tug of war over the chain as Covert Jay reminds us that the downed Roxy is the true Tug of War Champion. Hide and Zane continue to struggle, each pulling back as hard as they can on the chain, and Roxy gets to her feet and kicks Hide in the gut. It causes him to release his end of the chain, which immediately snaps back and catches Zane in the face as his own momentum sends him tumbling through the ropes.
It looks like the chain may have caught Roxy as well, she hesitates a moment before attempting the Double-D DT, but Hide counters into the Devil, and that gets the three.
Winner: Hide Yamazaki
Time: 8:36
A dazed Zane Scott gets to his feet on the outside, and he is bleeding from the forehead where it appears the chain struck him. He glares into the ring at Hide as the latter celebrates his victory.
Holden and Angie start the match, Holden opens with a series of Lobakkatao close range strikes that catches Angie off guard. It knocks her back into the ropes, and Holden goes for Black, but Angie hooks the ropes with her arms to stop her momentum and Holden whiffs. Angie schoolgirls him into a pin for a two count, and as both pop back to their feet she knocks him down with a roundhouse kick. Angie sends Holden into the Angell team corner, and she follows behind with a cannonball before making the tag to Rydell.
Rydell and Vaughn make a series of rapid tags, working over Holden and keeping him isolated from his partner, putting on full display their strong teamwork in spite of having lost the Co-Op titles. After several minutes, Angie makes a tag to Rydell before catching Holden with a bicycle kick, and he staggers right into the Tip of the Spear from the entering Rydell. Rydell covers, but Deimos breaks it up at two.
Rydell brawls with Deimos in the ring, but Deimos manages to fight him back into the ropes and clothesline him to the outside. Angie rushes into the ring to her partner’s aid, but Deimos sidesteps her and tosses her through the ropes out to Rydell. Deimos climbs the turnbuckle, and leaps into the air and connects with the Meteor Press on both members of Angell at ringside, as commentary is astonished at the high risk maneuver from the typically cautious Phrixus Deimos.
Deimos gets back to his feet and shoves Rydell back into the ring, where Holden rolls over and covers him, only for Rydell to get his shoulder up at two. Holden gets to his feet and goes for the Façade, but Rydell elbows him away before he can execute it. Holden spins completely around and connects with Black, and both men are down.
Holden and Rydell both begin to crawl towards their corners, but Angie is still down at ringside as Holden makes the tag to Deimos. Deimos comes into the ring and drops an elbow across Rydell’s back. He picks Rydell up and drives his shoulder into Rydell’s chest, pushing him back into the empty corner. Deimos stomps him down, then yanks him out of the corner, spinning around and throwing him back in shoulder first into the post.
Angie jumps up onto the apron and makes the tag, vaulting the ropes into a double axe handle strike on Deimos that knocks him down. Angie unleashes the OBVS kicks on him, Holden rushes in to stop her but runs into a roundhouse kick. He falls to his knees, and Angie goes back and forth between Deimos and Holden, connecting with a series of OBVS kicks on both, but as she winds up for a final kick on Holden he stands and lifts her for the Jan Wenk Driver, only for Rydell to rush into the ring and tackle him before he can execute the move. Holden and Rydell tumble to the outside as Deimos gets to his feet and charges into a drop toe hold from Angie, and she comes off the ropes and connects with #Vaughemous, and that gets the three.

Backstage, Roxy Cotton is in her locker room.
As the match begins, the announcers ponder over Travis Pierce's claim that Le Bord de Dieu cannot win when the match doesn't have Chaos rules. He circles just inside the ropes, taunting Bordy with a smirk, but she refuses to take the bait and attack. Crossing her arms, she stands her ground as Travis has to make a decision. He bolts across the ring with a wild clothesline attempt, but Bordy fades back to duck. Travis reacts quickly, sweeping her legs from under her as she falls flat. Bordy quickly rolls away from the oncoming stomp and bounds back to her feet. She bounces the ropes as she rises, and leaps for a crossbody block. Ref smacks the mat for 1, but Trav quickly escapes.
Both opponents back to their feet, and they run at one another. Bordy grabs and drops, monkey flipping Pierce. He hits the rope, becoming entangled for a moment, but just as de Dieu leapfrogs, he pushes himself free and she crashes to the floor beside the ring. Bordy in a vulnerable position as Travis leaps up onto the ropes, setting himself up for The Piercing Blow!
At the last minute, he notices Bordy roll toward the steel steps and decides it's not worth the risk. Instead of launching his finisher, Pierce drops down to the apron, and, hanging onto the rope, dips down to begin kicking at where Le Bord is crouched against the steps. She takes shot after shot, but finally grabs Travis' leg, snarling as she yanks him off balance. Pierce hits his head on the apron as he falls, and Bordy runs up the steps to jump down onto The Icon with a double stomp before she begins to run in place!
After a full minute of running on Pierce, Bordy drops down beside him and pulls him up to a sitting position. Settling in behind him, she wraps his head up for the L'étreinte de Dieu. A sheer sense of survival allows Pierce the wherewithal to throw his head back, bashing Bordy in the stomach. She stumbles back, clutching at her gut as Pierce crawls away. He makes it to the steps on the other side, and Aveline throws caution to the wind as she sprints across the floor and shoulder blocks him right into the steel steps!!
They're crumpled in a heap practically on top of one another at the side of the ring, and neither is moving for a moment. Eventually, Bordy begins to stir, and she slowly makes her way to her feet. Lifting Pierce up, she drapes him over the apron, but Travis comes to life long enough to throw an elbow that smashes Le Bord right int he face! He grabs the back of her head and slams it into the apron, then practically slings her into the ring!!
Pierce slides in after her, hopping up to his feet and grabbing Bordy. He's a bit shaky from the attack, not steady on his feet as he attempts to awkwardly whip her toward the ropes on the opposite side of the ring. He takes off running, going for The Truth Hurts, but just as he leaps, Bordy drops low and intentionally spears through his feet, knocking him ass over tits and lets him smack face first into the mat! She stumbles around and practically falls on his head before righting herself and slapping on L'étreinte de Dieu!! That's enoughf or the 3 and Le Bord wins the match!
Winner: Le Bord de Dieu

NBK into the ring as Hastings is getting back to his feet, and Donovan surprises him with a double-knee facebreaker that looked eerily like Alan Wallace’s Curtain Call. Covert Jay talked about how he’s pretty sure that Hastings was the second-ever official member of the Vain Fan Club as Donovan was making the cover, but NBK managed to kick out at one-and-a-half. Konrad slow to register that his partner was almost pinned there, only getting one foot in the ring before NBK managed to kick out. Kenzi notices him, beginning to talk at him, but he doesn’t seem to be paying any attention. She gets his attention with a forearm shiver though, causing Konrad to attempt to get into the ring, Sam Green there to stop him. Hastings back into the ring now, and he and Kenzi beginning double-teaming NBK, further infuriating Konrad. They pummel him up against the ropes, before executing a double irish whip. They attempt a double clothesline, but NBK ducks under it. He hits the opposite ropes, and sends both Cooperative Champions down to the mat with a double shoulder block.
NBK slowly crawling towards his corner for a tag, but Konrad has already jumped back down to the floor, obviously contemplating something that is weighing on his mind. With his partner not on the apron, NBK turns and eats a superkick from Kenzi Grey.
