Championship Roll Call:
World Heavyweight Champion: Angelica Vaughn
Cross-HemisphereSemi-Circle Champion: Roxy Cotton
Cooperative Champions: Donovan Hastings and Kenzi Grey
Chaos Champion: Le Bord de Dieu
We are two weeks away from the Massive Melee, and things are heating up on Synergy. Despite Roxy Cotton’s best efforts to avoid it, she is on a collision course with Angelica Vaughn for the Massive Melee event, and tonight Roxy will serve as the guest referee for Angie’s cooperative match.
In the main event, the Cooperative Championship is on the line as the Piercing Weapons receive the championship opportunity they earned at Seven Deadly Sins. Can Jet Somers and Travis Pierce return to their past glories?
Your Synergy coverage begins, now…
- Vinegar, Hans, and Jay give us the usual intro that transitions into childish bickering. [/CopyPaste]
Wrestley and Raab to get things started, and El Flippy Loco runs circles around Raab in the early goings, spinning the Iceman around as he stays a step ahead of him, finally taking him down from behind before sliding on top of Raab and taking him into a headlock. Raab twists out and behind WMcW into a waistlock, but the Slenderweight Sensation drops to the mat and pulls him into a cradle for a two count.
Both men pop to their feet, but Raab catches him with a European Uppercut that knocks McWrestleface on his back. Raab pulls him up in a waistlock, but the Big Spinny runs them both backwards into the corner. Raab stumbles, and El Flippy Loco vaults him before hopping onto the turnbuckle, leaping off and taking Raab down with Upside Down. WMcW goes to follow up with Boy, You Turn Me, but Raab rolls out of the way of the standing shooting star, goozles McWrestleface and lifts him into the Iceinator for a two count.
Raab brings WMcW to the corner and makes a tag to Steele, and together they hit a double vertical suplex before Steele covers for another two count, as across the ring Holden assures a young boy in a Wrestley mask in the front row that double team moves are too mainstream to be effective. Spinning heel kick by Steele knocks WMcW back into her team’s corner again, she connects with a corner Yakuza kick before tagging back out to Raab.
Armtrap chickenwing German suplex by Raab folds El Flippy Loco up like an accordian, as in the corner Holden stomps his feet to try to get the crowd going (as opposed to clapping his hands, I suppose). McWrestleface is trying to stumble back to his feet, and Raab handsprings for the Ice Storm, but El Flippy Loco catches him with a desperation pele kick, and both men are down. Kate Steele is bouncing on the second rope, leaning over the ropes for a tag, as both WMcW and Raab begin crawling towards their corner. WMcW makes the tag to Holden, a moment later Raab does the same to Steele.
Holden comes at her with Labokkatao strikes that Steele evades before countering with a series of martial arts kicks of her own. Holden is knocked back into a corner as Steele comes in with a Yakuza kick, and Holden collapses and rolls towards the center of the ring. Steele springboards into a leg drop, but Holden rolls out of the way and she crashes onto the mat. Holden quickly lifts her into a side suplex, and immediately follows up with a snap suplex. Holden pops to his feet and suddenly pivots, connecting with Black on Raab and knocking him off the apron.
Holden turns his attention back to Steele, but she surprises him with a small package, and he barely kicks out at two. They both get to their feet, but Holden lifts her directly into the Jan Wnęk Driver, and that gets the three.
Winners: Holden Orson and Wrestley McWrestleface

Both teams make their entrances, as special guest referee Roxy Cotton makes small talk with Angelica Vaughn as she side-eyes Le Bord de Dieu. Covert Jay talks about how he likes the new direction UGWC is going with officials who are better looking on the eyes, and visibly sighs as de Rhombus rings the bell to make this match official.
Angie and Zane discussing who will start the match, and then Zane steps out to the apron. Angie is blindsided by Hide, who rocks her with a clubbing blow to the back of her head. After spiking her with a DDT, he makes the cover, but only gets a two-count when Roxy is late to hit the mat and begin the count. Must be those first-match jitters for the guest referee.
Hide yanks Ang to her feet and deposits her overhead with a release German suplex, and the UGWC World Champ folds up like an accordion as a result. ‘Deathwish’ waits for Vaughn to get back to her feet, and then sends her back down with a chop block from behind. Immediately he applies a single-leg crab, as ‘The Number One Hitmaker’ shouts out instructions from the floor. Angie clawing to try and reach the bottom rope, but Yamazaki realizes it and pulls her back out to the center of the ring. A look of concern on the face of Roxy as she checks on her bff, but Hide release the hold when Zane Scott steps through the ropes. Zane smiling as he steps back out onto the apron, as it looks like Roxy might have helped Angie roll out of the ring to create some distance between her and the deranged Yamazaki.
Angie up on her feet using the steel guardrail to maintain her vertical base as she kicks out her leg multiple times in an attempt to alleviate some of the pain caused by that chop block and submission move. The reigning Chaos Champ hops down and makes a beeline towards Angie, smashing her into the guardrail with a running avalanche, before mounting her and raining down right and left hands. Zane hops down and walks over, but Roxy slides out and pulls Bordy off, admonishing her that another attack like that when she isn’t the legal participant will result in a disqualification. Before those two come to blows, Hide slides out and grabs Angie by the hair, and shoves her back into the ring under the bottom rope.
Angie to her feet, but Yamazaki is waiting on her and begins peppering her with stiff kicks to each leg. He then paint brushes her on both sides of the face, before refocusing on the legs. He attempts a spinning backfist, but Angie ducks and lunges forward. Hide stumbles slightly after the miss, but turns back around only to be met with a pele kick that connects with the top of his skull. Both participants down on the mat now, as Roxy begins the mandatory ten-count.
Hide is back to his feet first, making his way over and tagging in Le Bord. ‘The Red Queen’ charges in but Vaughn sees her coming and connects with a roundhouse kick that sends Bordy to the mat. Bordy up to a knee, but Vaughn connects with a superkick that hits flush on the jaw of Le Bord de Dieu. Bordy is in La-La Land at the moment, but Angie is reaching for that knee that Hide landed the chopblock on. Roxy checking on Angie to make sure she is ok, as Angie pulls herself to her feet by the near ropes. Eyeing one of the two neutral corners, Angie steps out onto the ring apron and begins climbing to the top rope. Finally perched up top, she looks down to see Le Bord running towards her. De Dieu climbs the ropes to meet Angie, and wraps her in a bear hug. She connects with three quick headbutts to the chest of Vaughn, and then launches herself forward, and both Angie and Le Bord fall hard to the floor below.
Zane down and over to check on Angie, as Roxy looks on horrified. Johnny Bonecrusher begins yelling something to Hide, who hops to the floor and runs over, kicking Zane in the back of his head. He grabs Le Bord and gingerly lifts her up, making his way back to his corner. He places her on the mat and rolls her into the ring, and then hops up onto the ring apron and makes the tag to the dazed de Dieu. Hide hops back down to the floor, just as Angie is starting to get to her feet. She turns around, and he grasps her around the waist, sending her high overhead with a release belly-to-belly suplex. Back to his feet again, he makes his way over to Vaughn and pulls her to her feet. Shoving her into the ring, he slides in and makes the cover. Roxy slowly drops and begins the count, but it is broken as Zane Scott grabs the legs of Hide and yanks him out of the ring.
Taking a few steps back, Zane waits for Yamazaki to get back to his feet, before connecting with a big boot that sends Hide against the ring apron. A kick to the gut doubles Yamazaki over, and then Zane Scott lifts him into the air. Turning, he takes off running, and tosses Hide into the ring post with a powerbomb. Zane then shoves Hide back into the ring, where Angie drapes an arm over his chest in a pin attempt that only gets a two-and-a-half before Le Bord dives into the ring to break up the count. Roxy giving Le Bord the business as she begins her count, forcing de Dieu to step back out onto the ring apron. Hide holds the back of his head, as Angie slowly begins crawling across the ring towards Zane. She makes the tag, and Zane Scott enters the ring.
Hide is finally back to a vertical base, but finds himself on the bad end of a backstabber. Zane immediately grabs Hide around the head and face and applies a guillotine choke, causing Hide to flail loudly as he attempts to reach the ropes with his foot. He manages to do so, forcing Roxy to begin administering the mandatory five-count. Zane plays by the rules and releases Hide, but shoved him through the ropes to do so. Yamazaki on the apron now, as Zane smiles and reaches through, applying a front facelock. He takes a few steps backwards catching Hides feet on the ropes, and then drops him with a DDT. Zane with the cover, but Le Bord is in to connect with a boot to the back of Zane’s head, and breaks up the count. Le Bord connects with a running dropkick to the knee of Vaughn on the apron, causing Roxy to go over and check on the World Champion. While that is going on, Le Bord jumps onto the back of Zane Scott and begins clawing at his eyes. Bordy jumps off of the back of Zane as Hide gets to his feet, and he lifts the former World Champion up and connects with a death valley driver. He makes the cover on ‘The Personification of Pain’, but Roxy is still over checking on Vaughn.
Hide begins working the leg of Zane Scott now, and after pulling Zane back to his feet, sends him back to the mat with the Wheel of Fortune. He follows that up by pulling Zane back to his feet again, lifting him into the air and then executing The Tower. With Roxy still checking on the condition of Angelica Vaughn, Le Bord de Dieu enters the ring and begins connecting with kicks and stomps to any available body part of Zane that shows an opening, as JBC calls for Hide to apply the Hanged Man. Roxy finally looks up to see the action, and gets in between of the downed Zane Scott and the tandem of Le Bord and Hide. The crowd half-expects Bordy and Roxy to come to blows, but cooler heads apparently prevail, and Le Bord steps out onto the apron. Zane has made his way to the far neutral corner, where he is propped up and rubbing his knee and shin.
Hide over and connects with a few stomps, before reaching down and pulling Zane to his feet. A high knee doubles Zane over at the waist, and Hide grabs Zane around the waist and lifts him up for a gutwrench powerbomb. Zane somehow manages to float out of the hold, landing behind of Yamazaki. He turns around and applies a full nelson, before sending ‘Deathwish’ to the mat with the Antidote. Both men now down on the mat, as the crowd all get to their feet.
Both men crawling towards their respective corners, as both men need badly to make the tag. Both tag their partners almost simultaneously, and both Le Bord and Angie enter the ring. Le Bord misses a clothesline attempt, as Vaughn ducks it. Angie bounces off the ropes, returns, and sends Le Bord to the mat with a leg lariat. Both women back to their feet, with Angie connecting with a standing dropkick. Both back up again, with Vaughn connecting with a back-handed slap that stuns Le Bord. Grabbing Bordy’s arm, Angelica Vaughn lifts her leg and places her foot against her jaw, before dropping to the mat, executing a Fall of Eden that would have made the late Eden Morgan proud. The move causes Le Bord to fall backwards into the corner, her head hitting the middle turnbuckle. Vaughn back to her feet and sprints towards de Dieu, engulfing her with a cannonball.
Hide attempting to enter the ring, but Zane sees him. Scott quickly into the ring now and connects with a spear that sends both he and Hide through the middle and top ropes, and out to the floor. Back in the ring, Le Bord is up to her hands and knees, crawling across the ring. Angie connects with a bicycle kick, before getting back to her feet and looking out to the floor. Zane is back to his feet, and their eyes meet. Zane then Salt’s the Earth on Yamazaki, as Angie connects with #Vaughnemous onto Le Bord and gets the three-count.
Winners: Angelica Vaughn and Zane Scott

Roxy helps Angie to her feet and the two hug, as Roxy raises the arm of the World Champion. Vaughn then turns and looks out at Zane. the two of them nod at one another, and then Zane Scott turns and heads up the ramp.
Roxy is still in the ring following the previous match, and she says that she will continue to be a fighting champion, issuing another open challenge for her Cross-Semicircle Title.
Roxy stands in the ring and awaits her challenger for her Cross-Semicircle Championship. She doesn’t have long to wait as “The Man” by The Killers begins to blare through the arena. “The Hoboken Hardman” Paul Harris strolls out onto the ramp and smiles at Roxy in a way that’s quite frankly extremely creepy before he liks his lips in a way that somehow manages to be even creepier. Roxy rolls her eyes at him and her expression remains similarly unimpressed as he makes his way down the ramp, gesturing in ways that are quite frankly rather inappropriate. Once he’s in the ring, he walks up to Roxy and attempts to familiarize himself with her.
It ends up being quite a serious miscalculation on his part.
Roxy kicks him square in the balls.
She looks at Referee Hazel East, who just shrugs...then calls for the bell. Roxy hits the Double D-DT and three quick seconds later, Paul Harris’s entrance has been the lengthiest part of his visit to UGWC.
Thanks for visiting UGWC, Paul. We hope that you enjoyed your stay.

Despite the successful defense, Roxy appears frustrated in the ring.
It’s time for the Co- Operative Championship as the defending champions, “The Lord of Pain” Donovan Hastings and Kenzi Lacklan take on one of the most legendary Co- Operative teams in UGWC history, “The Piercing Weapons”. The arena is abuzz with excitement as the fans are anxious to see if the Weapons will add a fourth Co- Operative reign to their record, their first since 2013. Both Vinegar and Lieberjosch spend ample time hyping the match up while Jay does Jay things. Some people just have no appreciation of epic moments.
The Piercing Weapons enter first to a massive cheer. Jet responds to it with clear appreciation while Pierce soaks it up as if all of the cheers are for him. The two look at each other, nod and march to the ring like conquering heroes as the fans shower them with adoration. They enter and salute the crowd to a massive cheer, then go to their corner and await the Co-Operative Champions. They don’t have long to wait as the current odd couple of UGWC enters to a decidedly frostier entrance. Kenzi responds to it with visible annoyance while Donovan does what Donovan acknowledges the cheers that are undoubtedly being showered down onto him. They walk to the ring and immediately get in the faces of the Weapons before they break off and hold their championships up for all to see. This is met with loud boos, boos that only get louder when Kenzi thrusts her half of the championships into Jet’s face and trash talks him. Sam Green corrals the two teams to their corners and waits for them to chooses their respective starters. Green calls for the bell as soon as the two who are starting the match step in.
Kenzi and Pierce start the match. It begins with a brief tie up before Pierce commences to assering how power over Kenzi. He shoves her to the mat and mocks her as she glares at him from the canvas. She leaps up and charges at him again and he takes a step back and nearly suplexes her from the ring. She leaps up and glares at him. He smiles mockingly at her again and then tags Jet in. Jet steps through and bounces from foot to foot at Kenzi slowly gets to her feet. She advances and ties up with Jet, then gets control by grabbing a handful of hair and yanking back on it. It doesn’t take Jet from his feet, but it does stagger him. She uses the opening to kick him in the face, which takes him down. She leaps up and drops a leg across his throat, followed by a shotgun dropkick and a springboard moonsault.
She leaps up and celebrates, making sure to mock Jet and Pierce while Donovan watches inscrutably from the outside. She turns to get Jet from the match, but he’s not where he was seconds ago. She turns and looks up as Donovan yells something at her from their corner, then promptly eats a missile dropkick from Pierce. Unfortunately for her, Donovan’s yells of warning were heard about a second too late. Pierce tags Jet and the two go to work on Kenzi, ragdolling her around the ring with a slew of technical and speed moves before the level her with a combination double underhook backbreaker/ 450 combo. Pierce drops for the cover, but it’s broken up by Donovan at two.
Donovan drags Pierce towards their corner before he’s intercepted by Jet. Sam Green gets between them and shoves Jet back towards his corner. Donovan uses the chance to pull Kenzi back to their corner and slap his own hands together to fake a tag. Sam Green turns around as soon as he hears the slap and looks at Donovan suspiciously. Donovan insists that he tagged Kenzi as he holds her limp arm in his. Sam shakes his head, but finally allows Donovan into the ring.
Donovan enters and takes advantage of a weakened Pierce. He goes on a roll, hitting all of the legendary moves from his repertoire. The already weakened Pierce is left in a heap after taking a spinebuster, a gutbuster, a neckbreaker, a half-nelson legsweep and finally an STO for good measure. He backs up towards his corner as if he’s lining Pierce up for another impact move when he’s suddenly slapped on the shoulder. He turns and looks at Kenzi, who smiles innocently then steps in and gestures him out. Donovan shakes his head, but steps out. Kenzi turns and looks down at Pierce with an evil smile. She stalks him as he crawls to his feet and then hits him with a chop block, then a sleeper drop that slams him down on the back of his head. She backs up against the corner and waits as Pierce stumbles to his feet, at which point she explodes out of her corner and leaps up for the “One Hit Wonder”.
She comes up with empty air as Jet reaches over the ropes and yanks Pierce out of harm’s way, then slaps him on the shoulder. Green accepts it as a tag and Jet leaps up onto the top rope with a springboard “Chok” that sends her corkscrewing across the ring. The next few minutes consist of the wily and dangerous veteran showing the impetuous younger talent a thing or two about wrestling. After a few minutes of tying her in knots with moves that focus on her legs he punctuates her misery by locking her into the Jethammer. She yells in pain and struggles against the hold, but can’t break it. Sam Green asks her if she wants to submit, but she refuses. She tries to force her way out of the hold, but Jet is too strong for her and cinches it in further.
Kezi tries to struggle to the ropes, but can’t move. It looks like she’s going to tap out when Donovan flies in out of nowhere and drives a vicious boot into the side of Jet’s head. The impact almost knocks Jet from the ring and Donovan adds insult to injury with “Destiny’s Call” before Pierce bullrushes him and sends them both tumbling over the top rope and from the ring with a clothesline. Unfortunately for Kenzi that leaves her alone, but thankfully for her Jet is in no condition to fight back.
Outside the ring, both men finally get to their feet and begin to exchange punches. Referee Green leans over the ropes and yells at both of them to get back to their corners but it’s to no avail as they throw haymakers at each other. Inside the ring, Kenzi begins to move first. She looks up and sees Referee Sam Green distracted by the two brawling outside the ring. She waits for Jet to struggle to his feet and drives her elbow up between his legs with a vicious shot to the groin. Outside the ring, Donovan spins and throws Pierce head first into the ring steps with a triumphant yell, then dashes back to his corner.
Kenzi pulls Jet to his feet and hits him with a quick “Breakout Performance”, which she follows up with the “Walk of Fame”. She drops onto a quick pinfall and hooks his leg. Sam Green drops to the mat to count it and fails to notice that Donovan is holding Jet’s leg down from outside of the ring. He hits the mat for the third time and calls for the bell as Donovan pops up and leaps onto the apron as Kenzi celebrates their victory.

Roxy Cotton vs Paul Harris
Roxy Cotton vs Paul Harris

Cooperative Championship
Donovan Hastings and Kenzi Grey vs The Piercing Weapons
Donovan Hastings and Kenzi Grey vs The Piercing Weapons
