That show was completely insane ! It had everything in it and it flowed almost perfectly. Plus...I've never seen so many ways to refer to Tate as "Fatty McFat Fat", I chuckled every time I saw that.
Thank you to everyone who voted for me in the "Heart and Soul of GIW" Tournament. I appreciate the votes of confidence. Congrats to everyone in it, you guys wrote some fantastic RPs and I'm honestly surprised that I won.
Congrats to BoolZ and Donovan for retaining. I'm sorry R! didn't win, but my boy will be back to challenge for that Championship again.
Why choose a lesser evil, folks? Dirge. Presidential candidate of the future.
What can I say? Covenant and Blessed Immortality stole the show again!
I have to echo a little of what Boolz said about it not quite stacking up the way Sentinel did, but that's the price of having a great pre-PPV show.
On one hand, I am a little tiny bit disappointed that the Global Final ended up having exactly who we all thought it would in the back of our minds... no surprises is always a disappointment. HOWEVER! It was a logical happening due to the past month, and it was a great match!
DIRGE HEART AND SOUL OF GIW?
I'm so going to use that in an upcoming promo.
Sorry I couldn't really contribute to this show guys, my internets were down nearly all week.

Yeah, I was really, REALLY happy with this show. I think the month as a whole has been one of the strongest in a while, with a myriad of interesting storylines, and the large overlapping storyline of The Covenant’s emergence as The Power in GIW.
I see where people are coming from in terms of the PPV maybe being overshadowed by the Sentinel that it followed, but in some ways I think that’s kinda realistic. I think Sentinel’s are better placed for storyline progression as seen last week, with OLL being almost killed, and Pay-Per-Views should be mainly about the actual matches.
Also PPV’s should try and tie up as many loose ends as possible, before opening doors for the next month. I think this PPV did that in many ways, and it opens a lot of opportunities up for the coming weeks.
With hindsight, the positioning of the final and the Title match may have benefitted from being switched around, but I don’t think it was too detrimental to the show itself.
Congrats to Dirge on a well deserved win, congrats to Donny on a close defence, commiserations to R!, but we know he’ll be back. Most of the field of the Global Challenge deserves congrats because they all helped make it feel prestigious by pulling out some great posts.
I hope everyone enjoyed the entire month and the threads of The Covenant’s rise to power, it may seem like it’s been long overdue, but I think it has happened at the right time, and I think the right execution. I think Ad, R!, Donny and I are quite happy with how this month has panned out storyline wise, and hope it keeps rolling well.
Thanks for reading, thanks for contributing, and thanks for generally keeping this place pumping guys.

Personally, I really liked that it ended with Hastings retaining. That way he won the match, but it doesn't feel like the Title is the ultimate victory at this point...like, it was STILL Covenant's night. And like any great villain-arc in a comic series, the heroes won a battle that thwarted the villains, but it still doesn't feel that way. Yeah, Batman kept Joker from robbing the Hope Diamond exhibit, but Batgirl is still lying in a pool of her own blood and Penguin is still the Governor. It's like...it's a victory, but a very costly one, and people still feel that Covenant is gonna take over. I like it.

I thought the spacing (lack there of) of the finals of the HaS tourny was perfect. I look at it as Dirge really just imposing his will. The way it played out seemed as if the 'plan' was to finish with the heart and soul, but Dirge and Covenant just changed it with Tate. Helps, to me anyway, further Dirge's diabolic motives while highlighting the grand prize of the UGC title in the main event.
