“I’m Alive” plays in the arena as pyros explode all around.
Mister Mav: Welcome, one and all, to our first pay-per-view broadcast in nearly three years! Welcome to LWF: Renewal!
Covert Jay: Huttah!
Mister Mav: Tonight sees the return of both the Cross-Hemisphere Title and the Tag Team Championship, and in our main event, the LWF Title is up for grabs, with four men battling it out, all of whom have held it twice before!
“You Know My Name” hits to a loud pop as pyros explode, and as the music softens Travis Pierce comes out from backstage and makes his way down the ramp.
Mister Mav: We have a triple threat match between three LWF rookies to open this pay-per-view extravaganza, and we have just received word that the winner of this match will be the first person to get a title shot against a reigning champion in the new era, the winner will face the new Cross-Hemisphere Champion for the title later this week!
“Big Things Poppin” hits, and “All Nite” Jake White adjusts his cap as he comes out to the stage. He takes a cell phone call as he makes his way down the ramp.
Mister Mav: Once again, Jake White is talking on a cell phone moments before a match.
Covert Jay: Maybe somebody is telling him about the title shot.
Mister Mav: I suppose that is possible.
“The Dope Show” hits to heat from the crowd as the lights turn red and yellow, and streaks of fire follow Baal down the ramp to the ring.
Mister Mav: This is simply a terrifying man who has done serious damage to both White and Pierce, will either of them be able to extract revenge tonight?
The three men stand apart in a triangle, with each staring down the other two. Jake White shouts to get Pierce’s attention, then points to Pierce, then to himself, then to Baal.
Mister Mav: Baal has targeted both of these men in recent weeks, and it appears that Jake White is suggesting to Travis Pierce that they work together against a common foe!
Covert Jay: They must be using NewMath.
Mister Mav: NewMath?
Covert Jay: Yes, in which two is better than one.
Mister Mav: Don’t you mean greater?
Covert Jay: Quiet, you’ll offend the numbers.
After a few moments Pierce nods his agreement, and both approach Baal. He knocks White back with a punch, then Pierce, and White spears him down. Jake White stomps on Baal, and he and Pierce pull him up and whip him across the ring, then deliver a double shoulder tackle, but Baal is unfazed, and he grabs Pierce and hurls him over the ropes to ringside! Baal turns around into a spear from Jake White, and White rains repeated blows on the face of Baal. Jake White stands up and drags Baal away from the ropes to the center of the ring, then covers, one, two, Pierce slides in and breaks it up.
Mister Mav: So much for the early alliance.
Covert Jay: NewMath wins again!
Pierce pulls White up and shoves him into the corner, then tears into him with knife edge chops. Pierce chops away at White as Baal staggers up, and Baal grabs Pierce from behind for a full nelson slam. White dives out of the corner and takes Baal down a chop block, and as Baal tries to get back up White comes off the ropes and hits a swinging neckbreaker, the floats into a cover and hooks the leg, one, two, Pierce kicks him in the chest and breaks it up. Pierce lifts Jake White to set up a vertical suplex, but White floats out into a reverse DDT. White gets up into a swinging neckbreaker from Baal, and Baal picks up White by the legs and turns him over into a Boston Crab! Jake White is trapped in a submission hold, but Pierce bounces off the ropes and hits a flying forearm to the back of Baal’s head, breaking up the hold. Baal staggers and turns around into The Truth Hurts, and Baal rolls out of the ring as Jake White staggers up. Pierce turns back around and White scoops him for a brainbuster, but Pierce floats out and school boys him, one, two, Jake White kicks out. Both men get up at the same time and Pierce whips White off the ropes, but White comes back with a flying clothesline. Pierce tries to get right up, but Jake White goes to whip him across the ring, but Pierce reverses it and pulls Jake White back into a knee to the chest, then hits the Breakdown! Pierce gets to his feet and points to the top rope to cheers from the crowd.
Mister Mav: Travis Pierce, forgoing an opportunity to go for the pin in favor of a top rope maneuver, and this could be the Piercing Truth!
Covert Jay: Bah, a ninja is not interested in such things.
Mister Mav: What, the truth? Because I thought you weren’t interested in reality.
Covert Jay: Reality Bytes.
Pierce indeed signals for the Piercing Truth, but Baal is up at ringside and he reaches up and shakes the ropes, and Pierce loses his balance and falls onto the turnbuckle. Baal climbs up on the apron, but White is up and hits a running dropkick, knocking Baal back to ringside. White goes to the corner and sets up Jacob’s Ladder, but Pierce counters it into a tornado DDT! Pierce covers White, one, two, White gets his shoulder up!
Mister Mav: Jake White got his shoulder up after that incredible counter by Travis Pierce, and by gosh I thought that was all!
Pierce starts to pull White up, but Baal is back in the ring and he boots Pierce down. Baal pulls White up and lifts him into a press, preparing Fire and Brimstone, but Pierce pops up and hits the Truth Hurts, catching Baal by surprise! Pierce gets back to his feet and is about to go for a cover, but Jake White school boys him down into a pin, he’s got his feet on the ropes but the referee doesn’t see it, one, two, three!
Winner: Jake White
Lock is sitting at his desk. Someone is sitting in a chair in front of him, but has their back to the camera and their identity is obscured.
Lock: It’s good to have you back, I really mean that. As promised, here you go…I trust you will…do the right thing.
Lock hands the person a referee’s shirt.
“Phucking Phreak” hits to strong heat, and Fear and Hastings make their way down the ramp to the ring.
Mister Mav: It is still hard to accept Fear as a member of the Regime, in spite of all the dastardly things he has done in his career.
Covert Jay: Hasn’t the Regime always been about fear?
Mister Mav: The Regime is about bullying people and manipulating situations to get your way.
Covert Jay: Fear isn’t manipulative?
Mister Mav: He’s not a bully.
Covert Jay: Just because you ask questions and don’t expect answers doesn’t mean I don’t expect them either when I ask something.
“Metal Militia” hits, and Lone Wolf and Dark Angel come out from backstage.
Mister Mav: When don’t I expect an answer?
Covert Jay: WHY? DAMMIT, WHY? BY GOD I WANT TO KNOW WHY!! WHAT WILL HAPPEN NEXT? DON’T MISS WARZONE!!!!!!
Mister Mav: I swear to God, no matter what happens in our main event, I refuse to say that tonight.
“Pretty Handsome Awkward” hits as the Militia reaches the bottom of the ramp, and Red Fusion comes out to the stage.
Mister Mav: I can’t help but notice that of our three teams, only Cold Fusion has elected to use separate entrances, and you have to wonder if that lack of cohesion will carry over to their match.
“What I’ve Done” hits, and CoolJ struts out to join his partner, as the Metal Militia are already in the ring.
Covert Jay: Are they allowed to use our tables?
Mister Mav: If they don’t, somebody else will, I’m sure.
Fear and Hastings each powerslam a Militia Member, but Cold Fusion comes into the ring and clothesline the Lords of Pain to the mat. Lone Wolf spears CoolJ, and they spill through the ropes to the outside. Red Fusion glances at them on the outside for a moment, then turns around and walks into a clothesline from Fear that knocks him over the top rope to the outside. Fear rolls to the outside and starts pounding on the fallen Red Fusion. In the ring, Donovan Hastings and Dark Angel grapple, and Hastings gets Dark Angel in a headlock, but Dark Angel counters with a suplex. Dark Angel pulls Hastings up and wrenches his arm, then climbs the turnbuckle and walks along the top ropes before jumping off and clubbing Hastings in the back. Dark Angel pulls Hastings back up, but Hastings catches him off guard and hits a Russian Leg Sweep. Outside the ring, CoolJ clotheslines Lone Wolf over the barricade, and the two begin to brawl through the crowd. On the opposite side of the ring, Fear lifts Red Fusion up and drops him on the barricade. Hastings lifts Dark Angel for a pump handle slam, but Dark Angel floats out and shoves Hastings into the ropes. Hastings bounces off and Dark Angel hits the electric beheading. Dark Angel climbs the turnbuckle, and outside the ring Fear whips Red Fusion into the steel steps. Dark Angel waits for Hastings to stand up and stands on the top rope, readying his arm for a lariat. Hastings starts to get up, but Fear reaches up and disrupts Dark Angel’s balance, causing him to fall on the turnbuckle. Hastings puts a table in front of Dark Angel, and Fear shoves Dark Angel off the turnbuckle. Hastings pushes Dark Angel on top of the table, as Fear leaps off the turnbuckle and hits the Meteor Press on Dark Angel through the table!
Mister Mav: If Lone Wolf goes through a table, the Metal Militia will be eliminated!
CoolJ tumbles out of the crowd and back over the barricade to ringside, followed by Lone Wolf. Fear sets up a table leaning against a corner in the ring. Lone Wolf looks into the ring and sees his partner lying in the broken shards of the table. Lone Wolf sets up a table at the bottom of the ramp, then shoves CoolJ back into the ring as Hastings stares at Lone Wolf and climbs a turnbuckle. Hastings leaps off and splashes Lone Wolf on the outside. Fear pulls up CoolJ and whips him towards the table, but Red Fusion slides into the ring on the far side and spears his partner to the mat, preventing him from crashing into the table. Fear pulls Red Fusion up and sets up the Numbing, but Fusion backdrops out of it. CoolJ rolls to the side of the ring by the ramp and uses the ropes to pull himself up on the apron, but Donovan Hastings is out there waiting, and he reaches up from beneath CoolJ and powerbombs him off the apron and through the table!
Mister Mav: One half of Cold Fusion has been eliminated!
Covert Jay: A ninja has no need of fractions.
Red Fusion sees CoolJ lying in the table, and stares at Hastings, and Fear capitalizes by hitting a full nelson slam on Fusion! Fear moves the table that is in the corner, setting it up in front of the corner instead of against it. Red Fusion charges, but Fear ducks and backdrops him to the outside. Fear points to Hastings as he beats on Lone Wolf and tells him to bring Lone Wolf into the ring. Hastings shoves him in, then walks around the ring and starts to beat on Red Fusion. Dark Angel starts to stir as he lies in the splintered remains of a table. Fear hits a DDT on Lone Wolf, then pulls him to the corner and sets him up on the turnbuckle. Dark Angel gets up and crosses the ring, sneaking up behind Fear. Fear starts to climb the turnbuckle, but Dark Angel bends over and lifts Fear up on his shoulders. Fear doesn’t know what is going on, and Lone Wolf stands up on the top rope. Lone Wolf leaps off the turnbuckle, spearing Fear off of Dark Angel’s shoulders and through the table! Fear is eliminated! The crowd can’t believe that spot!
Mister Mav: One half of each team has been eliminated!
Covert Jay: Stop using math, it hurts my head.
CoolJ climbs out of splinters at ringside, and sets up another table at ringside, behind a turnbuckle. Hastings climbs back into the ring and big boots Dark Angel to the mat. CoolJ rolls into the ring, bringing another table with him. Lone Wolf attacks him, and sets up a powerbomb, but CoolJ reverses it into a hurricarana. CoolJ pulls Lone Wolf to a corner and sets him up on the turnbuckle, then climbs himself and starts punching Lone Wolf. The crowd counts as CoolJ punches, but Lone Wolf shoves him off after six. Lone Wolf stands on the top rope and points at CoolJ, but Hastings charges and hits a mighty dropkick, knocking Lone Wolf off the turnbuckle and through the table behind it!
Mister Mav: The Metal Militia is eliminated!
Hastings staggers, and CoolJ grabs him for a Shader, but Hastings shoves him away and CoolJ smacks into the referee! Hastings pursues CoolJ, but CoolJ catches him with the Shader, and this time he hits it! CoolJ pulls Hastings over the table and rolls him on top of it as Red Fusion climbs a turnbuckle. Fusion leaps off, Fusion Bomb, driving Donovan Hastings through the table!
Mister Mav: Cold Fusion has won this match, but the referee is still down!
Covert Jay: So they haven’t won!
Mister Mav: They’ve won the match, dammit, they just need the referee to realize it!
CoolJ shakes the referee, meanwhile Fear is back in the ring behind Red Fusion, and he grabs him for the Numbing! Fear moves Hastings and puts Red Fusion in the broken table, then pushes Hastings back on top of him. CoolJ has gotten the referee to stir, and he turns around as Fear spears him down! Fear and CoolJ roll out of the ring, meanwhile the referee sees Hastings on top of Fusion and the broken table, and he signals for the bell!
Winners: The Lords of Pain to become the Tag Team Champions
Mister Mav: I can’t believe it! That manipulative bastard Fear, has stolen the titles!
Covert Jay: His parents aren’t married?
Mister Mav: Who gives a damn!
Covert Jay: You do, obviously.
An image of burning buildings is shown, and the haunting sounds of children singing plays.
“Bite the Bullet” hits to a pop from the crowd, and McCammon walks out to the stage amidst the blue strobe lights.
Mister Mav: J.W. McCammon united the Cross-Hemipshere and Imperial Titles shortly before LWF went on hiatus nearly three years ago, and he is looking to pick up where he left off here tonight!
“The Nobodies” hits as a red glow fills the arena, and Diablo walks down the ramp and meets his opponent in the ring.
Mister Mav: Diablo is himself a 2-Time former Cross-Hemisphere Champion, and a fitting opponent in this match, between two rising stars of LWF.
The competitors grapple in the ring, and McCammon cuts behind Diablo and goes for a suplex, but Diablo floats out of it and clubs McCammon in the back of the head, then sets up a pump handle slam, but McCammon floats out and shoves him away. Diablo bounces off the ropes, and runs into a superkick from McCammon. McCammon stands over Diablo, then starts to head for the outside, but Diablo grabs his foot and pulls it out from under him. Diablo gets up and pulls McCammon up into a waistlock, then delivers a German suplex. Diablo pulls him back up and goes for a second, but McCammon elbows out of it. McCammon goes to grab Diablo, but Diablo grabs his arm and whips McCammon into the corner. Diablo slaps McCammon’s chest repeatedly, then pulls him out of the corner and into a powerslam. Diablo rolls out of the ring and folds up a ladder, then carries it back into the ring. Diablo uses the ladder like a spear, hurling it into McCammon. McCammon staggers away, and Diablo grabs him and hits a russian leg sweep. Diablo sets up the ladder and starts to climb as McCammon uses the ropes to pull himself up. Diablo is almost at the top of the ladder, but McCammon dropkicks the ladder and it falls over. Diablo lands on the ropes, then falls over to the outside. McCammon rolls out of the ring and picks up another ladder. Diablo staggers up, and McCammon smacks him with the ladder. Diablo falls onto the barricade, and McCammon sets up the ladder on Diablo’s head. McCammon hops onto the barriacade and walks down it, then runs back and leaps towards Diablo’s head, but Diablo pulls back! The ladder lands on the ground and McCammon lands on top of it! Diablo tumbles back over the barricade to ringside and slowly rolls back into the ring. He sets the ladder back up and starts to climb as McCammon comes back into the ring. Diablo is halfway up the ladder, but McCammon grabs his leg and pulls him off the ladder and slams him on the mat, and puts him in the Lock-On! McCammon has Diablo in the Lock-On, and Diablo is tapping out, but the referee just shrugs his shoulders!
Mister Mav: This match can only end by taking down the title belt!
Covert Jay: Why bother with this technical nonsense?
Mister Mav: Nonsense?
Covert Jay: Oh, right, “wearing down” and all, yes?
McCammon releases the hold and kicks Diablo in the stomach, then repositions the ladder and starts to climb. McCammon has reached the title, but Diablo knocks the ladder out from under him! McCammon is dangling from high above the ring, holding on to the wire that hangs from the ceiling! McCammon starts to try and release the title, but Diablo folds up the ladder, and hits McCammon with it. McCammon comes crashing down to the mat! Diablo sets the ladder back up and gingerly starts to climb it. McCammon staggers to his feet and starts to climb the ladder on the opposite side. Diablo reaches the top, but so does McCammon! The brawl on the top and Diablo delivers a hard blow to McCammon, knocking him off, but McCammon lands on his feet and bounces off the ropes, shoving the ladder and tipping it over, sending Diablo spilling to ringside.
Mister Mav: McCammon is all alone in the ring! The Cross-Hemisphere Title looks to be his!
McCammon sets the ladder back up and climbs, and Diablo is out of it at ringside! McCammon nears the top, and Baal runs out from backstage to strong heat and slides into the ring. He tips over the ladder, and McCammon lands on the ropes and tumbles to the outside. Baal rolls out of the ring and stomps on McCammon, and Diablo staggers up and rolls into the ring. Diablo sets the ladder up and climbs, and Baal presses McCammon and hurls him to ringside. Diablo is at the top of the ladder, and he pulls loose the title!
Winner: Diablo to become the Cross-Hemisphere Champion
The referee gives Diablo the title belt, and as he holds it in his hands, Baal is back in the ring. The two titans stand face to face, and Baal raises Diablo’s arm!
Mister Mav: It was a plan! These two monsters stand together, and by God who’s going to be able to stop them?
Covert Jay: See? You don’t think anybody is going to answer that.
Mister Mav: Dang.
