(I sit on the window ledge, cell phone in hand, on speaker. James is on the other end.)

Ves: So you busy this weekend?

James: Weekend? What's up?

Ves: My match is still a week away. Are you currently doing an article for the Tribune and when is BAWF showing next?

James: I'm currently gathering ideas for an article. BAWF show is next week. Friday to be exact. Why what's up?

Ves: You interested in doing a wakeboard marathon weekend up at Donner lake. Who from our group or your group would be up to joining us?

James: Hmmmm..... Brianne and Charles I think. I could give them a call. Roberto and Arabella would love to go but they have kids. How do you feel about rugrats in your boat?

Ves: As long as I don't bang it against rocks, docks or flood it with water, I'm ok with them. Maybe you and I can teach them to wakeboard.

James: Ok. If they can't, who from your set is in town?

Ves: J Chung and Bry live in LA they could fly up and we could meet them at the airport. But the twins are two. Little horrors each of them.

James: Maybe they could bring or find a babysitter for the weekend. If not who else.

Ves: What about your sister and her husband?

James: She is 5 months pregnant. Do you think the rocking of the boat in the water is good for her?

Ves: It can't hurt. If she wants, she can stay on shore and watch Arturo go wakeboarding.

James: How many can your dad's cabin house hold?

Ves: Dude, like 10. 5 upstairs and 5 downstairs. You've been there.

James: A few times. I don't remember. Lo siento. (pause) All right I'll call. See if you can get Jamie and Bryan to get a babysitter and come up. I can be packed and ready in a few hours.

Ves: Cool. We need to get gas for the boat because I think we are 1 quarter tank when we left it last time. Probably get food from the Safeway in Truckee once we get up there. Do you want me to pick you up on the way?

(15 minutes later I finish the phone call. I start getting ready to pack for the weekend. After making some calls and getting some answers. I pack a few bikinis and lot of overnight lounge around wear and clubbing clothes. It takes me an hour to pack and get my bath essentials. I find the boat keys in the drawer by the kitchen phone. I go to the closet downstairs and find one wakeboard. I think I left my wakeskate up in Donner last time I was at there. I get in Silver Streak, my canvas topped BMW and take off. At 11AM, rush hour hasn't started yet for lunch so it's smooth sailing over the bridge, pun intended. I take a turn off the Bay Bridge and follow the route to Jack London Square and then a block away to James apartment. He has a GMC Yukon so I put everything in the back of that and park my car in his spot in the garage. While I was packing, he had gone to put gas in some gas cans from the station around the corner. I grab my CD case from my car, get into his car and kiss him as I get in. We take off for the four hour trip to Donner Lake. At 9PM tonight, J Chung and Bry are going to meet us at the airport. We'll pick them up. They found a babysitter for the twins. Also James' sister Dina and her husband Arturo are going to meet as well. They live in Fremont so they'll meet us up there around 10 or 11. That's all we could round up. Both, Brianne and Charles from volleyball had to work and Roberto and Arabella from the Tribune had another engagement. )

(It takes four and a half to five hours to get up there. At 7:00PM we stop at the Safeway On Summit and get groceries for everyone. Then backtrack a mile back to get my house. Or cabin. Its a 10 man cabin. It was originally my father's but since he and mom aren't big water people much, they decided to give it to me. At 8PM, we get to the house, unpack, uncover the boat, put all the food in the fridge, gas up the boat, get it ready, then hook the boat trailer to the hitch. We'll put it in the water as we come back from the airport. By then Dina and Arturo should be there as well.)

(At 9PM, we pull up to the airport curb and find Jamie James and Bry waiting for us. Their flight arrival was 10 minutes early. They hop in, we all hug and then we take the boat back to the Donner Lake, find the launch ramp and James parks the truck. I take over. Somehow, I learned how to launch a boat. Dad never taught me. He never owned a boat. I back down using the spotlights on James' Yukon and get it into the water with little difficulty. It's dark at 10PM but we manage to do it. J Chung gets in, turns it on and drives to my parking spot. She gets out as I drive the truck and trailer back up. She comes huffing up the hill a few minutes later boat keys in hand. James let's me drive his truck home. At 11:30 we pull into the garage at my place. Arturo and Dina have arrived. I help Jamie and Bry carry their stuff up to the second floor. It's good to see Dina again. Love that girl, she is as cute as a button and very cheery. Arturo is her opposite. Opposites attract I guess. I never found that to be true. We all hug and talk but go to bed early as now it's 12:30 by the time we get everyone in. Dina is now 5 and a half months along and looking a little rounder than normal. She tells me she can feel the baby kick. I put my hand on her stomach. I don't feel anything so I bend down to her belly.)

V: I know you can hear me in there. If you do give me a sign you are alive. Otherwise I'll haunt you forever because I know you hate me now. Come on, kid, don't make Auntie Vessey look bad.

(Nothing. I growl as Dina laughs. We all go to bed. I'm glad J Chung loves Dina. I know Bry doesn't get along with Arturo but gets along with James. I'm ok with Bryan. He isn't my favorite person but as long as he is nice to J Chung, I'll be nice to him.)

Outfit: 

(Saturday. In the morning, we start out with breakfast at home. I ask everyone what their ETA is to return home. Everyone says Monday. Good. I'll stay till Tues to clean up after. We pack up, we slather up, take all our toys, I grab the wakeboards from downstairs as well as the wakeskates and the Funtubes. Arturo comes over with his Ipad and shows me a video about esurfing. The newest water sport that's picking up on the West Coast. No boat, just all remote, and you can go up to 25 mph on the water all by yourself. WOW! I love it. My next new toy. We all get in to Bryan's Carvan cruiser, or Aerostar. A beat up white mini van perfect, he says for trips like this. We park, and all get into my Wakesetter. It's a a 25 foot wakeboard boat with plenty of seats for everyone. I strip down to my bikini and when the boat is away from the doc, I stop and jump into the water. It's freezing. But somehow warmer than Tahoe. I let Arturo go first in terms of wakeboarding. He is still learning but has the basics. Then it's Jamie's turn. She starts out on the wakeskate. She really has a hard time with it but she won't give up. When we were up here months ago, she had finally mastered getting up. She did get up this time but can't seem to to stay up.)

V: Balance. It's all about balance. If you have good balance you will do fine (I instruct her.)

JC: This thing doesn't have a fin on the bottom.

V: Well that's the point of it. So you can do different tricks than on a wakeboard.

(She tries again but still doesn't get up. I give her the surfboard, put the sandbags in the back and let her surf the wave. She's really good at it. 15 minutes later she gets out to let Bryan have a turn. He goes faster so he can clear the wake. He can only go for 20 minutes as he doesn't the stamina for it. I let Jamie take control as she is a better boat driver than James. Besides I was taught to drive and so I forced her to be with me so we can have fun together. I jump in with the wakeboard and grab the rope. I will let James drive if it's just us but she drives better than him. I go for 30 minutes. I clear the wake but fall.)

JC: WOO! You go girl! You had it. Get back up and ride it.

Dina: Be the dirty whore you are.

Ves: Dina fuck you! (pause) You're right but still fuck you!

(They all laugh. Jamie takes off, rope slackens and I fly out of the water. I fly and do a 360. I come down and keep balance. WOOOOOO!!!! I go back over the wake and fly up, grab the board, let go and land perfectly on the other side. I do a few more minutes and then let somebody else have a turn. Dina wants to try the surfboard. I let Jamie drive and both Arturo and James take videos of how she is doing. She laughs as she surfs. She is just the cutest thing.)

(We do this for another hour then find an island to sit on, have lunch, slather up again and get the beach umbrellas, the beach chairs and the blankets out. I go for a swim and dive and when I come back up, I somehow end up in James's arms.)

James: I caught a pretty little fishy.

(I cradle closer in his manly arms and turn my neck up, he has to bend his head to kiss me. I turn in his arms and he embraces me as we talk about our weekend so far. Dina and Jamie swim out to us and we all laugh and splash around. Then Dina and I get out and lounge lazily all girl like on our blankets. James does a few laps in the water and Bryan and J chung have a water splash fight. I turn over and James gets on top of me pinning my legs and arms down as he comes up. His board shorts are cold on my stomach and thighs.)

Ves: No fair. I need my legs.

James: You're sexier when you are helpless. I'm sure a lot of men you face would think so too.

Ves: I'm sure they would but you know I have been violated in the ring and then he powerbombed me through a glass table.

James: Right, I forgot about that.

Ves: No worries. I'm safe with you.

( I look at him and give him a little innocent girl look and bite my lips. Flirting hard always works. Takes them by surprise. He kisses me again on both my neck and chest and then pulls me up. We pack up, get off the island and do another two hours or wakeboarding. This time JC gets on the wakeboard. I drive for her. She goes for a whole 40 minutes. She is really enjoying herself which is good. She needs this pick me up on the wakeboard. I can tell she was frustrated on the wakeskate earlier. Dina gets back on. I have another go. James has a go. Arturo and then Bryan have a go. By 5PM we are done for the day. We park, gas the boat up with the cans we brought, get into the truck and go on home. When we get into the door, everyone goes to their bedrooms. Everyone is tired. James watches a movie on his laptop and I curl up next to him like a kitten and I try to stay away but i doze off)

( At 7PM. We are all up and making dinner. We eat, then Dina and Jamie decide they want to go into Tahoe village and do some clubbing at the casino. Bryan is up for it, but Arturo isn't. I'm staying back as I'm really tired but James will go. When they leave an hour later, I start the hot water for a bath, put in bath salts and bubbles and strip down to nothing and almost fall in. Hot water makes my legs turn to jelly but it also makes me horney. I'm more tired right now than anything. It was a good day. it'll be better tomorrow.)

(At 1AM, I'm out of the bath, in pink booty shorts and a very tight tanktop. I hear the others arrive so I pause what I'm watching on my laptop as they come in. Jamie jumps onto the couch next to me. Dina slowly makes her way over. James goes upstairs and Bryan disappears into the back yard. Dina sits on my other side and I put my laptop on the coffee table and then stretch out between putting my head on Dina's lap and my legs on Jamie's, I let my hair splay and I go into innocent girly mode.)

Ves: Did you ladies have fun?

JC: We did. Were you watching porn?

Ves: When am I not? No wait... I was watching a movie.

Dina: (she strokes my hair as she talks) Which one? (something from Disney) You didn't come clubbing tonight (too tired). That isn't like you. Are you feeling ok?

Ves: No it was a long day. I'm feeling fine. But my 15 minute nap wasn't long enough. I wanted to go. But I'll go tomorrow night. We have all tomorrow too. Shall we go to Tahoe this time. Have lunch at the pull in dock at Skippers. Oh that feels good (Jamie is softly caressing my bare stomach as Dina is stroking my hair.)

(We talk for a few minutes then we all decide to go to bed. I lock up, turn out the lights downstairs, go upstairs, and do my bedtime routine. I come out and go down the hall to our bedroom then strip to nothing and fall into bed beside James who is wearing a boxer shorts and white T shirt. I don't even bother to cover up as it's hot upstairs. I lay on my side, he has his hand over me, cradling me, and plays with my left tit and while I am horney, tonight I'd rather go to sleep and do so. We can play tomorrow. But I turn over and cradle into his arm and softly caress his side. Every so often I kiss his arm or chest as I drift off into sleep.)

Place:  Vespertine's cabin.  Donner Lake.

Date/Time: Aug 20th, 2022, 6:30

Day 2 at Donner Lake, Sunday morning

Morning: 6:30AM

(I wake to a slight blowing in my face. I think it's a fly so I brush it away. It happens again and I open my eyes.... to JC peering at me through her hair. I jump as I didn't register her prescence in my room until she was blowing in my face. I slightly yell and bump into James which wakes him up.)

James: Wha- You all right? What's going on?

Ves: Shhhhh.... don't talk. We seem to have an intruder in the house. A wild animal with wild hair.

(James gets on his elbows and looks over at me and sees JC staring through her hair smiling wildly.)

James: Right. Just invite it in for a cup of coffee. Do we still have pastries from Safeway.

Ves: I don't know but keep still. She's staring right at us. I have no idea if she's dangerous or not.

James: Right forget the coffee. Get her a mocha with a donut. (pause) Or do you think a shotgun will work.

Ves: To hell with the shotgun, get the flamethrower.

(JC lunges at us and stops within inches.)

Ves: What in all the blue hells of buddha are you doing in my room (I look at the clock) At 6:30 in the morning?

James: Right. Wake me at 10.

JC: Nothing just sitting and staring at your beautiful naked body. (I groan and lay back too) Oh come on. It's a beautiful morning. Nobody is on the lake yet. We can get a good run in.

James: Wait.... you came to disturb our sleep to tell us that nobody is on the lake. It's 6:30 and what? You want to go wakeboarding this early?

Ves: We usually did when we were in high school and college. Just to be able to say we can do it. (I look over at JC) Who else?

JC: Arturo and James if he is ok with it? Arturo has been up since 5 for some odd reason so he's keen to go.

(I stretch and arch my back which puffs out my chest. I look at the clock. I nod in assent.)

(12 mintes later, Arturo, JC and I are revving up the boat. Glad we put gas in it last night. We untie and launch out of the dock. Jamie wants to go first so she strips down to her bikini and puts on a lifevest and jumps into the water. Arturo throws her a wakeboard and as I go around to get into position, she puts the board on and gets the rope. GO! She screams and I rev the boat forward. She is immediately up. I have no idea where she has the energy but she goes for a good 30 minutes. I'm impressed. She finishes and Arturo goes next. He tries the wakeskate a few times. Gets up once but has a bad fall so he switches to the wakeboard. He gets up on the first try and he has wicked ride that lasts for 20 minutes. Actually he falls a couple of times but is keen to get up again. He finishes so it's my turn. I stop the engine and as Jamie helps him in, I strip to my bikini and put on a life vest and get the wakeskate. Jamie gets into the driver's seat.)

(I go for 45 minutes. I don't know, it's easy for me for the wakeskate. I guess because my balance is really good. I jump the wake and each time I do, I grab the board and come floating down the other side. I try and go higher each time but I can't seem to do it. I let go. Jamie comes back around.)

JC: What's up? You were doing good!

Ves: Could you go faster?

JC: You could've just signaled that.

Ves: Well I want go to 25 and not up 5. So I can jump higher. That's a hard one to signal.

Arturo: Is that good for a wakeskate? I can't seem to get a handle on the damn thing.

JC: You need balance. Vesey has all the balance in the world.

(She agrees and revs the engine. Hit it I shout and she takes off. I go way out in the water and hear the hiss of the water when it's flat. NICE! I come back, hit the wake and go flying. I do a 360 flip as I do so and land with ease on the other side. I go way out and when I come back I try for and execute a perfect 750, double flips over the wake. I come down and land with ease. I do a little jump and switch from front to back on the water. We are now down on the far end of the lake closest to Tahoe. JC has to turn the boat so I hang on but I trip over the wake and go down. She comes back around.)

Ves: See, the faster you go, the higher you jump.

JC: Damn, I can't even get air on it.

Ves: You'll get there. You need more practice.

JC: You already know how to do it and I've been with you since we bought the damn thing.

Ves: Well there were a couple of times James and I came up alone and we spent the weekend trying to figure it out.

JC: Bitch. You practiced without me.

Ves: You were busy with the twins and Bry was busy with work.

(Anyway, she revs the engine and I get up again. I go over the wake and grab the board then go over the wake again and launch way up and out keeping a hold of the rope. I land hard, but keep a hold and as I come back I try for a helicopter twirl. I land but lose balance and fall. I'm going to get someone else have a turn. I get out. JC wants to go again but Arturo wants to save energy for later boatings. I put on a jacket and get in the driver's seat. I rev the engine and she's up straight away with the wakeboard. She goes for 25 minutes falling a few times but having fun. She tries her own helicopter twirl and lands it, hangs on and I keep going. She screams a happy scream and I wave back. Good girl. She got it! 30 minutes later we are back at the cabin and just laying the stuff down on the front deck. We walk in and right away the smell of breakfast hits us. I strip down to my bikini as does JC but Arturo goes to change. Bryan and Dina have been making breakfast for us. Bryan has eaten and has gone into town to get groceries and some sandwiches for lunch. I go up to James and wrap my arms around him and kiss him on the back.)

Ves: What's cooking good looking?

Dina: Oh that I'll have to use next time I flirt with anybody but Arturo.

Art: You're still mine at the end of the night. (he says as he goes into his room)

Dina: I wouldn't dream of straying love.

(James lets me slip around to his side and gives me a kiss. He's almost finished. We all get out plates and silverware and we eat.)


Around noon: 1:30

(Arturo and Dina have come with us out in the boat. Jamie and Bryan went to go shopping in Tahoe village. Or gambling or eating lunch or something. Anyway, we get the boat out of Donner and launch it in Tahoe near Emerald Bay. We spend the whole day in the water. We put the canvas top up so in case the sunscreen stops working. It's not hot but still shade is welcome. I get on the surfboard as James takes the wheel. We put a few sandbags in the back and off we go. I let go of the rope and throw it into the boat after 50 feet but then do some wild surfing and go over the wake a few times. Its hard trying to get back over but I've seen it done and it looks easy. I need to learn. I end my run and then let James and Dina do a tandem wakeboard. They splash each other as they go by. It's fun watching them, their whole family is fun even his grandfather. After 20 minutes they get out and Arturo have a turn. He goes for 30 minutes before he says he's tired and quits. He gets out, I get in and do the wakeskate again. James drives. He goes faster like I ask him and I try for another helicopter twirl but I can't seem to stick it and land face first into the water. He comes back around and I go again. I go a ways out and as I go over the wake, I do a 360 flip. I land easily. I try another helicopter twirl as i come back over. I stick the landing but hit a small wave and go over the front and faceplant over the front. I swim back up and flip my hair. I currently can't hear much, water in the ears but I think I'm done. I get in and we go to the South End of Tahoe at a beach somewheres. We lay out blankets and a picnic basket, grab the sandwiches and dig in. 30 minutes later we are done and Arturo and James are swimming around looking at various places on the boat engine. Dina is laying on a blacket next to me but under an umbrella.)

Dina: Ooops, baby didn't like that. She is kicking.

Ves: Do you know the sex yet?

Dina: Yes, it is a girl.

Ves: Have you named her yet? (I look around and unstrap my top seeing noone on the beach near me.)

Dina: No we are waiting until she arrives and sees what she looks like. (pause) You might want to put those away, Arturo can get ideas.

Ves: Sorry (I do so. I forget I'm around other men who can get ideas. It's so easy to be naked around James. He's a handsome hottie who is easy going) Do you have ideas for names?

Dina: I want to go with Sasha. Arturo wants a mexican name like Lupita or Angelita.

Ves: Is Lupita a Mexican name?

Dina: Not really. But he feels it fits.

Ves: I'll have James talk to him.

(We continue to talk and as we do so, Arturo goes to sit on a beach chair under the umbrella and James gets a beer from the boat, tosses me one, and then comes to sit next to me.)

James: (just to me) Saw you take off your top. Saw you put it back on. Did Dina say something? (I nod) Good. I'm sorry, mi amor, I'm not comfortable with you showing yourself to my sister's husband. (I look over at Dina and Arturo and they are deep in conversation).

Ves: I understand. I'm sorry. If you were any other man saying it, I would just blow you off, get naked then kick your ass. But I respect your wishes.

James: Sorry, I don't mean to be miserly about it. I love your freedoms and respect your decisions and wishes. As you know, though, not a big fan of Arturo. He doesn't seem right for her. But I am the brother and she loves him so I respect her wishes. But I kinda don't want this getting back to mom and dad that you love to be naked or as near as every minute we are alone or with family.

Ves: Understood.

(I arch my back and he cradles me in his arm. We stay for another half hour, then head out and go home. Nobody wants to ride as we are all tired. So we just head back. We walk in and see Bryan and JC head deep in a Scrabble game. Blah, board games. I go upstairs to the shower. I see the clock. It's 3. So I strip down, shower, get back in my bikini then go our room and curl up in a ball and go for a nap.)



Afternoon/dusk: 6:45
(I woke an hour ago. 15 minutes after Jamie and Bry finally finish their game of Scrabble. While I slept, Dina and Arturo made dinner. We eat then James and I go take a boatride. Back on Donner there are plenty of people still water skiing and wakeboarding so sex on the beach is out of the question. We go for a quiet ride around the entire lake which can take up to an hour. We stop in a little cove at the far end. We strip down and rock each other's world. I love it when he is inside of me. We didn't bring protection so he has to pull out. An hour later when we are done playing with each other, at 8:30, we arrive back at the dock and gas it up again, one gas tank down. We drive back and find only Dina in the house. She tells me Arturo is out in the backyard reading and looking at the stars and Bryan and Jamie have gone to the casino back at Stateline to club or gamble. Dina gives me a long hard stare.)

Dina: I would say someone has been playing again with no clothes on.

(I pause stripping down to my bikini when I hear this. James misses a step on the stairs up. We laugh as he goes up to shower. I go up and sit next to Dina who was watching a movie.)

Ves: How can you tell?

Dina: You are absolutely glowing. Like you haven't had sex in like a month. When was the last time you had sex with James? (she shudders, he's her baby brother so she can't fathom it.)

Ves: Last Thurs. (I pause as I get into sticky territory) Are you and Arturo ok? (she nods and asks why) I mean, I can't see him being a fatherly figure. I think he'll be a good dad but you two are exact opposites of each other. Shouldn't he be in here with you taking care of you? And that was a pretty deep convo you had earlier on the island.

Dina: Arturo and I are ok. Thanks for asking. He is tired. You took him out this morning and he didn't take a nap like you did. So he's in the backyard just resting. I think I need to check up on him, see if he isn't passed out.

Ves: Passed out? How many beers did he have?

Dina: 8 as compared to the 1, I had and the two you had. One at lunch. One at dinner.

(I get up, pull her up and we walk out to the backyard to see if he is ok. I grab a beer on the way. He is sound asleep on the chaise lounge. We sit on the chair next to him. Dina gets up and rouses him. Telling him it's near 9:30, he gets up, they kiss but quickly, and then he goes up to go to bed.)

Dina: May we borrow your telescope for a while to look at the stars.

(He shrugs and gives it back to her to set up.)

Ves: See. And you've been married for 5 years. Why doesn't he come back and help you out and snuggle and cuddle with you under the stars.

Dina: Oh it's alright. You'll understand when you're married. 5 years isn't a long time but we know each other intimately enough to know when we need our spaces. He needs his now as he is really tired. I respect that because when the baby comes, it'll be nonstop chaos.

(I shrug. I don't get it as when I have a man or woman in my life, I like to spend as much time with them as I can. Having sex with them is even better. Sharing bodies is awesome. Anyway, Dina and I look through the telescope at the moon till 10. Then from then on, we sit back, scarf a few beers, talk and watch as Bryan and Jamie get home at 11:30. Early for them. They go upstairs, Jamie comes out and says good night to us. At 12:30, Dina and I go in after listening to the night creatures and sounds around Donner basin. I go upstairs, do my night routine: teeth, hair, eyes, whathaveyou. I go to our bedroom, strip down to nothing and I slip into bed next to James. He doesn't move so I turn over and press my body as close to him as possible and wrap an arm around him. I kiss his back and then drift off to sleep.)
