Your Synergy coverage begins, now…
We see the ring is set up like an old music store. Selections of different vinyl records are arranged randomly in four bins, one in each corner of the ring. Chuck Rydell enters first, and immediately begins rummaging through one of the bins. Ken Davison is next, and as he’s entering, Chuck already has his weapon of choice in hand: Megadeth’s “Countdown To Extinction” album. Ken observes, amused, and steps over to a bin on the opposite side of the ring. He selects Disturbed’s first album, “The Sickness.” Nice choice, Ken.
The bell rings and Chuck and Ken charge forward. Chuck hits the wrong note with Symphony and whiffs. When he turns around, Ken infects him with The Sickness, breaking the album over his head. Ken falls, dropping Symphony to the mat. Davison pulls him up, quickly executing a snap suplex, then rushes over to another record bin. He seems satisfied as he pulls the Genesis album from 1980 called “Duke.” He turns and does a little shimmy as he prepares to break another record over Chuck’s head.
But Chuck has relocated Symphony of Destruction, and uses it to swing upwards, right between Davison’s legs, causing him to hit a high C! Davison drops the album, bends over and now Chuck DDTs him onto Duke! He makes the cover for a near fall, but Ken kicks out at 2. Chuck marches over and finds his next musical weapon, this time it’s Wheatus’s self-titled album from 2000. He seems a little disgusted by it, but we’ll listen to some Iron Maiden maybe… He turns to find that Ken has selected an album as well: AC/DC’s Razor’s Edge. Which album do you suppose wins this battle?
You probably guessed right. If you didn’t, shame on you. The Razor’s Edge slices a gash across Chuck’s forehead as he stumbles backwards. The Wheatus album drops to the outside of the ring into obscurity where it belongs. Ken charges forward to take advantage, but Chuck has snatched another album from behind his back and swings for the fences. Marvin Gaye’s “What’s Going On” album shatters against Davison’s forehead. Now it’s his turn to stumble backwards. He leans over another bin, reaching in and grabbing several. Chuck does the same, and now the two are toe-to-toe with a handful of records.
Ken swings first, hitting Chuck with Coal Chamber’s “Chamber Music.” Chuck fires back, hitting Ken with Rage Against The Machine’s self-titled album. Now it’s Ken with Ice Cube’s “War and Peace.” And they continue to trade records shots: The Dark Side of the Moon, Follow the Leader, …And Justice For All, Are You Experienced, Abbey Road, Nevermind, and finally Reign In Blood crashes against Davison’s skull as both men are stumbling with crimson masks. Chuck has the presence of mind to follow up his last record shot with BANKRUPT before making the cover and getting the pinfall victory amidst a ring littered with broken records.
Winner: Chuck Rydell

Before the match gets underway, Dave Rydell comes down the ramp, as commentary tells us that Rydell and Vespertine will again compete for the Cross-Hemisphere Title in two weeks at Keeper of the Keys. Rydell joins the commentary table as the match gets officially underway.
Vespertine is still seated on the turnbuckle as the bell rings, and JC charges at her, but she vaults over him and lands safely behind him. JC turns back around as Vespertine connects with a spinning heel kick, knocking him back into the corner. Vespertine leaps onto the second rope and begins raining blows down upon JC, but JC puts a stop to it and shoves her off. Vespertine tumbles to the mat and rolls back to her feet, ducking under a clothesline attempt from JC, and she springboards into an arm drag that sends JC sprawling under the ropes to the outside. Vespertine steps out to the apron and springboards towards JC for a lionsault, but JC catches her in the air and drives her to the ground with a powerslam at ringside!
Rydell is arguing with Jay on commentary about nachos, meanwhile JC sends Vespertine back into the ring and climbs up onto the apron, stepping back in between the ropes. JC plants her with a belly to back suplex, shoots the half into a cover, but Vespertine kicks out at two.
JC brings Vespertine back to her feet and whips her off the ropes, but she comes back with a running leg lariat, knocking the Bogeyman off his feet. He scrambles to get back to his feet as Vespertine kips up, and she staggers him with a series of muay thai kicks. Vespertine sprints to the far side of the ring, using the ropes to build momentum, but JC suddenly runs off the ropes perpendicular to her, and connects with Dance Macabre! Vespertine is launched through the ropes and spills to ringside!
JC smiles, waving for Vespertine to come back into the ring, but Travis Pierce appears in the ring behind JC with a microphone, and there is a loud thud as he clobbers him in the back of the head with it! The referee has no choice but to call for the bell!
Winner: JC by Disqualification
Time: 6:39
Pierce stands over JC, and has a message for him.
Ezra, knowing Lucy’s speed and flying abilities, immediately yanks her into a tie up and then sweeps her legs. A single leg crab locks her for a moment, but Lucy manages to twist into position to kick him away. Wolf returns but eats a drop toe hold. Now Lucy applies an scissored armbar and Ezra is struggling to get free. The Red-Eyed Warrior plants his boots and begins to push, inch by agonizing inch, until he’s able to get his fingertips on the bottom rope, forcing the break.
Wylde releases Ezra, but immediately yanks him back up to his feet and whips him into the ropes. As he runs back, she telegraphs a Mind Blow, and Wolf feints out of the way, causing her to smack the mat hard. As she begins to get up, he hits a Penalty Kick, then scrambles over to for a cover and a 2 count. Once she kicks out, the Dark Lady shoots for the corner to pull herself up.
Ezra pursues, but Lucy braces herself on the ropes and leapfrogs backward over him. She hits a standing spear that crumples him in the corner. After bashing his head off the turnbuckle a few times, Wylde leaps up and pulls Wolf into a Nightmare Sleeper! She rocks around, cinching the hold in tighter and tighter, but when the ref comes to check on him, Ezra plants his feet and bridges her into a pinning predicament. Lucy immediately releases and shoulder rolls away, only to leap up to her feet and run to the ropes and back for a Fury Brand!
Lucy covers and gets about a two and a half count before Ezra throws a shoulder up.
Ezra hurries to the ropes to pull himself back to his feet, and when Lucy approaches, he hits a Point Break, then whips her into the ropes. As she returns, he sets up for the Knee Jerk Reaction, but Lucy ducks it and leaps onto the ropes. A springboard Wylde Liberation puts Ezra down for the 3 count and Lucy retains!
Winner: Lucy Wylde
Time: 9:48
We are shown highlights of Monty’s dramatic return in the Massive Melee. Non-title match-up, as commentary tells us that the champions will defend in two weeks at Keeper of the Keys against Numinous Fate.
Deimos and Tempest begin the match, as Deimos appears to promise Tempest that he will see to it that Tempest loses his title before slapping him in the face. Tempest is amused, and feints a return slap, but Deimos doesn’t flinch so Tempest slaps him for real. Tempest rakes Deimos in the back before sending him into the Creeps corner, and Tempest stomps him down before making a tag to Cervantes.
The two Creeps make a series of rapid tags, keeping Deimos isolated from his partner and working him over. Monty delivers a high knee in the corner, and shoves Deimos towards the center of the ring. He runs past Deimos and ascends the ropes, flipping back for Lament for a Toy Factory, but Deimos dives out of the way towards his corner, making a tag to Holden.
Holden rushes into the ring and unleashes a series of Labokkatao strikes. Tempest starts to come into the ring, but Holden quickly backs away and points him back to the corner, refusing to do a mainstream hot tag spot. Tempest, amused, returns to his corner. Holden turns his attention back to Monty, who attempts to catch him by surprise with a spinning back fist, but Holden ducks under it. Holden attempts to retaliate with Black, but Monty narrowly evades it.
Holden whips Monty towards the corner, only for Monty to turn it into a Carousel Kick. Holden narrowly dodges it, but rather than take advantage of the opening, he points back towards the corner and applauds Cervantes for his unorthodox offense. Monty glances towards the corner before nodding in agreement, and the two calmly converse for a moment before Holden slaps him in the face, and Holden gives a thumbs up to his partner.
Deimos wants back in, and Holden headlocks Monty and walks him towards the corner, making a tag and holding Cervantes in place as Deimos comes in and they deliver a double suplex. Deimos covers, but Tempest breaks up the cover.
Deimos and Cervantes both get back to their feet, Monty attempting an overhead chop, but Deimos blocks it and retaliates with a chop to the chest. Deimos goes for the Numbing, but Cervantes elbows him away. Monty whips Deimos towards his own corner, but Deimos runs up the turnbuckle and leaps back with the Fainting, only for Cervantes to run underneath him and slip out of the ring by the corner, slinging around it for the Carousel Kick onto Holden on the apron! Holden tumbles to ringside as Cervantes slingshots over the ropes back into the ring for the STL on Deimos! Tempest ensures that Holden stays down at ringside as Monty covers Deimos and gets the three!
Winners: Montague Cervantes and Tempest
Time: 10:28
Tempest comes into the ring and has his arm raised alongside Cervantes, as commentary speculates what will happen in two weeks when both keyholders are in the Keys to the Kingdom Match!
