Good job, THQ. You know just how to make my finisher feel like it's worth something. "AND TRAVIS HITS SKINNY WITH THE FORTY FIFTH CONSECUTIVE WHITE OUT! THIS 25 MINUTE MATCH HAS BEEN NOTHING BUT WHITE OUTS! THE PINFALL, 1, ANOTHER KICK OUT! THIS CROWD CAN'T BELIEVE IT!"

LOL. Yeah, it's a bit pathetic at times. Skinny has an awesome created finisher, though. Kicks em in the janglies five times, then into a roll up pin. BOO YAH!
20/10/2010 The day open mindedness returned to UGWC. Lest we forget.

Background
Hastings was irritated with Roberts that he had not taken care of Somers during the tournament. Roberts assured his ally that Somers would not make it to Infinity. The two men both faced off against Jet in singles competition over the coming weeks and each was there to assist the other, ensuring Jet lost on both occasions. The week after he challenged them both to a triple threat match. The pair happily agreed, though were not so happy when Somers won the match. Jet had gained the momentum he needed heading into Black Axis to fight for the Global Championship.
Meanwhile, the GM announced the Global Tournament had been such a huge success that they were going to host another! This time it would be for the vacant GIW Tag Team Titles. The GM announced that four teams would compete at Black Axis in a knockout tournament. Three of those teams would be Aragato and Komosube, The Browns and Roberts and Tyvola. The final spot in the tournament was up for the taking. The GM also said the first round would be singles matches, while the final round would be contested as a ladder match.
This led to tension between Komosube and Big B, both proclaiming their teams would be taking the gold. The two fought in a series of singles matches, with Komosube using every dirty trick in the book, from attacking Big B before the match, to using brass knuckles, in order to keep the victories with The Japanese Powerhouse. Big B swore revenge come Black Axis.
Meanwhile, Brandon McSkinny had decided the spot in the tournament would be his and he would be the new Tag Team Champion... as soon as he found a worthy partner! After pleading with Declan, The Darkest Light found McSkinny a truly formidable tag partner - his own brother, Adrian. It remains unclear how exactly Declan convinced Adrian to pair with Skinny, but the two set their sights on tag team gold all the same.
Declan had his own problems, as Chris Austin was constantly interfering in his matches, after Declan declared that Austin’s victory at Infinity was a “fluke”. Austin told Declan he would not stop interfering in The Darkest Light’s matches, until he was given the opportunity to prove his Infinity victory was not a fluke. Declan accepted the challenge by proposing a rematch at Black Axis.
In the Women’s division, Misery set her sights on the Champion, Calypso Desmona. The two were scheduled to face in singles action on Sentinel, but every week, Calypso found a way out of the match. Whether faking an injury or... simply finding someone to take her place, Desmona wanted no part of Misery. However, every replacement challenger Misery faced, she defeated. She then won a triple threat #1 contender match against Chinatsu and Gabrielle to secure her Title match.
Meanwhile, Kiseragi found himself being stalked by an angered Deathman. Deathman claimed Kiseragi never legitimately defeated him and demanded a rematch - with no DQs and no count outs, so Kiseragi could not weasel his way out to a cheap victory. Kiseragi accepted and the two were on a collision course for Black Axis.
Results
Chris Austin vs. Declan Prescott Both men were matched evenly in the beginning of the match, but Prescott slowly crept out ahead, eventually able to dominate anything Austin had to throw at him. After Austin kicked out of a White Light, Prescott went for some extra humiliation and defeated Austin using the Emerald City Eliminator - Austin’s own finishing manoeuvre.
GIW Tag Team Title Tournament Round 1 Saints Of Los Angeles (Adrian Prescott/Brandon McSkinny) vs. The TwiSTeD (Travis Roberts/Tyvola) Adrian and Tyvola started the match off in a big man brawl. Tyvola was too slow to keep up with Adrian and Prescott soon found himself in control. Tyvola managed to tag in Roberts, but he also had no answer for Adrian’s offence. It was at this point that Skinny begged to be tagged in. Adrian reluctantly complied and within seconds, TWiSTeD were in control of the match. Skinny had no answer for Roberts’ offence, apart from connecting with a Stone Cold Stunner... which had basically no effect. Roberts and Tyvola then took turns beating down Skinny until Jet Somers made his presence felt!
Roberts tried to end the match quickly at that point, but between Adrian and Somers, the referee was far too distracted to make the count. Skinny then scored with a hot tag and Adrian blasted his way back into the ring. Roberts barely kicked out of a jack knife power bomb and tagged in Tyvola. Tyvola managed to work Adrian down, before tagging in Roberts again. Roberts connected with the White Out and Skinny was far too damaged to make the save in time. The TWiSTeD were advancing to the final.
GIW Tag Team Title Tournament Round 1 Hiroshima! (Komosube/Aragato) vs. The Browns (Brandon Brown/Big B) The big men started this match off, with Komosube gaining the power advantage over Big B, however slightly. After some back and forth offence from both teams, it was Aragato who was pinned after a superkick from Brandon.
GIW Women’s Championship Calypso Desmona (c) vs. Misery Misery continued her dominance of the competition in this fairly one-sided affair. The challenger overpowered the Champ at every turn and eventually won the match after nailing the Drop In The Pit.
No DQ, No Count Out Alex Kiseragi vs. Lord Deathman Kiseragi managed to stay on top of his larger opponent in the early going, thanks to his speed and sound technical ability, which saw him counter almost everything Deathman had to offer. After the bout spilled to the outside area, Deathman began to dominate as a brawl ensued. He even scored with the Armageddon - twice - but Kiseragi refused to stay down. Kiseragi, now bleeding, worked his way back into the match and even had Deathman on the ropes with a vicious Dragon Sleeper. Deathman came back with a third Armageddon, but Kiseragi managed to get a foot on the ropes. After a Yari Kick, it seemed the Dragon had toppled The General, but Deathman somehow kicked out at two. After another Armageddon from the top rope, Deathman picked up the victory.
GIW Tag Team Title Tournament Final Round The TWiSTeD (Travis Roberts/Tyvola) vs. The Browns (Brandon Brown/Big B) Tyvola and Big B locked up, while Brandon and Roberts exchanged holds in this ladder match. The Browns seemed to have the advantage early on, but Roberts soon grabbed hold of a ladder and The TWiSTeD quickly found themselves in control. Tyvola and Big B soon brawled their way to the outside, while Brandon found a steel chair helpful in evening the odds against Roberts. Brown even managed to get his hands on the belts while the two big men battled at ringside, but Roberts soon pulled him down. Brandon continued to fight on, but after Roberts reversed a brain buster attempt, it seemed The TWiSTeD would be taking the gold. Roberts climbed up the ladder, while Big B and Tyvola finally made their way back into the squared circle. Tyvola and B brawled across the arena, while Brown used all his strength to get up the ladder. At the top he and Roberts exchanged blows. Roberts couldn’t keep the pressure on and found himself tumbling to the canvas after a stiff right fist. Brandon then grabbed the belts to win the match for his team.
Global Heavyweight Championship Falls Count Anywhere Donovan Hastings (c) vs. Jet Somers For the first few minutes, this was a technical contest, with both men exchanging holds and counters. Once Hastings found his opponent gaining a slight edge, The Immortal One grabbed a sledgehammer from under the ring. From here, things deteriorated into a brawl with each men using chairs, tables, sledgehammers, crutches and the ring steps to pulverise the other. After delivering a moonsault onto a bloody and battered Hastings from the top rope, through the announce table, Jet thought he had the victory. The Lord Of Pain, however, refused to stay down. Both men brawled their way back into the ring and the fight continued. Jet eventually scored with a top rope Blackout to become the new Champion.
