I don't care for him now, but you can't take way from Hogan what he has done for the world of wrestling. He brought the business to that next level that we grew up with.
Exactly and one of my biggest issues. I understand there is stuff to work around with guys in the WWE Hall of Fame, legal issues and what not because Vince is a dick. Stick it to him... Get the guys who told him no. Or the guys he doesn't think about. The guys who have free reign of their own name.
Hulk Hogan, Randy Savage, Hector Guerrero, Larry Zbyszko, Sting shouldn't be working a full time schedule anyhow but that's just me.
I think you'll find that Sting's schedule might be cut back a little after that match with Bully Ray. I'd say that I'd be interested in what they do with him after this, but knowing TNA they'll just dick it up with more horseshit booking and writing. Sting does belong in the TNA Hall, as does Angle, but they should wait until both men are retired before they do it.
Call me crazy, but I think a TNA Hall of Fame should evaluate possible inductees purely by what they did in TNA. I also wouldn't induct people that are still working regularly either, but that's just me.
My TNA HoF would eventually include:
Jeff Jarrett (6-Time NWA Champ) Sting (4-Time TNA Champ, 1-Time NWA Champ under TNA banner) A.J. Styles (1-Time TNA Champ, 3-Time NWA Champ) Kurt Angle (5-Time TNA Champ) Ken Shamrock (First ever NWA Champ under TNA banner) Ron Killings (First ever African-American NWA Champ) America's Most Wanted (James Storm and Chris Harris as a team, 6-Time NWA Tag Team Champs) Team 3D (As a team) Gail Kim (1st Knockout Champ, was a centerpiece of Knockouts division when it was highest rated segment of TNA broadcasts) Awesome Kong (For killing bitches dead) Pacman Jones (The CELEBRITY WING!!!!!)
Then you've got Christopher Daniels, Samoa Joe, Chris Sabin all as people who have been integral to TNA over the years.
Of all those people, Jarrett should be in now, you could throw Shamrock in, maybe Kong, AMW, Sting...but the rest should wait
Of the guys you listed, Shamrock should definitely be in now. I think that Killings will eventually be in, but not while he's working for Vince. I always liked the Ron "The Truth" Killings character. I find the characters that he plays in WWE to be amusing but not necessarily that good. That's more due to WWE and their lazy writing and booking than anything else though. I agree with your list of people who should be in (other than Jones, forget that crap, lol).
Jeff Jarrett (6-Time NWA Champ) Sting (4-Time TNA Champ, 1-Time NWA Champ under TNA banner) A.J. Styles (1-Time TNA Champ, 3-Time NWA Champ) Kurt Angle (5-Time TNA Champ) Ken Shamrock (First ever NWA Champ under TNA banner) Ron Killings (First ever African-American NWA Champ) America's Most Wanted (James Storm and Chris Harris as a team, 6-Time NWA Tag Team Champs) Team 3D (As a team) Gail Kim (1st Knockout Champ, was a centerpiece of Knockouts division when it was highest rated segment of TNA broadcasts) Awesome Kong (For killing bitches dead)
1. Jarrett: I've never been a Jarrett fan personally. He bores me. Terribly. He has his moments where he's ok, but most of the time he works better as a cure for insomnia than anything else I've ever used over the counter. He should be in the TNA Hall of Fame in time, but I'm not convinced that he won't put himself over for one more huge run with the TNA strap.
2. Sting: Not retired and shouldn't be in until he is. Other than that caveat, he should be in as he has been a TNA stalwart almost since they started the company. Guys like Ray, Roode and even Jarrett are who they are in the company because Sting has put them over so often. Yes, I know that Jarrett is over partially because he owns the place. The simple fact is that you can put Sting in the ring with anyone and even as an older guy he'll still put in a good match and make or help them look good. Obviously there are guys, like AJ and Angle, who he doesn't have to carry or help look good. The guy can work with anyone though and that's why he's lasted as long as he has.
3. AJ Styles: Styles has officially become that guy who TNA knows they can abuse and mismanage and he'll never go anywhere. This is really, really unfortunate because he is a fantastic athlete who can pretty much carry anyone in any type of match. If Vince had any brains at all and could get over his infatuation with clowns like Big E. Langston, he'd have signed Styles years ago and used him as the cornerstone to a Light Heavyweight division, or even more intelligently, along with guys like Misterio to help get rid of the myth that small guys can't hang with the big ones.
4. Kurt Angle: See Sting.
5. Ken Shamrock: This guy was a great choice as the first Champion as he was a legit bad ass back then and gave the belt and the company instant credibility. He should be inducted after Angle (at least under the current set up).
6. Ron Killings: See what I said above.
7. AMW: They should and I expect will go in once Storm is no longer a big guy in the company. Harris should be brought back in some capacity, even if they team him with someone else. Or, they could have the Aces and 8's try to recruit him, fail and he ends up aligning with Storm, Gunner, Joe and Magnus as an anti-Aces and 8s Stable, as TNA desperately needs one at this point. AMW will be in, it's just a matter of when. Storm is a shoe in on his own as he's been a big part of two of the biggest tag teams in TNA history with AMW and Beer Money. He could do the same with Gunner, solidifying him as "the" Tag Team specialist in TNA.
8. Team 3D: Duh.
9. Gail Kim: Once she's retired, absolutely.
10. Chris Sabin: He should be in once he's retired, right along with Shelly. He's a great tag team and singles guy and can carry either division.
11. Alex Shelly: See Sabin. The Motor City Machine Guns are one of the most successful teams in TNA history and Shelly is a great singles competitor in his own right.
12. Kazarian: Much like Sabin and Shelly, this guy is just a great wrestler. He's really great when teamed with Christopher Daniels in "Bad Influence" as the two play brilliantly off of each other.
13. Christopher Daniels: See Kazarian.
14. Samoa Joe: Say what you want about the guy, but the TNA fans love him and he's always been a legit talent with them. In spite of his doughy physique, the guy can wrestle. It's too bad that they never had a Takeshi Morishima to pair him against in TNA as that was one hell of a feud. If TNA has any brains (which I often doubt) they'd put him front and center against "Aces and 8s" because based on crowd reaction, I'm sure that's what the TNA fans want to see.
I think that Christian would have been there had he stayed in TNA instead of returning to WWE where he once again disappeared into obscurity.

As a WVU fan, I second the notion of putting Pacman Jones in the celebrity wing. Make it rain up in that bitch!
