So... who has tattoos and what are they? Any special meanings behind them? I for one love tattoos. So share away peeps!
Me- I currently have 5 and planning on many more.
My first one I got when I was 18 is a red-haired fairy sitting in a crescent moon. It's between my shoulder blades. No special story, I just liked it.
Second is towards the lower middle of my back along my spine and it's the letters TRU in old english. I get asked alot about that one. Me and 3 of my really good guy friends all got that tattoo done. At the time it was just a show of loyalty between us and a bit of fun. It means more now since one of them is no longer with us.
Then I have a waterlily with my daughter's name underneath it on the small of my back.
I have a flaming shamrock on my left breast. Story behind that one: it's covering a stupid mistake. I got my b/f at the time's name tattooed on me. Luckily it wasn't very big and was easy to cover. Can't even tell anymore. Now the only names that go on me are for my kids.
My newest one is a voodoo doll on my left foot.
Eventually I would like to get the palmetto moon (symbol for South Carolina) on my right foot and when I graduate in December I'll have a pinup nurse on my left shoulderblade.
I have a lot of ideas I want, but not enough money. Gah. It sucks. So spill.

My first is this dumb-ass clown kinda face that I drew. One half of his face has a tribal design, and the other has a bunch of thumbtacks in the forehead, with blood running down. It was just some dumb doodle that I got talked into getting, on my right bicep. I'm pretty ashamed of it, but at least it's not a fucked-up vagina snake.
The second is a cartoony crouching sci-fi chick, with skin-tight outfit and laser guns. I picked it off the wall. It's pretty good B&W work, but is completely meaningless and pretty silly. She lives on my left arm at the shoulder.
My third is a customized Dope logo, that tribal face thing. I put the name in there and modified the "nose" area a bit. It's on the outside of my right calf and somehow is the one tattoo that most people never notice until they've known me for awhile, even though I wear shorts most of the time.
I had a really good time at a Drowning Pool show with some friends quite a few years ago, and commemorated the occasion with a logo on my left forearm right by the elbow. It's made to look like it was reverse stenciled with droplets of blood. I think it's pretty cool, but it's lost a lot of the appeal now that they're pretty much a garbage band.
There's Rage Against the Machine lyrics on both of my forearms, lowercase kind of old English type letters. The right says "born of a broken man" and the left says "never a broken man." No, I do not hate my father. I just really like the song and it's a reminder not to let the world beat me down.
Finally, there's a Cowboys From Hell logo on my right forearm near the inner elbow, just below the area where you'd get an IV or junkies might shoot up. It's black with red outline, and was intended to look like a fresh brand. Kind of fit with the cowboy theme, I thought. A friend and former co-worker was supposed to get one to match, but it's pretty terrible work, so I don't blame him for backing out. I keep meaning to get it fixed, but to be honest it's in a bad spot so it's gonna hurt like a motherfucker. Also, I'm broke.
In the future, in addition to getting the ones I already have fixed up, I want to get a lot more. I've got an idea for one of Dave "Stage" Williams (the original vocalist for Drowning Pool, who died of heart failure in 2002) Dimebag Darrell (I certainly hope you motherfuckers know who he is,) jamming together. I also want to represent my all-time favorite band Metallica, but I think I've overdone it with logos. I think putting Doris on me would be a good way to do it. I'm also toying with the Hammer of Justice from the back of several t-shirts from back in that era, where it had their faces in the hammer, and the fist holding it had HATE on the knuckles. I think that'd be pretty sick. I also wanna rep the home town, so I might get the word ORLANDO with the star for the A, from the Orlando Magic logo. I might get the basketball trailing stars from the original logo instead, though. Still not sure.

So far I have just the two but my arms are already drawn up.
1- My first was an original design that takes up most of my inner forearm on the right it's a sacred heart wraped in thorns with a skull forming the lower half of the heart the tribal dove in the flames out the top.
2- The other is a traced image of the tat on my fathers's arm of classic cartoon char "Hot Stuff" the devil, it was his nick name in the navy after punching an officer in the face for making fun of southerners. He got the ink done my legendary tattoo artist Sailor Eddie.
