As the third UGWC Hall of Fame class, three individuals have been selected for induction based upon their contributions and impact not only upon UGWC, but also for their greater impact on the industry as a whole.
Representing the Radical American Wrestling Federation, the Hall of Fame inducts Dirge. Debuting in ICW in 1995, the Greater Evil has a grand legacy that includes a lengthy list of championships in a number of independent promotions. He won his first world title in RAWF and it was there that he founded The Elite Establishment. Perhaps best remembered as a member of the Covenant, Dirge had a hand in the creation of UGWC itself when he orchestrated the destruction of Global Impact Wrestling, and main evented its final broadcast. Dirge went on to hold multiple championships in UGWC, and competed for the World Heavyweight Title in his final match before walking with his family off into the sunset. UGWC welcomes Dirge into the Hall of Fame.
Representing the Lock Wrestling Federation, the Hall of Fame inducts Robert Ooley. Debuting in LWF on its very first broadcast in 2001, Ooley made immediate impact as he feuded with the promotion’s owner, Lock himself. It wasn’t long before Ooley defeated Lock to become the Commissioner of the promotion, only to reveal weeks later the two had been in cahoots the entire time, and these two Puppet Masters led a Regime that dominated LWF for years, holding the Tag Team Championship together on multiple occasions, with Ooley even holding the World Title itself for a time, defeating Arelas in the historic Napoleon’s Revenge match. Although he retired from regular competition in 2004, after the LWF-GIW merger that formed UGWC, Ooley would be revealed as part of the Consortium that organized and executed the merger, with Ooley being appointed the Director of Human Resources, going on to have a continual impact, including leading the Human Resources Department in 2011 and his on-going rulings. UGWC welcomes Robert Ooley into the Hall of Fame.
Representing the Unified Global Wrestling Coalition, the Hall of Fame inducts Tyvola. Debuting in UGWC in 2010, Tyvola would have an immediate impact when he teamed with Travis Roberts to become the first ever Cooperative Champions at No Holds Barred: Adapt or Die, when they defeated three other teams in a Prison Break match. In 2011, Tyvola would win the World Heavyweight Championship and go on to have what remains to date the longest reign in the history of the championship, capped of by two successful defenses on the same night at Horizons. Tyvola would vacate the championship when he disappeared after Horizons, making him the only person to compete in a match for the title and never be defeated for it. UGWC welcomes Tyvola into the Hall of Fame.
