The Staff of UGWC: Chill
He's a 19 year veteran of both the ring and the head office in various promotions. Retired at Horizons 2017 at the hands of Gabriel Baal. An incorrigible chain smoker, Ichabod seldom loses his temper, and doesn't favor either side of the face/heel coin. He recognizes talent and potential in equal measure, and his decisions are made on a whim. He believes there's a big picture, and everything serves it one way or another. There's always a destination, and the best way to get there is the most convoluted and chaotic way possible. Donovan Hastings doesn't remember hiring him to helm Chill, but there it is.
Dexter Vines: The General Manager of Chill.
Dexter was the Sports Entertainment Executive of UGWC for nine years until Donovan Hastings usurped the position and reassigned him to the newly vacant position of GM for the Chill brand. Though despondent and bitter about it, Dexter has overseen exciting new elements of Chill, including non-traditional elements and the inclusion of independent associations such as Supreme Jersey Wrestling.
Aaron Reese: Play-by-Play Announcer. Aaron Reese was born and raised in New York City, and lives there when he's not on the road. Formally employed by Pure Pain Wrestling, Reese is highly intelligent, very articulate and a Grade-A smart ass. He's not afraid of anyone, and less afraid about telling everyone his opinion. He always calls matches evenly, citing a good move for what it is, whether executed by a fan favorite or a heel. He will acknowledge cheating as cheating, but will admit that things like that make sense or are critical to turning match momentum. He won't let any broadcast partner or anyone else bully him. He gives it as well (and better) than most.
Daniel Hanson: Color Commentator. The former color commentator of Global Impact Wrestling, Hanson is a slick, young man, who likes to have fun, but still takes his job very seriously. He respects wrestlers who do whatever they can to win. He grew up in Las Vegas and sought a wrestling career that was tragically cut short after a poorly executed dropkick, which broke Hanson's neck. Hanson hasn't wrestled since, and still has a bit of a chip on his shoulder about it.
'The Drunken Buzzsaw' Chaos: Off-Color Commentator. Father. Brother. Rocker of Xandy's world. Vice President of the Devil's Most Wanted MC. Former wrestler with various promotions over the last 20 years, most recently competed as an active wrestler in UGWC. Multi-time Cooperative Champion with Cypress Morgan, Jezebel Saint, and Jet Somers. Still the longest-reigning Chaos Champion in UGWC history. Former Tag and PDA Champion in OWF. Retired at the hands of Rogan MacLean at Horizons X (December 2016). Since his retirement, he's remained mostly out of the spotlight, having been seen only at a couple of events, as he has enjoyed spending time with his family (Xandy, Hay-Hay, the club, et al). Was asked by Donovan Hastings if he wanted to do something with his time besides drink and fornicate. Likely drunk when Hastings asked him, so he apparently said yes.
Chris Collins: Backstage Interviewer. Chris Collins is, in his words, a "wrestling historian with a photographic memory so sharp it even scares me sometimes." Previous employed by Pure Pain Wrestling, Collins uses his encyclopedic knowledge of wrestling history to stay in touch with fans, higher management, and most importantly the wrestlers themselves. As On-Site Interviewer, it is up to Collins to personally meet interview requests taking place outside the confines of a Chill arena. In that regard, he has literally been almost everywhere and seen almost everything. Although a dedicated bookworm, Chris Collins is also a man of decency and never hesitates to call into question any questionable aspects or events surrounding the wrestlers he interviews. This interesting attribute has led to more harsh glares than he can count, and even a few instances of physical violence. Collins is one of those wrestling purists with a heart bigger than his brain: he'll never hesitate and sometimes deliberately goes into an interview to ask the tough questions, but in the end he's a small man with a big brain.
Jason Reeves: Backstage Interviewer. Pulling double-duty on both Chill and Synergy, Jason Reeves is what the kind call 'dedicated' and the rest call 'creepy'. He is determined to gain the latest scoop at whatever cost. Because of this, his criminal record is plagued with charges of stalking and he's found himself on the wrong end of a beat down numerous times. This has not deterred him and he strives diligently to 'out-interview' his colleagues at all times. He comes from Missouri and spends his free time... well, he spends all his time looking for interviews.
Craig White: Head Referee of Chill. Employed in the past as the Head Referee of the Lock Wrestling Federation, White has agreed to come out of retirement as the Chill schedule suits his need for part-time work. Following Glenn Burke being restored to Head Referee of Synergy by Ichabod, Craig White was promoted to Head Referee of Chill.
Alice Nasmith: Referee. Just breaking into the business, this represents a huge opportunity for this young newcomer.
Sebastian Kane: Referee. Sebastian was in training to be a wrestler and was in line for an opportunity on Synergy, but asked too many annoying questions and Robert Ooley tore up his contract and wiped his ass with it. Dexter Vines gave the youngster a second chance at the industry, recognizing that his prior experience managing a Bojangles made him ideal to oversee the Chickenwing Eating division, and he debuted as a referee in 2019.
Mark Thompson: Ring Announcer. A veteran voice of the Squared Circle, announcer Mark Thompson has previously been employed by Pure Pain Wrestling. He has seen it all: fantastic characters, unforgettable title matches, unheard-of stipulations that would redefine the industry for years to come. With his years of loyalty and a booming voice that belies his small frame, Thompson has all but become synonymous with unforgettable moments.
