Blobasaurus meekly pops his head up over the edge of the bed. The sight of her in the flesh, her scent, the photo, its consumed him now. All he can do is stare at her as he realises why he’s so obsessed with her… [/b]“Gabby…it…its you, its really you.”
Gabrielle stares back in a mixture of shock, fear, anger…and then a sudden realisation. She unclenches her fists, her expression softens, and a tear rolls down her cheek. Can it really be?

The first night Gabrielle Montgomery and Jack Severino had spent together in years and years was a simple, and quiet one. They hadn’t really talked, neither one of them could think of what to say or even really do. So they’d just laid in Gabrielle’s bed in each other’s arms and slept the best sleep either of them have had in a long time. The next morning was much the same, neither one of them quite knowing what to say. But it wasn’t really awkward, they were just happy to be together again. And there was this feeling that anything could break this “spell”, what if this happy reunion wasn’t real?
Afterall last Gabrielle knew Jack was comatose in a Hospital bed for the last several years.
Yet now he’s here…back by her side again, completing her, filling an emptiness inside her that nothing else had filled. They cant take their eyes off of one another. They cant stop smiling, but still they barely speak, they just enjoy the silence, the warmth, the bliss.
~~~~~~~~~~
Howard Severino: Where the hell could he be? Jacks never disappeared on us like this.
Melina Severino: I don’t know, I have no idea. What do we do now?
The old married couple fall silent for a few moments. Their son, their grown and not quite all there mentally son has disappeared for the night. So unlike him, all he did was spend time in his room, or spend time at his job at the ------. So where could he possibly be?
Howard Severino: How do we handle this? We do anything to look for him and Gabrielle will find out and then how do we explain this?
Melina Severino: It was what was right, we did what was right for them, and us.
Silence again, for much longer this time until a knock at the front door and then said door swinging open drags Melina and Howard out of their own heads. And in walks hand in hand Gabrielle and their son Jack, though he looks different than he has in a long time now. His parents look like they’ve seen a ghost, unsure of what to say or how to explain this. Does Gabrielle know Jack has been out of his coma for a year now? Does she know that so often when she was here visiting them recently, he was right upstairs?
Howard Severino: …
Melina Severino: J-Jack…Gabby…
Howard Severino: …
Melina Severino: You…you…
Gabrielle smiles at Jack, though her expression is a little more stern as she turns towards his parents who both shrink back slightly as they take in a sight they never expected too see again. Jack for his part glances back and forth between his parents and the woman who means the World too him.
Jack: I’ll step away for a moment guys. I have to go see something.
Jack lumbers his way up the stairs to his room. His increased girth a massive change from the Jack Severino with the body of a Greek God that the UGWC audience once knew. Gabrielle meanwhile fixes her gaze on his parents.
Gabrielle: How long?
Howard Severino: We thought this was best for you both.
Gabrielle: How long?
Melina Severino: He wasn’t the Jack we all knew.
Gabrielle: How long, tell me.
Melina Severino: A little over a year.
A look of betrayal and hurt crosses Gabrielle’s face as she glares at her formerly future parents in law.
Howard Severino: You don’t understand, Jack wasn’t Jack, he isn’t Jack anymore. He came out of that coma and he remembered nothing. He didn’t remember us, he didn’t remember you. We didn’t think it was right to put you through that.
Melina Severino: Maybe if you still visited him in the Hospital you’d have known.
Melina is instantly remorseful and Gabrielle looks hurt, but there’s nothing she can say. She did after all stop visiting Jack in the Hospital, no longer able to face him in his comatose state.
Melina Severino: I’m sorry, I didn’t mean it.
Gabrielle: It’s okay, I understand.
Howard Severino: We all did what we thought was best to move on.
Melina Severino: Did it hurt when Jack didn’t remember you?
Gabrielle: But he did remember me…he remembers everything. I think seeing me again brought everything back.
All the tension and unease evaporate from the room as the trio just take a moment to enjoy what has happened, what has changed. Jack Severino may have awoken from his coma as a broken man, unable to remember who he was, barely able to function in fact. The doctors said he had the mental age of a child now, and was unlikely to ever recover due to the massive brain damage. But maybe seeing Gabrielle, the love of his life had brought it all back to him.
Jack sits alone in his bedroom looking around at all the four walls all around himself. Walls covered in images of Gabrielle, posters, printouts, UGWC promotional pics, screen grabs of her work in the adult entertainment industry. And it truly dawns on him what he had become, who had been, all the time he’d spent up her obsessed with her, plotting out how he could approach her, find her…stalk her.
There’s a click behind him as the door is closed and in steps Gabrielle who is taken quite aback by all the images of herself plastered everywhere. A few tears roll down Jacks cheeks before Gabrielle sits beside him and squeezes his hand firmly.
Jack: What did I become?
Gabrielle: You’re still the man I love Jack. This…this wasn’t you.
Gabrielle and Jack Severino step inside a Chicken Processing Plant, but not just any Plant but the one where Jack has worked for the last few months. It was a simple job, even a brain damaged mind child like he’d been reduced too could stand beside a conveyor belt and watch.
Gabrielle: You really worked here? Because I don’t know if I want to see this.
Jack: Please…I-I need to show you off. I worked here with so many assholes who delighted In treating me like shit. I want them too see you.
Gabrielle: Just…I don’t have to see any chicken’s being killed do I?
Jack: I promise you wont have too.
Jack leads her down a hallway and into an office where a particularly smug, typically douche looking man sits. His face lighting up as he spots his favourite verbal punching bag.
Douche: Jack, where have you been? You’re late for your shift idiot. What’s the matter did you forget you have a job standing over there like a big retard?
He pauses as he spots Gabrielle standing beside Jack.
Douche: Wit who’s this? Gotta be your sister, or some kind of charity worker right. Babe forget this loser, come over here to a real man alright. Wait…wait…I know you…I just didn’t recognise you without 5 dicks in you at once. You’re that pornstar right? Gabrielle! I’m a big fan of yours…big, BIG fan.
Gabrielle looks at him with disgust, as Jack just smirks and then lashes out wrapping a hand around his douchebag bosses throat tightly. Douche struggles but Jack is a large, large individual especially now and there’s little he can do to stop Jack from choking him with one massive hand.
Jack: You don’t talk to her like that, and you don’t talk to me like that. Understand. I could end you, I could break you in half…and no one would miss you.
Jack smirks as Gabrielle then steps in, just the sight of her in his vision enough to make Jack shove his boss aside and turn all his attention to Gabrielle.
Jack: Sorry, I just…he shouldn’t have said that about you.
Gabrielle: Its okay Jack, we have a lot to talk about though don’t we…maybe seeing as we’re here conveniently enough we should talk about something easier, simpler to start with. I don’t know how to talk to you about everything else.
So…I’m in a chicken wing eating contest this week. Something different. It should be fun.
Jack just smiles a she looks down at Gabrielle adoringly.
Jack: You’ll do great babe, whatever you set your mind too, you’ve always excelled at.
Douche: Yeah that whore loves meat doesn’t she.
Jack and Gabrielle both just ignore Jacks douche boss still laid out on the floor and walk away hand in hand.
Gabrielle: My works cut out for me though, last time the guy I’m facing, The Generic Heel ate more chicken wings than I’ve ever seen in my life
Jack: You’ll be great at it, you know it.
Gabrielle stares back in a mixture of shock, fear, anger…and then a sudden realisation. She unclenches her fists, her expression softens, and a tear rolls down her cheek. Can it really be?
