Vinegar: Welcome wrestling fans to what promises to be a really-
Hanson: Bad show.
Vinegar: Bad? How can you say that?
Hanson: Well we’ve only got three matches booked for a start.
Vinegar: It’s quality over quantity.
Hanson: And we’re expecting mic time for Tim Kingsley.
Vinegar: Give him a chance.
Hanson: And I just have a bad feeling.
Vinegar: Guilt?
Hanson: Not today.
Vinegar: Shame.
Hanson: I’ve had more.
Vinegar: Well I guess we’ll have to see.
Dennis: The following contest is scheduled for one fall!
‘In Time’
The arena blacks out all lights except the ones over the entrance ramp, ring, and the first five rows or so. As Mark Collie begins his haunting ballad "In Time," the image of a dimly lit hallway which could be in any arena appears on the screen. A silhouette resembling Jet Somers appears in the distance of the hallway, walking toward the screen. As the first verse plays out, he marches resolutely to full size on the screen, and as the last line is spoken, 'In time, your time will be no more...,' the silhouette has filled the dark hall, and the vertical control suddenly flips out as Nonpoint's "Everybody Down" hits hard and Jet runs out from behind the curtain. He runs to the edge of the stage and pumps his fist in the air a few times.
Dennis: Introducing first, from Deep Creek, Mississippi. Weighing in at 185lbs! Jet Someeeeers!!!
At 'And when I stomp you' Jet sprints down the ramp, slapping hands in the crowd as he goes, running to leap onto the apron of the ring. He grabs the rope with one hand and pumps the other fist in the air on each 'Everybody Down!' chant of the chorus. Jet finally steps in, bouncing on the balls of his feet and throwing shadow punches to warm up.
‘Hells Bells’
The lights dim with each tolling of the bell as well as any other speakers save for the music and the commentators mics. As the Guitar starts up a spot light goes to the entrance...with no one there. Continues..spot light searches the ring. No one. From the audience themselves he arises, towering over the local ring side attendees. Jumping the railing he fights his way to the ring.
Dennis: And the opponent! From The Devil’s Basin. Weighing in at 287lbs! Exiiiiile!!!
Exile dives into the ring and bell goes.
Ding! Ding!
Vinegar: Here we go!
The match starts with Exile taking control, charging Jet as soon as he gets into the ring. Early forearm strikes rock Jet back into the corner where Exile opens up with some knife edge chops. He whips Jet across the ring and hits him with a clothesline. Jet slumps to the ground where Exile applies a foot choke. Hazel East forces him to break the hold at 4.
Exile drags Jet out and hits him with a body slam followed up by some hard stomps to the body, finished with an elbow drop. Exile makes the cover but only gets a one count.
As Exile drags Jet back to his feet, Somers fights back. Hard hooks to the body break Exiles grip and Jet stands up. He quickly knocks Exile down with a punch combo and Hazel East warns him for the closed fist shots. With Exile down though Jet follows up with some hard knee strikes to the body.
Jet locks in a bow and arrow lock and keeps it in tight. Exile refuses to tap out though and Jet eventually releases the hold. As Exile tries to get back to his feet Jet comes back with an Anaconda choke. This time however Exile gets to the ropes.
Jet pulls him away and into the centre of the ring where he attempts a spinning back fist which Exile is able to duck. He counters with a jawbreaker which staggers Somers. Exile follows up with a fall away slam and attempts another cover. This time he gets a 2 count.
Exile drags Jet back to the corner and beats him ‘Foot to Ass Style’. He then backs up and charges in with a running low knee. Jet seems to be on dream street so Exile hefts him onto his back, looking for the Golgotha. Jet recovers though and flips back onto his feet in front of Exile and knocks him down with a Kao Loi. Jet goes up to the top rope himself and connects with a diving fist drop. He covers for a two count.
Jet pulls Exile back up and Irish whips him across the ring. Exile slides under the bottom rope to the outside. Clearly hurt, Exile takes a chair from ringside and slides back into the ring. Hazel East tries to stop him but Exile intimidates her enough to make her back off.
Exile swings at Jet but he ducks it. Jet rolls under four attempted chair shots. A frustrated Exile takes a fifth desperate swing. Jet bobs under it and comes up with a powerful left hook that spins Exile around on his feet and forces him to drop the chair. The Wild Card takes his chance and locks in a rear naked choke, falling onto his back to locks his legs in too.
Exile soon passes out.
Ding! Ding!
Dennis: Here is your winner! Jet Someeeeers!!!
Vinegar: See, that wasn’t so bad was it?
Hanson: Not up to me to say.
