This match is really short. Both men come out and lock up. Thornfield gets the dominant position and whips Blade around with throws and whips him around the corners like a ping pong ball. Blade hits the fourth corner and bounces explosively from it going for his flying shoulder tackle. Thornfield leaps out of the way, sending Blade crashing shoulder first into the corner. He stands back up and steps into the “Mindbreaker.” Thornfield goes into an insulting cover, only for Blade to kick out at two. Thornfield pulls Blade up and ends up being hoisted up and slammed down with Blade’s still as-of-yet-unnamed finisher. Blade goes for the pin, but Thornfield kicks out. Blade goes for a second yet-as-unnamed finisher, but Thornfield slips down his back and leaves a John Blade face impression on the canvas with a second “Mindbreaker.” He finishes the match with “Percival’s Gambit.”
Winner: Gideon Thornfield

In the ring, Matt Knox is here to address recent events.
Phrixus lunges in with a dropkick followed by a Northern Lights suplex. Lucy slips out of a belly-to-back suplex attempt and locks in an octopus hold. Deimos wriggles free. She continues her assault with a spinning heel kick, and is looking for a follow up with a superkick—that Phrixus narrowly dodges.
Phrixus seizes Lucy, hitting her with a fireman's carry and a tornado DDT. He attempts a Meteor Press, but Lucy rolls out of the way just in time. Wylde takes the opportunity, hitting Phrixus with a Mindblow. That nearly gets the three, but Fear kicks out!
Phrixus rallies with a headscissors takedown, catching Lucy off guard. She starts to stir quickly, but Fear hits her with a low dropkick. He hits Fainting and covers for a two count before Lucy manages to reach the bottom rope.
Phrixus tries to keep control of the match, launching into a series of suplexes, including some spicy ones like the pumphandle suplex and the tiger suplex. He even gets an exploder suplex! He goes for one too many though, and Lucy counters with Fury Brand, stunning Phrixus before securing a pin for the win.
Winner: Lucy Wylde

Donovan Hastings comes to the ring. He declares that it is Horizons season, and no Horizons is complete without the Donovan Hastings match. Hastings lists off some of the names of people he has beaten at Horizons, including Ezekiel Pax, Cypress Morgan, Lucy Wylde, and Jet Somers. He says it’s time to decide who is getting added to the list this year.
Travis Pierce interrupts, and says it’s about time that Donovan got to him. Hastings scoffs, telling Pierce he’s 0 for 2, going back to last week when he thought Vain would piss away the chance to win the World Title just for a match against him. Pierce tells Hastings that he’s ducked him for over a decade, that Pierce is a former World Champion and was one of the first Grand Slam Champions, something that Hastings has never done, and that in the nearly fourteen years of UGWC they’ve never gone one on one at a Pay-Per-View event, and where better to do it than Horizons?
Hastings relents and says that if Pierce wants to get put on the list, he goes on the list at Horizons, as after all, it was inevitable.
We start in the ring. Konrad has his mace and Jess slides out and comes back with a steel chair. The two engage in a duel, which Jess eventually wins by ducking under a somewhat off-balance flange strike and drives the mangled head of the chair into Konrad’s stomach. Konrad doubles over and Jess hits him on the back with it. Repeatedly. Konrad eventually drops his mace and himself down to one knee. He dares Jess to hit him with, which he does. Square in the face. Konrad screams at him to do it again, so Jess obliges him. Again. Konrad wobbles a little and takes a third chair shot to the head, then a fourth before Jess snaps the mangled headrest of the chair off and fakes a head shot before he changes direction and swings it up, crushing it into Konrad’s chin. Jess throws the mangled headrest into the crowd as Konrad tumbles over onto his back, gushing blood from his head.
Jess goes for the quick cover, but Konrad kicks out. He dashes over to retrieve the mace, but when he goes to use it on its owner, he takes a boot to the happy place. Konrad immediately DDTs Jess onto the mace, which quite frankly looked rather unpleasant. He pulls Jess up and piledrives him onto what’s left of the chair, then pulls a cross piece off and repeatedly spears Jess in the head with it. He kicks the blood from it then whips it out of the ring and Jess into the ringpost. Konrad pulls him up and drops him snake eyes into the turnbuckle. Jess bounces off clutching at his face into a kick to it from Konrad, who follows it with a procession of increasingly vicious stomps and a leaping knee drop to his bloody head.
Soon after two tables are introduced, as is a trashcan of stuff. Konrad grates on Jess’s nerves…and his forehead with a cheesegreater, then punches him in the face with it. He tosses it down and pulls Jess up for a piledriver onto it, but ends up feeling hate for the grate like a…you get the idea. Jess grabs a kendo stick and plays sweet nothings on his Konrad’s back, then wedges it into his mouth and pulls back, wrenching both Konrad’s jaw and neck, then wedges one foot under it, and one foot on the back of Konrad’s head before coming down with a vicious curbstomp that sends Konrad reeling and flopping around the ring clutching at his mouth. Jess pulls out an ironing board, which conveniently for him has an iron. He whacks Konrad in the face with it, knocks him into the corner, sets the ironing board up over him and slams into it with a furious rolling senton. Somehow it’s not broken, and Konrad ends up laying on it across the ropes. Jess runs across the ropes, turns, springs off and ends the board’s usefulness for the task it was created for by putting Konrad through it with a springboard elbow drop. He goes for the pin, but Konrd kicks out at two.
Jess digs through the can o’fun for more goodies, but is suddenly spun around and punched in the throat. As he gasps for air, Konrad pulls up the trashcan (or “bin” for our British friends) and ruins it over Jess’s back before he somehow stuffs it down over Jess’s head and hits it with a ball bat. He pounds on it a few more times where he thinks Jess’s head is, then swings and hits him square at home plate. He climbs to the top and flies off, crashing into the trashcan and Jess with a swanton bomb. He pops up clutching at his back and wedges Jess into the corner, can and all. He leaps off the top for a stomp and connects with the can…and nothing else as Jess somehow manages to wiggle himself out. He falls ass first onto the canvas and eats a running dropkick from Konrad, who follows it up by wrapping barbed wire around his forearm and drives it into Jess’s face. He pulls Jess up and slams him back down onto the mangled trash can with “The Burninator.” He goes for the pin, but only gets a two before Jess kicks out.
Konrad sets up a couple of tables and places Jess on them, but ends up going through the first one, but bouncing off of the second as it doesn’t break. Jess makes sure to break it by slamming Konrad through it. He lines the broken table up next to Konrad’s head and lands the “Shatterpoint Kick.” He sets up a third table and shows impressive height and strength by putting Konrad through it with the “Cherry Bomb.” He goes for the pin but Konrad kicks out again. He finally puts Konrad away by putting him through a fourth table on the outside off of the turnbuckle with “Identity Crisis.”
