It's been speculated backstage for quite some time now that Konrad Raab has thought about temporarily leaving UGWC. After his Conquest title match against Larry Tact, Konrad has taken time away from UGWC as of today. He has stated via a note he left in his locker room for UGWC staff to read that he hasn't been feeling the warmest of welcomes for quite a few months and hasn't felt he deserves to be in UGWC, nor has he been happy there.
Konrad's note also says he's leaving temporarily for two to three months, possibly longer to figure out on changing his behaviour, for the roster to forget about Konrad and for him to give himself a break from UGWC.
He said on the note that he's working for a different company that can help Konrad go through changes he needs to make, so he can give evidence when he returns to UGWC with it in hand that he has changed because nobody on the UGWC roster believes Konrad can change. He's also leaving because he states he's sick and tired of the pleasuring horse, losing matches, the record of losing matches, being a joke and useless wrestler jokes the roster has given him, and Konrad can't put up with it anymore, despite stating he deserves to be trashed.
He stated on the note that he doesn't feel respected and doesn't feel anyone likes him, wants him in UGWC or wants to wrestle Konrad for quite some time. He feels his reputation is broken and needs to find a way to fix it, and UGWC, for Konrad, is not that place. He wrote on the note that he knows he's the cause for the toxicity he caused backstage in and out of the ring. He knows apologies are no longer enough for the roster, and continuing to wrestle in UGWC with so much dislike wrestlers have along with the environment Konrad doesn't feel comfortable in won't help Konrad in the long run, other than to temporarily leave and get his behaviour, his wrestling reputation and win-loss records fixed to do that in another company.
UGWC staff would like to wish Konrad Raab all the best of luck in improving his behaviour and seeking happiness, building his wrestling reputation for him to return as a happier and better man with a few wins and getting the respect he wants and needs, gaining back the reputation for wrestling he's lost.
