Biography:
Ichabod grew up in a middle class family to lawyers. When his parents moved upstate for a better paying position, he rebelled, feeling disgust for having been uprooted. He was closer to other family, though, and was inspired to take out his aggression by wrestling in high school. He was noticed by Steve Parke of Parke Athletic University, and invited to join the wrestling team there. He was given a full scholarship. Parke was a famous trainer for many sports, who's unorthodox ways tended to produce some excellent, if not unorthodox themselves, athletes.
Later, Ichabod trained with Steve Parke himself, who took Ichabod under his wing as his star pupil. Extreme training broke any fear Ichabod may have once had, and built up his confidence and taught him that anything was possible. It took a while, but he eventually learned not to question Parke, no matter what.
Ichabod entered the pro circuit in 2000 with IPWF, with his cousin Wafer and some old childhood friends who had followed their dreams and become wrestlers as well. Ichabod was immediately swept up and spat out by the politics he had never imagined were part of the pro wrestling game. He once again rebelled, and began a long career of tearing down the establishment and rebuilding arenas in his own image.
The domination of the ORS, led by Bigg Wafer angered him and he decided to attack them with a stable of his own. The Revelation originally consisted of Reverend, Ichabod's brother, and Higher Power, an associate. The Revelation made waves, but none so big as the one at Beach Clash, when Reverend and Ichabod joined rAw, and destroyed Bigg Wafer.
It was during his time in IPWF that Ichabod was out partying with his brother and met Selena, a beautiful and dangerous Tejano who would later become his valet.
After winning the Intercontinental Title from Lobster of the ORS, Ichabod had to watch the IPWF fall to differences of opinion in the ranks.
Ichabod's next stint came from RCW where he met his old opponents the ORS, only in different form. He tried in vain to begin a new war with his arch nemesis Bigg Wafer. But Ichabod faced a new challenge in the form of Velocity. Velocity gave Ichabod a hell of a fued, never revealing why he targeted him. The fued ultimately culminated when Velocity joined the ORS and Bigg Wafer helped him destroy Ichabod for a short time.
Ichabod's stardom gave him the gusto needed to join Nuclear Wrestling, where he wrestled for a short time against its top competitors, but never gained the world title.
Ichabod's first World Title finally came in the Real Deal Wrestling, where he served as Vice President. He defeated Tim Gorder and gained his most sought after prize, but also won United States title. Serving as a double champion proved an arduous task, so he lent the title to his new found friend in the Revelation, Wicked D, who, along with his brother Rage, was formerly one of Ichabod's childhood enemies, the Harley Boys. Ichabod also faced his greatest challenge yet, his own brother Reverend.
After four long months of fighting, and losing his world title, Ichabod met Wicked D and Reverend in the ring at Born Again ppv, along with Thugster, Hunter Schultz, and Jade Jeckell. He ultimately turned on Wicked D and rejoined his brother, unveiling his plan of destroying the rival under the guise of partnership. But Wicked got his revenge. Ichabod was out of action for three long months due to a back injury sustained by Tim Gorder and Wicked D.
Ichabod made few appearances during his injury to comment on events that were in motion in the RDW.
Ichabod made his glorious return to professional wrestling in the XCW, where he faced his old enemy Wicked D, and a new challenge, his former and new boss, Chris Conner. Ichabod's life made a complete shift when Conner kidnapped his girlfriend and valet Selena, dropping her from twenty feet in the air inside of a car. After the near death of his beloved Selena, Ichabod went on a rampage, punishing the entire federation. The rage was fueled by contacts from RDW hurling insults at him, trying to lure him back with the promise of great feuds. The events ultimately came to a head when Selena turned on Ichabod herself, blaming him for a tumultuous life that she had not been ready for, but he had more or less dragged her into. The sudden change of life drove him to win the Run of the Mill match, and as another surprise, the one man who stood by to clear up the confusion of enemies for Ichabod was the one and only Bigg Wafer.
Bigg Wafer and Ichabod joined up as a team in WoW, looking for the former turncoat ORS member Justin Payne and their former rival Smoke Dawg. But Bigg Wafer experienced a car accident which put him out of commission for a long time. Ichabod was forced to go at it alone, and even began some historic fueds with names such as Arctic Fox, Mastermind, and Ti Konflict. With the help of his old Revelation trainer Steve Parke, he was finally getting the attention he deserved, and after three months was on his way back to the top.
It was then that Selena reappeared in Ichabod's life, joining the WoW. When Reverend showed up, this time seriously challenging Ichabod, it was too much. Ichabod went insane with the pressure of facing his former love and his brother. He blew up his own condo and disappeared for a long time.
After what seemed like an eternity out of the ring, nine months later, Ichabod returned to WoW with a new beauty at his side, Deidre, and a new mission to punish all the people in the world who didn't understand him. He sent Deidre to train in rDw, and in WOW began his campaign by first destroying Selena, and then her boyfriend Rage. He took his job back as VP in rDw but eventually took over as owner. After winning the world title in WOW, Ichabod took over WOW as owner and closed rDw's doors.
Ichabod took on Justin Payne in a world title match and secured the victory, then retired the title and held an invitational for the coveted gold. His itch for the ring was satisfied when he joined WXW along with Galahad, Phantom, Necron, Brimstone, The Foxes, Anastasia, and a few others to form Broken Halo. Politics ruined that company and Ichabod left due to creative differences.
During this time, a blast from the past, SAM, was able to control Ichabod through a mind altering substance and put him through some very chaotic episodes. Deidre found some of Ichabod's old friends and enemies, including Wicked D, and a stop was put to SAM, but not before SAM had gained the Brutality Championship from Justin Payne and Bigg Wafer and formed his own stable: Forsaken.
Ichabod was still in control of WOW, but it became apparant that he and Darren were in league against a man named Jecht, who turned out to be Smoke Dawg. Smoke Dawg and Bigg Wafer formed the ORS with BPac and Ichabod returned to the ring while Darren reclaimed his company. Ichabod fought a heroic battle at Ring Wars and was able to become the first ever Undisputed Champion.
Ichabod regrouped the Revelation in perhaps its most deadly form and Deidre rejoined him in WOW. It seemed he was back on the road to evil glory when the company suddenly closed due to a huge financial loss. Ichabod had just been named vice president, but sensing a problem with James, his predecessor, Ichabod took off on a much needed vacation with Deidre.
Through a lot of negotiations, Darren was able to secure a contract with Ichy in nWo, and within a few short weeks of opening the doors, gave the fledgling organization to Ichabod, and a new era of Sports Entertainment was born. Opting to go managerial and never wrestle for titles (but still for fun), Ichabod developed one of the most extreme and creative promotions ever seen. Noted for it's off the charts gimmick matches, innovative pay per views, and colorful characters right down to the hilarious Jobber Division, NWO was recognized by wrestling organizations worldwide.
Ichabod has come a long way through the six years of his career, winning multiple titles in multiple companies, from the hardcore title in its various forms, to the top notch federation championships. He's a multiple time world champion.
Ichabod struck gold with WoW/nWo, eventually rising to own the busy and successful company. He turned it around so much that officials from the world famous NWA offered his federation a chance to be featured under their umbrella. Ichabod took the offer, and his roster ran amok, just as he wanted. The NWA never knew what hit them.
Ichabod has built a legacy unlike any other, battling 'demons', legends, and businessmen alike. He has fought and settled disputes the world over, with family, friends, and longtime foes.
In 2003 years ago, HSW was getting off the ground, and Joey Matthew and Ichabod set up a small partnership to trade information and ideas. Both brands benefited, and Ichabod and Matthew became respected friends, even once trying an interfed.
After time, WoW/nWo's light had come and gone, and Ichabod was left without a home company to flourish within. When he found out that his old nemeses, The Mainstreamer and Rashawn TiTan were now working for Matthew, he had to check in on the promotion. What followed was an all inclusive wrestling contract.
Ichabod came into Headstrong Wrestling and helped to form Equilibrium with several like minded wrestlers who didn't buy into the good guy/bad guy rhetoric, but instead felt that a line needed to be walked. It was here that he briefly was introduced to The Covenant before they disappeared. The majority of his tenure in this company was an ongoing battle against The Playaz Club, but eventually Joey Matthew retired and handed the reigns to Jesse Banks, Ichabod, and Wafer.
After breaking the company down to it's basics and rebuilding it, the three were able to promote a very successful company, but jealously drove Matthew to the courts to resecure his company. Just as Ichabod was about to fight for ownership, his longtime friend and cousin Wafer was shot and killed in a tragedy that finally drove Ichabod from the sport for years and years.
Since then, Ichabod had used the connections he had developed while travelling the world to become an international bounty hunter. Times were ideal after 9/11 for terrorists to to bring in a great bounty, and Ichabod worked outside of the law to bring in some of the world's most wanted criminals.
Eventually, the Bush regime was finished, there didn't seem to be as much business, and so Ichabod retired to the abandoned Blackveil II Home for the Tragically Misguided with his surrogate daughter Samantha. He only left from time to time when his contacts clued him in to a rare bounty for which he could hunt.
A couple of years back, The Covenant contacted him for a job concerning Jezebel Saint, and this was how he was introduced to UGWC and Jet Somers. During that time, he felt a kindredship for The Resident Evil, Raenius, but was never able to realize the havoc a friendship would wreak. Before long, he returned to Blackveil.
There he has remained until whispers of that would be friend reached his island home, drawing him out. When one of his contacts, Dirge, reached out to him for a favor owed, he gladly stepped into the ring once more. When The Mainstreamer, one of Ichabod's closest friends, emerged from retirement as Holden Orson, Ichabod was excited to rebuild the dominance the two of them once enjoyed.
Unfortunately, Holden had become very troubled. Working in his own way to reforge their unorthodox friendship, Ichabod supported Holden while challenging him at every turn. This interaction led to the pair eventually joining with Gabriel Baal and Rogan MacLean to form the Engine of Chaos, and faction which has promised to change how the entire business thinks and competes.
