I was honestly looking to WM as the gateway to bring me back into the WWE world. I've been looking into the last few years building into what the guys on this show have been doing, trying to get to know the names and faces and gimmicks, actually find a few that I like and could foresee myself following...
I should have known when they ended Bray vs Cena with "Cena didn't let the monster out! He stayed true!" No the fuck he didn't. He fucking speared one guy through a security barrier and smacked another with a chair mid match! Just because he didn't hit Bray doesn't mean he didn't let the monster out. If they had even questioned it, if just one of them had say 'I'm not so sure Bray will see it that way" when everyone was fellating his integrity, I'd have had some faith in it. But no, he didn't smack Bray with a chair, so he's still Captain fucking America, and then we get the streak ending to Bore Lesnar, so fuck it.

It's disappointing that Undertaker's loss will shut you off to wrestling again. Mania 30 was a great show top to bottom with that match easily being the worst on the show both technically and with how it was written.
Over The Top is a great movie. Fuck anyone who says otherwise.
Bray Wyatt. That should be all that needs to be said. It should become it's own adjective. That guy is so fucking Bray Wyatt. Perhaps a verb. "You're gonna get Bray Wyatt'd"
Cesaro is tits. The swing is pretty impressive when he does it to someone like Khali. I'm still waiting for him to do it to Big Show.

Something I read about the circumstances behind Taker's loss, 1) the Deadman personally picked Lesnar to break the streak in December of last year. No idea why, but there you go. 2) Apparently it was written into Undertaker's contract (and this was a clause that Mark Callaway put into it) that whenever he decided to retire fully, they would break the streak.
Like I said, I've just read this stuff online so I don't know how much stock you can put in it, but it is some food for thought. Make of it what you will.
This is what I said to Rob about the backstage stuff:
You're not annoying. You make valid points... as a smark. But sometimes you want to let go of your smark mind and just enjoy the story. Let go of the backstage behind the scenes stuff we all know about because of who we are. It's a piss poor story. 22 years of Undertaker doesn't deserve to be ended by Lesnar. I'm a guy who roots for the bad guys. I mean, I love Austin and The Rock as much as anyone, but people like Bray Wyatt and Jake the Snake and HHH are the ones who really make these shows for me, when they get into the psychology and make it less about winning and more about getting into the good guy's heads.
Sorry, but Lesnar doesn't do any of that. If someone had taken Taker out and immediately become a huge bad guy, and stood up to it, that guy would have become the greatest Heel ever. I'd have had so much respect for that guy.
Lesnar won't do that. The streak had to end sometime, but it was wasted here.

I've also read the past few days that Taker wanted Lesnar to come back to WWE and beat him back in 2010, and that last year the plan was for Punk to win until Paul Bearer died.
If Taker really wanted it to be Brock specifically who beat him, I'm not a fan of it but it's hard to get upset. It is HIS streak, after all. He deserves to get a say in the matter.
Quitting watching would seem a bit extreme. They've got your money for the next six months. You should probably at least go back and watch the main event lol.
Um... I don't want to be "that" guy... but if Taker wants the streak to end and wants it to end to Brock Lesnar... not a single one of us should have a fucking thing to say about it. He's been doing this for every bit of three decades. I'm sure at some point in the lead up to this match he said "yeah, this is it. I can't do this shit anymore."
Then he got dumped on his head 5 minutes in and was concussed... again... for who knows how many times in his career. What gets me about this loss is that everyone just overlooked Lesnar as a possibility. It was simply the thought of "yeah, when he beats Lesnar, then we get Undertaker/Sting for 23-0... then John Cena for 24-0... then what?"
Shit doesn't go on forever. The man is nearly 50 years old and if you were looking at a nice tight bow on 25-0 for the streak to finish and him to ride off into the sunset, you're a selfish wrestling fan. NOTHING is sacred in wrestling and this proves it. The response they got from the crowd, from the wrestling community and, shit, from the WORLDWIDE response is exactly what they wanted in the first place.
And someone said it best: "Paul Bearer's dead, the streak is dead, and the Ultimate Warrior just died. I'm officially an adult now."

how the hell is that consolation? He can't make the Mania card? He can't be one of the 30 guys in the battle royale but we get to see Khali's overpaid ass?
It's a consolation because I missed him and was very glad to see him on Raw. Would it have been better to have him be a surprise entrant in the battle royale? Sure, but it's RVD so I'm always a glass half full kinda guy.
B, look back through this thread and re-read your own words. You were enjoying the hell out of it and throwing all of that entertainment and enjoyment away because Brock Lesnar won a match is ridiculous.
