For the man known as the Embodiment of Fear, it has been a year much like any other. The fifteen year veteran has remained an elite performer at the highest level as has continued to achieve unprecedented success.
Phrixus Deimos began 2015 by winning the Global Challenge at Infinity, becoming the first person in history to do so twice when he defeated the Natural Born Killer in the finals of the tournament. He continued by winning the Massive Melee for the second time in his career, and did so from the number two entry position.
Deimos would continue to find himself at the heart of UGWC through the year, competing for the World Championship, participating in the first ever Synergy Live House, representing the promotion in the WrestleStock Open. Clashing inside the Battleground.
At Horizons, UGWC’s most enigmatic Entertainment Professional returns to Chicago with an opportunity to reclaim the championship with which he most closely identifies. Fear held the Cross-Hemisphere Title for 199 days from 2003 to 2004, a record that stood for over seven and a half years. He has time and again proven himself to be the measuring stick by which all Cross-Hemisphere Champions are judged.
Yet history has not been kind to Phrixus Deimos on the grand stage of Horizons. For all of his accomplishments, he has never won at UGWC’s flagship event. Will he be able to conquer this demon and climb the ladder to win the championship, or will Jesse Williams prove his worth as the champion? What role Killian King, Holden Orson, and ‘The Monster’ Dredd have to play?
