Fear the reckoning of those you have wronged.

"It seems that both of us provided the other the opportunity of a lifetime. The opportunity to go our separate ways, and carry on long and fruitful careers. It also seems that both of us are just as stubborn as the other."
"But deep down, didn't we both know that all along?"
"There was only one way that this was going to end, Killian. You saw to that when you attacked me at Wrestlestock, and attempted to end my career. As I said on Synergy, you knew I would come for you. You knew that, eventually, I would be well enough to return, and that I would set my sights on you. That I would not stop until I had been vindicated. And still, knowing all of that because of how well you know me, you did what you did… and you did so in front of the entire world."
"Your actions reverberated throughout the entirety of the wrestling industry, leaving thousands of fans worldwide filled with questions. Leaving me with questions, as well. Was the annihilation of 'Sex and Violence' that important to you, Killian? Was my hopeful demise so important to you, that you were willing to risk everything… that you were willing to find yourself in this very position, at this moment in time, in the hope that you could rid the wrestling world of 'Vain' Alan Wallace once and for all?"
"Of course it was worth it for you, Killian King It was something that needed to be done, am I right? It was something that, as Donovan Hastings might say, was inevitable."
"I've known you long enough to know the type of competitor that you are, Killian King. I've known you long enough to know the fame that you seek, and the accolades that you crave. And I've known you long enough to know that you will not stop until you have reached that status. And by targeting the one man that nobody thought you would ever turn your back on, it has thrust your name back into the limelight. It has garnered you the notoriety that you have lusted after more than anything in your career… hell, in your entire life… including the brown liquid that you sip, and the woman you claim to love. Your actions forced the people to once again talk about 'The Gentleman's Savage' Killian King, and it came at a time when, simply, you were mostly known just for being the partner of 'Vain' Alan Wallace."
"I suppose I should say, 'You're Welcome'."
"The thing is, I could have chosen to be the bigger man, and forgiven you for your actions. Or I could have seen the writing on the wall, and chosen to stay retired, ultimately even marrying Celeste, and starting a family, as you said last Monday. And who knows… once all of this culminates, I may still do those things, Kill."
"But first, we fulfill our destiny."
"At Horizons, we tear into each other as nobody has before. We throw everything we have at each other, and let the chips fall where they may. And once the dust settles, nobody involved will ever be the same. Not the fans in attendance; not the announcers calling the action; not your fellow Court members; and not us, Killian. It's fitting, really… my choosing a Valhalla Burial Match so that we can finally settle this, man against man. Because at Horizons, dearest Killian, we are going to bury 'Sex and Violence'. We are going to bury the common bond that we once shared. And we are going to bury the bond of brotherhood that has intertwined us for years. And, just like what happened at Wrestlestock…"
"It's going to break my heart."

"Where are we going, Father?"
The child, maybe five years of age, struggles to keep up with the man in front of him. Older, possibly in his late forties and with a mostly gray beard that hangs to his abdomen, his father navigates the dirt alleyway, a smile on his face as he continues making his way to the beautiful green pasture off in the distance, eager to join in the festivities.
"Ahh Rangvaldr, my son, we must hurry, for we are to witness history."
"Hit-sory, Father? What is that?"
His father begins to laugh as he turns and scoops his son up in his arms. He then turns and continues his journey, as his son clutches his neck, a smile now shining upon his face as well.
"'Tis something that can have many different meanings, my son. Today, it means that we are about to witness something that I never have in all my years. Something that neither I, nor you, my boy, may ever witness again. For Allfather has showered his love upon us, and has sent his son to grace us with his presence, so that our crops may seed well, and that our children will all grow to be strong, and wise. That our lives will prosper, to prepare us for when we dine in the halls of Valhalla."
Seeing how excited his father had become, little Rangvaldr begins laughing as he yells for his father to hurry. Once they reach their destination, a hush falls over the crowd, for the second son of Odin, Baldr, is slowly making his way through the crowd, smiling as he looks down upon those who have come to pay their respects to him.
"Who is he, father?"
"Why that is Baldr, the second son of Odin, our Allfather. He is the god of love, peace, and forgiveness."
"Father, he is very bright, and very handsome. Are all of the gods as handsome as he?"
"No, my son, they are not. Baldr is the fairest of them all. He may very well be the best of the gods, outside of Odin, for he views our people as special. Not all of them are so loving towards us as he."
"I bet everyone loves him, right Father?"
Baldr overhears this as he is walking by. Smiling, he reaches down and tussles the hair of little Rangvaldr, before continuing on his way.
"Yes, my son, he is loved by all. People, gods, even the animals. Everyone and everything loves Baldr, the god of love."
"I like him too, father."
"Yes, and he seemed to have taken a liking to you as well, little Rangvaldr. You have been blessed on this day."
As the two watch Baldr walk off into the distance, little Rangvaldr takes note of the gods feet. He looks to his father.
"Why do his feet look like that, and not like ours, father?"
His father takes note of the pristine condition of Baldr's feet, free of all marks, all scrapes, and all cuts. Quite different from everyone in attendance, as they toil each and every day outside, their feet bearing the brunt of all their hard work.
"'Tis another very special thing about a very special god, little Rangvaldr. You see, Baldr cannot be harmed in any way. Everything on this earth has taken a vow not to harm a god so beautiful, and so special, as Baldr, son of Odin."
A look of astonishment forms on the face of the young child.
"You mean nothing can hurt him, father?"
"'Tis right, my son. Nothing at all."

Dennis: YOUR WINNERS AND NEW UGWC COOPERATIVE CHAMPIONS, THE PIERCING MEDIA NETWORK, ALLLLLLLAN WALLACE AND KILLIAN KINGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG!!!!!
The video on the screen pauses, the camera focused solely on the tandem of Alan Wallace and Killian King.
"That was our first Cooperative Championship win as a team, Killian. On that night three years ago, we reached the pinnacle of the Cooperative division within UGWC. We were the team to beat, and whether we had the belts or not, we were the standard for which all other teams that came after us were judged by."
"Not like it was a surprise to us though, right Killian? As close as we were… as well as each of us knew the other… we knew it was only a matter of time before we strapped those titles around our waists. And we proceeded to add three more reigns over those three years, winning the titles whenever we truly felt like it. And when we weren't busy winning Cooperative gold, it's not like we weren't excelling in singles competition."
"Three World Title reigns, three Cross-Hemisphere reigns, and two Chaos Title reigns combined… to go along with our four Cooperative Championship reigns… in three years time. Hell, you even became a Grand Slam champion in less than one full calendar year… a feat that is damned impressive. Add that to the record setting year that I had in 2015, and the two of us, arguably, are two of the most important people in this entire industry."
"We could, and did, do everything we set out to do, Killian. And had a great time through it all."
"We likely would have gone down as the greatest pairing in the history of this sport. 'Sex & Violence' would have been synonymous with greatness for all of eternity."
"And yet you broke my heart, Killian King."
The television flickers off, as the scene fades.

"What is the meaning of this?! Do you not know who I am?!"
Movement off in the distance. He strains his eyes to see, confusion setting in once he realizes who it is that is in front of him.
"Surely you know where it is that you stand. Surely you know why?"
"No, this cannot be. It is impossible!"
She snickers at his response, as she strides towards her throne, taking a seat and looking down upon her visitor.
"Is your arrogance so great, that you felt this was an impossibility?"
"'Tis not arrogance, but fact. There is nothing that is capable of harming me, you vile hauntress."
She laughs, first slowly, before picking up in tempo. Her laughter echoes throughout the area, haunting, yet seductive.
"I bet you wonder how this came to pass, yes, oh divine one? Or, at the very least, the 'who' behind it?"
He thinks for many moments, the realization finally hitting him."
"Loki…"
She smiles. He steps towards her.
"But why? And how?"
She dismisses him with a wave of her hand.
"The why is unimportant, Baldr. The how? Well that, simply put, was due to the arrogance your own mother showed, when she forced everything on Earth to vow not to harm her precious Baldr. Poor Frigg… thinking that she could halt something truly inevitable."
"But what of my wife, Nanna? And my son, Forseti?"
She quickly stands, a fire beginning to burn in her eyes.
"You should not bother with worrying about that which is inconsequential, Baldr. For you should be getting ready."
"Ready for what, might I ask?"
She walks up to him, staring him directly in the eyes, smiling as the great light that had been surrounding him begins to grow dim, turning an ashen gray.
"Why the great feast, Baldr. Your official welcome…"
She turns and begins to walk away, as multiple guards appear behind of Baldr. Without looking back, she says one last thing that horrifies him.
"Your official welcome to Hel."
============================================
"I wanted to call it quits. I probably should have."
"I was in hell. Physically… mentally… emotionally. I couldn't quite wrap my head around what had happened. I couldn't grasp what had transpired… what had been done to me by someone I considered a brother."
"I had been on top of the world. We had been on top of the world. And in the span of mere minutes, my entire world had been brought crashing down upon me. And quite simply… I never saw it coming."
"My intellect had always been the most important aspect of my success and longevity in this industry. I was so untrusting over the years, so jaded with the business and wrought with suspicion, I had even attempted to destroy the one person that had cared for me more than any other… that had loved me as truly and as deeply as any one person has ever loved another. And as horrible as that way, that mental state had always done me well. Because if you do not trust anyone, no one will ever be able to pull the proverbial wool over your eyes. There would never be any disappointment… any surprises… anything to occur that would cause doubt."
"And then Killian King came back into my life."
"All that I knew of the man, I knew that he was the one person in this world that I could trust implicitly, and completely. Everyone knows that this industry is rife with snakes… filled with people only looking out for themselves. People that would do whatever it takes, to ensure they would come out on top. Hell, I was one of those people."
"Then again, I never asked a single soul to trust anything that I said or did. Not even Celeste. But with Killian, it was different…"
"I never had any siblings; only well-to-do parents that were off living lavishly, leaving me to whatever plethora of helping hands they hired to run the household, and raise their son. So when I met Killian, I met the brother that I never had; I met the family that I had always wished I had; I met the one person that I knew I could trust, in a world filled with hatred and deceit."
"And a decade and a half later, he proved that he was just as untrustworthy, and just as conniving, as anyone else that I have ever come into contact with. And it shattered me."
"Do you know what it is like to wake up and feel like you have nobody? To wake up and wonder what's the fucking point of going on? Yes, I had Celeste back in my life, and I had Simon looking after me, but I was still hopeless. I was still heartbroken. I was still lost."
"My own brother had turned his back on me, and it is something I never even gave a thought as to being possible."
"Yes, I wanted to quit. Part of me still does. But not before I gain some semblance of vengeance for what has been done to me…"
"Not before Killian pays penance for the sins he has committed…"
"Not before I get through to a man I still consider a brother…"
"No matter how much it hurts, both him and me."

The Great Battle.
An event so significant, that it changed everything. It destroyed the cosmos, ultimately recreating it anew.
For ions, there had been dreams and prophecies concerning when Ragnarok would occur; that foretold what would happen, to bring this downfall of the cosmos - as well as the gods and goddesses - to light.
It had begun with the death of Baldr. And it would end with Baldr coming to life once more.
The Allfather himself, Odin, was killed, consumed by the son of Loki, the wolf known as Fenrir. Loki and Heimdall fought each other to the death, both dying in combat, but Loki refusing to do so until he had witnessed the utter destruction of all the lands. Thor disposed of the Midgard Serpent, but fell victim to the great serpents poison. And Frey was killed by the fire giant Surtr, who then set the nine worlds on fire, resulting in everything sinking into the boiling sea.
Ragnarok.
But this was not the end, for the earth soon was raised from the ocean, with Baldur returning from the underworld, and this new world becoming more lush and fruitful than it had been since it was created the previous time.
For Baldr had come; and he and Höðr lived in Odin's great war hall of the slain gods, ushering in a new era of the world, leaving Ragnarok but a distant memory.
============================================
"Horizons will be the beginning of the end, Killian King. It will be an event that will bear witness to 'Vain' Alan Wallace gaining a semblance of revenge on the brother that wronged him, and then taking his rightful place at the top of the UGWC mountain, once more."
"This event will be one that will be talked about for years to come. On a night where one man has put his career on the line, another man has seen to it that the future of the entire industry rests on his shoulders, and his shoulders alone."
"He will ultimately win out over the deceit and cowardice from those closest to him, and in the end, will help take the world of professional wrestling to new, unadulterated heights."
"Friend will battle friend…"
"Brother will slay brother…"
"And 'Vain' Alan Wallace will once more reach the pinnacle of this industry, and reclaim his throne at the top of it all."
"You're welcome."
"But… if the known does not occur… if Vain and Killian vanquish one another in the battle to end all battles… they will come together in the great beyond as peers, eat in the great halls, and watch intently at how everything in the wrestling world plays out. Simply put…"
"They'll watch it all burn."
