Pic base: Maria Brink from In This Moment
Appearance: Malise is a small, petite little thing, but as the saying goes, dynamite comes in small packages. Her hair is blonde, chin length, and straight, the blonde definitely not a color ever found in nature and it is evident it isn’t her natural color (whatever it is… she insists it’s blue). Her eyes are a very disturbing shade, a pale almost dead blue, emphasized even more by the massive amounts of black usually rimming them. Pale skinned, her tattoos show up very well. Her right arm is sleeved out and she has tattoos across the backs of both of her hands and across her knuckles. She also has a tattoo on the left side of her neck. Malise’s apparel is… eccentric. One day she may be wearing all leather, the next she may be wearing a short frilly dress (she is especially fond of these in all bright colors). Her in-ring attires is comprised of a dress made to look like a pin-up style nurses outfit. All white with red splatters made to resemble blood, the top is more like a corset, tight and low cut, and the skirt (the same color and pattern as the top.. It all flows together) is fairly short but flares out a bit with some of the frills reminiscent of her other outfits. Her legs are encased in ripped red fishnets and white knee-high lace up boots with a platform heel so that she appears taller than she really is.

Acid Bath’s “Finger Paintings of the Insane” hits over the system, the lights flashing and then dissolving it’s a flurry, enough to make the epileptics in the crowd sorry they’ve come to this particular show.
Turning the knife
Buried in your stomach
I woke up alive black with stain
Glistening and new the sunset's coming...
Coming... coming... Coming
Finger paintings of the insane
Malise comes swaying out from the backstage area, dancing to the music, her blonde hair swinging into her face as she starts head banging to the music, her hair making a halo around her head. She stops, throwing her hands up, and skips down to the ring, her platform heels making loud clacking sounds as they strike the ramp. She slaps hands with the fans who hold theirs out, smacking foreheads of the ones who are close enough and don’t. Reaching the ring, she leaps up onto the apron and, grasping the top rope, flips herself into the ring, landing smoothly on her feet. She smoothes her dress down and curtsies to the crowd before moving off and waiting for the match to begin.
Fighting Style: High-flyer; technical
Regular Moves: shiranui aka will o‘ the wisp, shooting star press, suicide dive, springboard bulldog, springboard hurricanrana, spinning heel kick, sunset flip, double springboard leg drop, straightjacket neck breaker, front missile dropkick, boston crab, double knee face breaker, tornado ddt, head scissors takedown, hanging figure 4 necklock, surfboard, the tarantula, springboard clothesline
Signature Moves: “Crash Cart” : 619/Tiger Feint Kick: Malise jumps through the second and top rope while holding on to the ropes, and uses the momentum to swing back around into the ring, usually striking her opponent in the chest with her feet and knocking them onto their backs, a sort of set up for either the Malise in Wonderland or the Malpractice.
“Abracadaver”: Lady of the Lake: This is a move used to trick an unsuspecting opponent. Malise sits down, crosses her legs, tucks her head into her chest and wraps one arm around her ankle (so she is effectively rolled into a ball). She then extends her remaining arm between her legs and then waits. The opponent, ostensibly confused, normally takes the offered hand, at which point Malise quickly rolls forward and into an arm lock.
Taunts: Malise will reach into the lowcut top of her “nurses” outfit, act like she’s fishing around for something, maybe a weapon, and pulls out… her up-turned middle finger with a big sarcastic smile on her face.
Primary Finisher: “Malise in Wonderland”: Corkscrew 630 degree senton: she faces away from the ring and situated on the top turnbuckle, performs a 180° turn in mid-air and then performs a 630° senton onto a lying opponent.
Secondary Finisher: “Malpractice”: Moonsault double footstomp: a moonsault is performed but instead of landing on the opponent in a splash position, she would continue the rotation so that she would be able to drive both feet into an opponent who is lying on the ground.
Personality: Malise is very much a paradox. At times she seems completely sane and talking to her, you would never know that at other times her level of insanity rivals Carn’s, though hers is somewhat more childlike and idealistic. She does have a very intense and brutal violent streak, and she frequently uses her background in nursing against her opponents. She knows what to strike, how hard, and how often. She is calculating underneath it all, and at times people wonder if all of this is an act. Malise is completely loyal and 100% devoted to Carnival. She feels like he is her savior, and in her eyes, anyone who is a friend of Carn’s is a friend of hers. She is almost cartoonish at times and VERY superstitious. She frequently pulls weapons our of areas it doesn’t seem they should fit (I.e., she reaches in a pocket and pulls out a mallet, reaches in her cleavage and pulls out a rubber chicken… you get the point)
Biography: Alice Bordeaux was not a violent person. Until she met Carnival, that is. Alice was a nurse in a mental hospital when she met the clown-who-is-not-a-clown-and-refuses-to-be-referred-to-as-such. She immediately took a liking to the poor man, who she felt was just “misunderstood.” She had talked with him a few times and couldn’t for the life of her understand why he was strapped down as he was. It started off innocently enough… she would bring his medicine around and give it to him. He would say “Thank you, have a nice day.” She thought it odd that someone who was supposed to be so violent, so unpredictable to sound so… cultured at times. It was a conundrum that she was determined to solve. What started as a few generic words shared, ended up being her sharing her life story and current problems with Carnival (an abusive boyfriend being one of them) and he sharing his with her. The lines began to blur. This man was not insane and he did not deserve this treatment. If he deserved it and was considered insane, then so too should any other random person! It wasn’t right.
Alice decided to test her theory of Carnival’s sanity by asking if he wanted his medication anymore. Of course, he declined, and so she looked for a sign that maybe it was the medication making him sane and not his actual self. But nothing changed. Alice then had an epiphany: what if none of these people needed this stuff? What if they all just had one bad day and then were considered insane? Nurse Alice began withholding the meds from all of her patients, all the while growing closer to Carnival, even so far as to release him from his restraints and bring picnics to his cell for the two of them to share. She began sleeping in his cell with him, curled up in his lap like a doll, Carnival watching over the petite woman protectively.
One night, Alice’s abusive boyfriend showed up at the institution, looking for his girlfriend whom he hadn’t seen at home in quite a while. When he informed the night staff that Alice had not been coming home, they grew worried and went to investigate, discovering her in Carnival’s cell. In short, all hell was raised, the nurse who found her running off to fetch a security guard. While she was away, Alice crept out and made her way down the hall and ran into her boyfriend who began to castigate her for not coming home and for anything else he could think of. He grabbed her arms and shook her, Alice feeling the bruises his grip would leave. She broke away from him and ran back into Carnival’s cell, him following her, realizing too late that this may have been a mistake. She had released Carnival and hadn’t strapped him back in and… let’s just say the young man never left that cell again. And Alice? She saw it all. No, she didn’t cringe from the violence, or stare in horror and what she had inadvertently caused… but inside her scarred soul, her heart thrilled to see “her Carni” mangling the man. She loved the snap of bone, the screams of pain, the dull thwap! Of flesh hitting flesh and beating it into a pulp. It was then she decided to follow this man wherever he went, and Carnival wasn’t exactly upset by this.
And so the pair escaped, but before doing so, they released the rest of the loonies to make sure the folks at the institution were plenty busy for a while to come. Carnival took Alice on the road with him and renamed her Malise. He started training her in wrestling and even brought her to his friend, Bryan Bryn Bryson for training. She became very adept in her abilities in the ring, leaning toward the high-flyer moves and daredevil moves. Eventually, she was introduced to the man Carnival considered a brother, Exile, who she tries to keep in line and prevent from getting too dour. At first, Shucky was jealous of Malise but, getting to know her, soon became one of her biggest fans.
