Okay,
I've been thinking about this.
Really hard.
For a long time.
So, as of the completion of this posting, I will be officially going into a classic Wrestling trope. Retirement that may not actually be retirement.
I'm burned.
I've been struggling with material.
I've felt at times, that the game has blown by me. That my style of story telling just isn't suited to this anymore.
At the same time, I like writing stories. Seito Risa is probably the most fun I ever had with a character. (#PosthemusHOF?)
I have people who have worked with me that are people I'd like to work with again. Fizz among them. To see the friendship get to form that is potentially there between Konrad and Carlson would be great.
But it will, at best, have to wait.
January is going to be insane for work. End of year for a ton of our clients. Plus, our own fiscal year closing, rolling right into the Audit that comes early February.
Once all of that insanity is over, I might be looking for fun. And this is a place I can find that.
All of you are fantastic people. For those, which is most of the roster, I have not had the pleasure to work with, work against or otherwise interact with aside from in a match, I look forward to possibly getting to talk to some of you next year.
I'll check in from time to time. Keep an eye on what is going on. Fizz, if you want to ping me on PM, I can share my email address with you, so if you want to have Konrad having conversations with a still hard at training Carlson, we can work something out.
To the Staff, you bunch of hard working folks, thank you for all that you do. Running a place like this is not easy, that's why so many fail. Think how long UGWC has been running and you realize the job that they all do. Thank you for all you do, thank you for letting Carlson get a last appearance on screen and thank you for letting me rejoin here.
I look forward to, hopefully, coming back. But, if I don't, then this can serve as my last goodbye.
I hope it isn't.
All of you have a safe and happy Holiday season, you and all of those close to you.
Domo arigato.
Jim
