A camera opens up to an L.A.X. terminal as "Dynamite" Derick Felix and David "Hitman" Lopes, the Brick City Boyz, are walking about dragging their luggages. Dynamite is wearing faded blue jeans with a black t-shirt and a white track jacket as Hitman is wearing black jeans and a white t-shirt and a black leather jacket with aviator shades. A shrill is heard off camera as the Boyz look up to see a few blonde fan girls flood to them with autograph booklets...
Girl 1: <scream> "OMG its the Brick City Boyz!!!" <scream>
Girl 2: "OMG you guys are hella hot!"
Dynamite:" Hella?..."
Girl 3: "Yeah! Hella HOT!"
Hitman: "Dude, I heard hot so I'm assuming that's a compliment."
Hitman smiles at the girls and start signing their booklets. Dynamite shrugs and signs as well. Hitman lowers his shades and winks as the girls scream even louder and nearly faint. The Boyz continue to walk past them and walk out of the terminal to a limousine awaiting them with a distinguished older man who appears to be the driver leaning on the door...
Driver: <old British accent> "Good day, gentlemen. I am William and I will be your driver for this afternoon."
Hitman: "This I can dig!"
The Boyz get into the limousine as William proceeds to bring them to their hotel...
Dynamite: "Hey, Willie, what the heck does 'hella' mean?"
William chuckles to himself...
William: "Welcome to Los Angeles."
The camera then cuts to later as the Boyz enter their two twin bedroom hotel room. They notice packages laying on each bed, both stamped with the new United Global Wrestling Coalition logo on them...
Hitman: "Ooh, presents."
Hitman drops his bags and leans over the package. He then picks up the package and shakes it to his ear. He then proceeds to open the package which has a letter in it. It reads...
"To LWF's Tag Team champions Brick City Boyz,
Congratulations on your recent success, we are honored to have you here in the new UGWC organization. He hope for you to continue your success and bring this federation to whole new heights. As an incentive, we would like to present you your first line of merchandise,
Hitman looks past the letter and pulls out a black hooded jacket with a new white Brick City Boyz crest on the left chest over the heart. The design is the backwards B, straight C and straight B in a rhombus-like fashion with broad, downward tribal angel wings. It also features a shash underneath reading Brick City Boyz The design is also featured on the back but with larger angels wings that stretch down the entire back of the jacket...
Dynamite: "Hey, this I can dig."
Dynamite gets up to grab the other package and opens up to reveal his. They both try on their jackets and examine them. A knock is heard on the door. Derick answers to reveal a slim, bald gentleman in a business suit...
Gentleman: "I see you guys got your merch already, and I take it you like?"
Hitman: "Uh, yeah!"
Gentleman: "Oh, how rude of me, I haven't introduced myself. I'm Moss Edwards, Head of Creative."
Edwards shakes hands with the Boyz...
"I looked into your design back at LWF and told my guys to keep the whole "BCB" design. Mr. Felix I hear you are very into angel wings (to be honest, so am I) <wink> and Mr. Lopes, I hear you like tribal designs so I also told them to combine the two to create what you see before you."
Dynamite: "You know this is great and all, but this is gonna be a weird transition for us. I mean we've never wrestled on the west coast, we're east coast boys through and through, from our gestures to our name, the Brick City Boyz, two boys straight out of Newark, New Jersey. How are we gonna get over here in L.A.?"
Edwards: "I'm glad you mentioned that because this is where I come in. You see, Mr. Felix--"
Dynamite: "--You can call me Derick, or 'Dynamite'."
Edwards: "Derick... we are trying to make UGWC a global phenomenon, and we can't do that with just guys from the west coast, this is why we merged two companies from each coast, to broaden our viewers' horizons. Not only are we introducing west coast fans of GIW to the east coast of LWF wrestlers, we are taking in those east coast LWF fans and introducing them to the west coast of GIW wrestlers. We may be based here in L.A. but be sure to know everyone around the world will be watching, even your true hardcore fans on the east coast. They'll be dying to catch up on their favorite wrestlers and now, we open their realm to new ones. It's a refreshment for everyone.
We can only take so much of the same thing, new is change, and change is good. And the more things change, the more they stay the same. So we want you guys to hold on to your background, we don't want to change you into the "City of Angel Boyz", we just won't hit our full demographic with that. The bottom line is this, you guys have a huge following that brought money to the LWF, and the UGWC want to capitalize on them. The Brick City Boyz equal money. When you add something familiar to something new, people gravitate towards that so in order for us to be successful, you guys need to be who you are, two outcasts who go against the grain. But now, it'll be that much easier for you guys to do so."
Hitman: "But at the same time, we don't want to be viewed as the 'bad guys'."
Edwards: "Listen, you are gonna take some initial heat from these Cali fans but as long as you two do what you two do best in the ring, you'll be having them eating out of your hands. Everyone loves an anti-hero, they do the right thing in an environment that doesn't view them as the 'right guys', you fit that mold perfectly and you guys will make us, and in turn yourselves very, very rich."
Dynamite: "Well, Moss--"
Edwards: "--Please, you can call me Mr. Edwards."
Edwards smiles a devilish grin...
Dynamite: "Well, Mr. Edwards... we don't wrestle for the money, we wrestle for the fans.--"
Edwards: "And in turn, the fans make us money."
Dynamite looks at Edwards with a very frustrated look as Edwards just looks at both Boyz smiling from ear to ear as to be looking at two 6-ft tall stacks of money...
"Well, I must go. People to see, things to do, and all of that such. <sigh> 'Boyz', I think this is the beginning of a very great business relationship. Have your people call my people. Oh, and keep up the good work."
Edwards exits the hotel room as the Boyz look at each other...
Dynamite: "This is definitely gonna be interesting..."
Hitman: "Yeah... hella interesting."
Dynamite looks up at Hitman and shakes his head while he laughs to himself as the camera fades...
