Ok as the post earlier in the week was an in-character type announcement, here is the rest of the relevant details for the Purse system.
The Purse
Every match will be assigned a purse value. This value will be determined based upon the match's spot on the card, type of match, number of participants involved, etc. The winner of the match receives the value of their purse added to their bank, which will be tracked on the board for everyone to see.
In a tag team match, the members of the winning team will divide the purse.
The losers of a match will receive a "base pay" added to their bank, equivilant to 10% of the purse value for their match. In the event of a no-show, that person forfeits their base pay for the week and it will be given to their opponent, or divided amongst their opponents in the even of a multi-person match.
Cashing In
There are already a number of rewards that you may purchase, including title shots and the like. This list will expand in the future to include even more content and possibilities, and we'll get to those when the time comes.
If you cashing something in for a TV show, you will need to let us know prior to the card being posted. If you are cashing something in for a PPV, you will need to let us know early in the month, I'll say for now no later than the posting of the second show of a PPV cycle.
Please keep in mind that cashing in is not the ONLY way to receive the opportunities listed. For example, if you cash-in for a #1 contender match and are the only one to do so, we will select your opponent for you at no cost to your opponent. Championship matches and title shot opportunities may be driven by storyline (which doesn't preclude somebody from purchasing entrance to the match in addition).
I'm sure that the system will need tweaking and clarification as time goes on, but I think this gives us a start for now.
