sorry about that friend, i thought i was going insane at first. Otherwise, I loved it, I thought it merged the two feds fluidly and seamlessly, and was above all well written. The matches were solid and I'm happy to see our family growing like it is. I look forward to what is to come with much anticipation!
The best thing I can say about the show is that the merger seems to have taken place smoothly, and there isn't a GIW vs Lock feel to it at all. Very well handled in that respect.
I'm not so sure about the commentary team, myself. Hans doesn't seem to do anything, and Jay is annoying. It feels like Vinegar is carrying the show.
Great matches, and the various segments introducing the new management personalities were interesting.
Other than that, meh. I think the buildup to this had me expecting something spectacular, but really it was just an average wrestling show.

I pretty much agree with what everyone said. The merging worked well, there is no real GIW/LWF feud going on.
It was a good first show, and things can only go up.
I disagree with Ichabod calling Jay annoying! Jay is absolutely brilliant! I like the fact we have Vinegar, our classic face. Hans, our classic heel. Then we got Jay, who can provide entertainment and just make the entire thing more humourous.

I like Jay, Hans works as the heel commentator but not in a cliched annoying way, and Vinegar is just Vinegar. From a match writing perspective I'm much happier with the team. Plus writing them off after the first week would be lil' foolish don't ya think?
As for the show being a 'Meh', I'm really not sure what you were expecting. This show was the first show since the merge, and due to that only a few threads have carried over, it was always going to be mostly a introductory show to set things in place.
Things will get more and more exciting as things move forward, but initially we have to go through a bedding in period and wait to see where all the chips land, as it were. The spectacular show will quite clearly be the PPV, and as we build to that things will become more exciting.
I personally really enjoyed the show, it had a fair few segments making it feel like a real show, and the matches were good too. As I say you can't expect much straight away, unless you DO want a GIW/LWF feud which is probably the only way to make it uber exciting straight off the bat, but is uber cliched.
And as for it being an 'average' wrestling show, given the amount of piss poor shocking shows I have resided over, I'll take average for a Web Show anyday.

I dig, like the new feuds that are already starting to build i.e. myself w/ JK and Pierce w/ A-Kis. my only complaint (and this is a personal pet peeve of mine), the spelling of my name. It's 'Derick' not 'Derek'. But that obviously didn't hurt the quality of the show.
The fatal fourway did seem to be going everywhere (though i won so i can't complain) but all the other matches seemed to flow so well. I agree with Medos about the commentary team, Vinegat provides the face bias, Hans the heel, and Jay is just comic relief, you will eventually get use to him.
hey hey, dont' take it so harshly. It wasn't a let down in any respect. I guess I just had stars in my eyes after all the 'innovative' talk. I have faith that you guys are going to pull off some great things, I'm just impatient and anxious for them :-P
It was kind of a downer that we had a few no shows.
