This match goes pretty much as everyone expects it to, with the exception of The Dark Destroyer of course, who never thinks he’s going to lose. After their entrances, in which The Dark Destroyer reiterates to everyone that he’s “The Two-Hundred and Seventy-Seventh Best Wrestler in the World”, and makes sure to point out that it’s now in his entrance video, the Destroyer somehow makes it ot the ring unscathed. I know, I’m surprised too. So are Alice Nasmith, Travis Pierce and everyone else in the arena. Of course, he promptly gets himself tangled up in his cape when he tries to throw his arms to the side on the turnbuckle. He tries to free himself and as one would expect, he manages to back drop himself off of the turnbuckle and into the mat.
Alice calls for the bell. Pierce takes a second to shake his head and laugh at the sheer idiocy of his opponent. Destroyer manages to struggle to his feet and throws the cape from his face, yelling that he’s “The Two-Hundred and Seventy-Seventh Best Wrestler in the World”. “The Two-Hundred and Seventy-Seventh Wrestler in the World” promptly walks straight into “Signing Off” and “The Truth Hurts” and three seconds later the match is over and “The Icon of Entertainment” has his first points of the tournament.
Winner: Travis Pierce

It's time for the Boneyard!!!!
This was a good, hard fought and relatively even match. It’s clear from the early going that Nathaniel Dixon didn’t believe that this would be the case. He appears to take Konrad Raab somewhat lightly and ends up deposited on his head in the opening minutes for his efforts. Raab keeps the pressure on with a combination of suplexes, powerslams, DDTs, clotheslines and a corner splash. He goes for the “Ice Storm”, but Nathaniel sidesteps it and chop blocks Raab to the mat. As Raab tries to get up, Dixon pummels him with elbows and forearms to the back of his head before he bounces off of the ropes and takes him down with a vicious running boot to the back of Raab’s head. He rolls Raab over and goes for an arrogant cover, but Raab kicks out at one point nine. Dixon continues the pressure with a sitout jawbreaker and a Sling Blade, then “Uncharismatic” when Raab tries to get up. He goes for another pin, but Raab kicks out again.
Dixon pulls Raab up, whips him into the ropes and follows with a double-knee facebreaker. He rolls through and pulls Raab up into a Death Valley Driver. He connects with “The London Eye” and goes for another pin, but Raab kicks out again! Dixon pulls him up, but quickly finds himself rolled up for a two count! He kicks out and walks into a clothesline from Raab, who pulls him up and powerbombs him into the corner, barrages him with boxing punches, then a standing dropkick and a shooting star press. Dixon kicks out after two and Raab drops him with a quick “Iceinator”. He pulls Dixon into the “Frozen Pin”, but Dixon kicks out after two.
Raab pulls Dixon up and finds himself locked into a Tongan Death Grip. Covert Jay yells “goozle” and Lieberjosch tells him to shut up. Dixon grabs Raab by the forehead until he’s told to break it by Hazel, as his fingers are almost in Raab’s eyes. Then they ARE in Raab’s eyes as he rakes them right in front of Hazel. She admonishes him that he’ll get DQed the next time he does it. Somehow Dixon manages to get himself between Raab and Hazel and uses the opportunity to mule kick low blow Raab while Hazel isn’t looking. Dixon takes immediate advantage of it with “Blood in the Darkness'' and “Uncharismatic”. He goes down for a pin, but Raab manages to roll away and under the bottom rope to take a powder on the outside.
Dixon isn’t having it, and gives chase. The two of them brawl on the outside, Dixon clearly having the advantage, but Raab is managing to keep on his feet despite fading fast. Nate is about to capitalize, but Raab hits a desperation haymaker and scoops him up for “Piles of Ice.”
Unfortunately, that depleted the last of his energy, and they both lie sprawled on the outside as East begins a count. Dixon is the first to stir, and, making a calculated decision, dives under the bottom rope just as Raab is counted out.
Winner: Nathaniel Dixon

Backstage, Montague and Jacky have a check-in.
Commentary catches us up on an announcement made on social media earlier today, that the Chaos Title Match at Infinity has been postponed until the subsequent Synergy and that Dave Rydell has been reinstated as the special guest referee for the World Title Match between Centurion and Hastings.
Kyra gets targeted and isolated early in the match, with Baal and Hastings making rapid tags and keeping her isolated from her teammates for several minutes. Zane appears distracted on the apron, gazing blankly at nothing in particular. Hastings takes a moment to direct Rydell to pay attention to the referee and take notes on how to do it properly, but leaves himself open to an uppercut from Kyra, who drops him with a Russian leg sweep. By the time Hastings is able to get back to his feet, she’s managed to make it to her team for a tag, and it’s instead Rydell himself staring back at him. Hastings throws his hands in the air and tags back out to Baal.
Double elbow tie-up by Baal and Rydell, Rydell gets Baal into a side headlock and shouts at Hastings to take his own notes, but Baal counters into a side suplex. Baal unleashes a combination of kicks on Rydell, springboards for the Freudian Slip, but Rydell sidesteps it. Rydell looking for the Virus of Life, but Baal shoves him away, connects with a superkick that knocks Rydell back into his own team’s corner, and Centurion tags himself in.
Centurion rushes into the ring but Baal ducks under a clothesline, grabs Centurion from behind and snaps him into the Call for a two count. Pair of stomps by Baal, and with Centurion down Hastings and Baal exchange a glance and make a tag. Hastings delivers a leaping knee drop, then asks Rydell if he is paying attention before going to apply the Hands of Fate, but Centurion surprises him with an inside cradle for a two count. Both men pop to their feet, but Centurion manages a double leg takedown, attempts to turn Hastings over into the Fall of Rome as Rydell confirms loudly that he is indeed watching, but Hastings manages to block the transition and pulls his legs back enough to kick back with both of them, driving Centurion directly back towards his corner and colliding with Rydell, knocking him off the apron.
Zane still seems in a daze out on the apron, but Baal tries to capitalize on the referee being momentarily distracted by Rydell’s tumble, coming into the ring, but Kyra rushes in and cuts him off with a running superkick, knocking him back through the ropes. She delivers a second superkick to Hastings, then leaps over the top rope for a senton splash on Baal at ringside. Centurion is stirring after the awkward collision, meanwhile Hastings crawls towards his corner and makes a tag to Zane, who slowly turns his head to actually look into the ring for the first time. Zane enters and crosses to Centurion, bringing him back to his feet, but Centurion quickly lifts him into the 1000 Mile Slam, and that gets the three!
Winners: Centurion, Dave Rydell, and Kyra Johnson
Time: 8:41
Centurion has his arm raised along with his teammates as Zane calmly rises and leaves the ring. Hastings stands in front of him at the bottom of the ramp, asking what happened, but Zane pushes past him and shuffles up the ramp. Hastings looks back towards the ring, where Centurion stands on the turnbuckle, staring back at him while holding up the World Title, and Rydell leans on the ropes and asks Hastings if he wants to give up.
Commentary sets the stage for us that Hide needs to win this match by submission in order to win the block. A win for Cervantes would result in Hide finishing in third.
Cervantes is evasive in the early goings, keeping his distance from Hide and stalling a bit. Hide attempts to approach, but Monty ducks his head through the ropes, directing the referee to back Hide off. After Monty does this three times in a row, Johnny catches on at ringside and begins shouting at the referee that Monty is just trying to run out the clock, prompting the Doctor-Professor to drop out to ringside and take up the argument himself. Brian Chartreuse tells Cervantes to come back into the ring, but Monty brushes it off and continues to bicker with Johnny. Chartreuse starts to count him out, at which point Hide catches on that this is being done deliberately and rolls out to ringside himself. Cervantes bolts away and Hide chases him around the ring, but on the second lap Johnny steps in the way of Cervantes and gets trucked, but the impact slows Cervantes down and Hide finally catches him, throwing him back into the ring.
Cervantes springs to his feet as Hide slides in and lays the boots to Deathwish, stomping on him repeatedly. Monty smirks as he looks out at Johnny, getting back to his feet at ringside, and Monty taps his own head and holds up three fingers to Johnny, telling him he has three brains. Cervantes goes to bring Hide back up, but gets staggered by an uppercut and a kick to the gut from Hide, who follows up with a dropkick to the knees. Side suplex by Hide, who then brings Cervantes back up with a waistlock, but Monty throws back an elbow to break free and follows up with a spinning back fist. Hide tries to get back to his feet, but Cervantes runs towards the ropes, ascending and springing off them for Lament For a Toy Factory.
Monty goes for the cover, but Hide shoves him off nearly immediately, and Cervantes rolls out of the ring entirely in front of commentary. He kips up and goes to the timekeeper, pulling Claude de Rhombus out of his chair and bringing the chair back into the ring. Cervantes winds up as Hide is getting back to his feet, but Johnny slides into the ring and dives in the way, getting waffled by the chair as commentary argues over a blatant attempt by Cervantes to get himself disqualified.
The referee kicks the chair out of the ring and rolls out the dead weight of Johnny Waffled as well, as Cervantes actually looks frustrated for the moment. Cervantes goes to kick Hide, but Hide catches the leg and pulls him into the Wheel of Fortune, and transitions into the Hanged Man! Cervantes flails for the ropes, attempting to break the hold, but Hide repositions and locks the hold in with the ropes far out of reach. Cervantes has nowhere to go, but he somehow contorts his body in an odd way, and his shoulders are on the mat, the referee counts the three!
Winner: Hide Yamazaki
Time: 7:14
Hide thinks he got the submission, and celebrates momentarily as Monty rolls out of the ring with a knowing smirk. Johnny is flabbergasted as commentary watches a replay and it looks as though Monty intentionally got his shoulders onto the mat so that he didn’t have to tap out. Montague Cervantes is announced as the winner of the block, advancing to the Global Challenge Finals.
The Ragdoll approaches the ring!
The AstroCreeps are out in force for the first time in months, and the announce team reminds us of how much trouble they caused last year. We get a quick reminder that Sebastian absolutely has to win by submission in order to finish this block in second. If Ragdoll wins by any means, she finishes in first place!
Seb eyes the various members of the Creep army patrolling around before turning to smirk at Ragdoll. Jacky puts an end to that, however, by running and leaping up for a big surprise dropkick that knocks Seb against the ropes. On the return bounce, he gets a flying knee right in the face that drops him to the mat.
Ragdoll immediately throws a dragon sleeper on and cackles as Seb struggles to free himself. The announce team wonders why she’s bothering for a submission if she only needs a pinfall, but Covert Jay implies that she’s making a point here.
Bryce manages to wrap his arms around Ragdoll and pull as he sits out, pulling her into a sort of backwards facebuster as he falls. It’s awkward but effective, and gives him room to scramble from under her.
Seb wastes no time applying the Emperor Lock, but Rags was ready and immediately kicks herself free. Now that they’ve got the measure of each other’s goal, we’re treated to several tense minutes of Ragdoll and Seb striking and then immediately applying a submission, followed by the other person countering quickly. It’s a fine display of talent from both sides on this final match of the tournament qualifiers.
Of particular note is that both competitors have modified their normal style somewhat in order to get that elusive submission.
Ragdoll, who is normally big on kicks and clowning about to throw her opponent off their guard, is focused and leaning heavily on her jumping game. Not only does this make her as slippery as an eel for Seb to lockdown, but she appears to be wearing the boots Montague made for her which adds an extra spring in her already massive hops. Each time she pops up above Seb, she comes crashing back down with decisive stomps that have to be weakening Seb’s defense.
For his part, Seb appears to be avoiding his normal suplex factory in order to keep Jacky as grounded as he can. For every kick Ragdoll doesn’t take, SEB dishes out an extra one. Also, since Ragdoll isn’t going for covers, Seb is craftily modifying the submissions he goes for to be counters to the ones she’s trying to apply.
As we near the time limit, things escalate. We see a Tiptoe Through The Tulips, S4S, second turnbuckle Button Buster, and King’s Road interspersed with rapid fire submissions and kicks from both sides. Montague distracts Burke long enough for Tank and Terry to reach in and drag Ragdoll’s foot to the ropes, and Seb is forced to let go in frustration.
He’s about to try again, but Jacky hits a Punchline. Monty is up on the apron screaming for her to take the cover, but Ragdoll hesitates. That’s all the time Seb needed to drag himself over and lock on the GSHOAT again! The audience has begun to countdown as the time clock reaches thirty seconds, but Ragdoll is refusing to tap. Burke checks and asks if she’s ok, and she just laughs at him.
Seb looks up at the clock and sighs, then lets her go and stands up quickly, dragging her up with him. He flips her upside down and hits Excuse Me and covers, and it goes like this:
