This was the highly competitive match we all thought it would be and ultimately it would take something typically UGWC weird for it to end. It would end because of the box that Pierce brings to the ring, a box which Sebastian seems to have no idea about, but we’ll get to that. The early match saw Pierce initially trying to use his size and power advantage against Kyra. He was forced to reevaluate after an attempted suplex, which she escaped from and transitioned into a backstabber. A quick tag brought Davison into the match and led to Pierce suffering from multiple backbreakers and suplexes before Krya was tagged back in and he suffered from “Bottom of the Bottle” for a two count.
The match continues to look one-sided until Kyra attempts a hurricanrana that pushes Pierce a little too close to his corner. Sebastian executes a blind tag while Pierce holds onto Kyra and swings her into a Sebastian superkick. Instead of pinning her, Sebastian puts on a suplex clinic that ends with another tag and a combination “Stamford Bridge”/ “Piercing Blow” for a long two count. Pierce drops for the pin, which gets a two count before the weird event referenced earlier occurs. During the pin, the box he’d placed at ringside begins to rattle violently. Sebastian, Ken, and most importantly Referee Sam Green all look at it, interrupting the count.
The top of the box flies off to reveal The Dark Destroyer, who Pierce has apparently abducted because…reasons? He falls out of the box, causing it to dump him out onto the floor. This leads to the normal comic disaster that we’d expect before the Destroyer leaps up and darts to the back, yelling “EVIL” at the top of his lungs. Kyra uses this distraction to slip out from under his pin and stomp him with “Blackout” for the three before Sebastian even realizes what’s happening. He stands looking crossly at Pierce while the Cooperative Champions celebrate retaining.

Backstage, Daedulus receives a visitor.
Dave Rydell is out first, with Donovan Hastings accompanying him. Next is the current UGWC World champion, Montague Cervantes fresh from a ghost hunting adventure. Donovan offers advice from the outside of the ring–rather, he’s shouting at him with condescension. Rydell, shaking his head in the ring, locks up with Montague as the bell rings. The Doctor-Professor slithers out of the lockup and into a waistlock. From there he hits a variety of suplexes, each one a heavier hitter than the last. Rydell manages to block one, powering out and hitting a snap suplex of his own.
With momentum shifted, it’s Rydell’s turn to unleash some offense, first with an arm drag counter, followed by an evenflow style DDT, and finally a jaw breaker. He immediately begins putting the boots to Cervantes, maintaining control over the match. It’s halted when Cervantes hits a low blow. On the outside, Hastings voices his displeasure to the referee. Brian Chartreuse gives him a warning. Hastings better keep himself under control if he wants to stay out here.
Montague follows the low blow up with an impressive scissors kick that would make Harlem proud, then takes his turn putting the boots to Rydell now. Keeping his eyes on Hastings, Montague missteps and rolls right into a small package from Rydell for a near fall. They both stand, but Rydell hits Montague with a running clothesline. Hastings still letting Chartreuse have an earful like a baseball manager to the home plate umpire. And, quicker than Joe West on a power trip, Chartreuse turns and ejects him! Hastings has been ejected from ringside, and it seems all the attention is on him as he begins throwing a tantrum.
As Rydell tries to calm Hastings from inside the ring to allow Chartreuse to gain control of this match, Montague takes advantage of the opportunity and rolls up Rydell! But only gets a two count as Rydell rolls out of it. Montague immediately throws a kick right in Rydell’s chops! Rydell falls backwards and Cervantes hits the Big Finish for the three count!
Rydell exits the ring and doesn’t look happy with Donovan. As the two bicker back and forth, there’s commotion in the ring. It’s Phrixus Deimos! And he has Montague Cervantes locked in the Millennial Decay! Rydell and Hastings watch on with surprise as Deimos releases the hold before Montague loses consciousness, making his statement. We fade to commercial as the camera catches Montague clutching his throat and glaring outside the ring at Deimos.

On a night on which he celebrates a special anniversary, The Golden Icicle is ready for action!
Konrad Raab is out first, followed by Zane Scott, who is still seemingly very paranoid, with all of the looks to the back. Once the opening bell sounds, the two lock up in the middle of the ring. Konrad and Zane go through a series of chain wrestling before Zane gets the upper hand and shoves Konrad back to the mat. Out of anger, Raab goes for a flurry of offensive moves but only lands a few punches and kicks. Zane is able to counter out of most of them, or block them. Konrad comes off the ropes for a Lou Thesz Press but Zane counters it into a spinebuster. He covers but only gets a quick 2 count.
Zane on the offensive now. He backs Konrad into the corner. Hitting a flurry of punches to the body and head. Eventually, Konrad blocks them and fights his way out of the corner. He gets Zane in the middle of the ring and starts hitting knee strikes and punches. Zane attempts a hard right hook, but it gets dodged! Konrad grabs Zane by the throat and goes to lift him up for the Iceinator, but it’s countered! Zane goes for a full nelson, but Konrad breaks free! He ducks down and pulls Zane forward for a surprise roll up! Just at the final moment, Zane kicks out! That was like 2 and 99/100 of a second! Konrad pounds the mat in frustration before getting up and taking the fight back to Zane.
The two go back and forth for several minutes. Hitting chop after chop, punch after punch, kick after kick, knee strike after knee strike; even headbutt after headbutt! Until finally, Zane catches Konrad. He gets him all discombobulated. Konrad tries to get some separation but to no avail. Zane hits Konrad with a belly to back suplex. He pulls Konrad up and gets him in the corner. The assault continues as Konrad is defenseless. Zane hits a hard knee strike to the gut. He pulls Konrad up top and follows. He steadies himself on top and goes for a huge fisherman suplex from the top rope but Konrad blocks it! Konrad blocks it! He headbutts Zane and reverses it to a belly to back suplex off the top rope! Both men come crashing to the mat hard. After several moments and the referee count reaching about 7, both begin to stir. Konrad is up first.
Zane pulls himself up with the ropes but gets caught in the face with a superkick from Raab! Zane falls into the ropes but keeps himself, kind of up. He turns back around and gets blasted with another super kick from Konrad! Zane looks to be more furious than anything! Konrad grabs Zane and whips him off the ropes. Reversal! Konrad goes into a handspring. He spirals and twists in mid air! Covert Jay states how this is a new move called the Arctic Pipeline but he is corrected by Mr. Vinegar that he may have brought the wrong note cards. Zane catches Konrad and goes to powerslam him. Konrad counters out, hits a third superkick on Zane, but Zane just pops back and glares a hole right through Konrad. Konrad charges for a shoulder block but gets taken down with The Purge! After a long 2 count, Konrad kicks out and tries to get back up. Unfortunately for him, Zane is right there and gets him in the Jaws of Strife. It is academic at this point, as after a few moments of Zane roaring like a man possessed, Konrad taps out.
