Donovan fumes over his defeat on Synergy, protesting that Savage failed to comprehend the brilliance of what Donovan was doing and resolving to avenge himself upon him in the Melee. When Owen informs him that Savage does not intend to participate in the Melee and will instead dispatch his cameraman, Donovan promises that the proxy will suffer in Savage’s place.
Donovan tries to put things aside for an afternoon when he takes his twin daughters to an indoor trampoline park. The trio have fun until they are bouncing near a ball pit and Katie asks Donovan about winning the Melee. Katie does a 9-year old’s version of an impression of Lucy Wylde before Donovan tosses her in the pit. Scarlet wants to be Eden Morgan, but Donovan tells her that Eden’s not in the match, so Scarlet begrudgingly does an impression of Sebastian Everett-Bryce before Donovan tosses her in the pit.
The twins keep coming back out of the pit and doing impressions of different participants in the match before Donovan throws them back into the ball pit, with Scarlet periodically attempting to be Eden again before Donovan reminds her that Eden won’t be in the match and she gets annoyed. Donovan gets increasingly demonstrative with each “entrant” and explains why they won’t be able to defeat him, but eventually relents to the increasingly persistent and stubborn Scarlet and allows her to pretend to be Eden, at which point Scarlet shoves him in the pit and declares herself the victor.

“Godly” Ken Davison appears in St. Anne’s (formerly) Catholic Church, the remodeled building that is now a sanctuary in his image. He is in full regalia, opting for a pair match set of tinted sunglasses and collar, in UGWC green. Aside his pulpit, there is a statue of a woman with a sledgehammer and the head of the statue laying at the base.
Ken talks about how he has failed to stand alone on his own two feet in UGWC. While he is hopeful about the prospect of making history, that is not enough for him. Coming into the Massive Melee, he needs to remember who he is when he has to stand on his own. He will point out how standing on his own, he just won a World Championship. Acknowledging that the championship itself doesn’t mean anything here, the edge he developed does.
He reminds the audience of some of the men and women he’s beaten, legends like JC, who will also be in this match. He mentions Baltimore Elite’s deathmatch victory over Ragdoll and Cervantes as a reminder as to how much punishment he can take.
For the final part of the diatribe, he walks over the statue, picking up the head and showing that it is actually a replica of Kyra’s head. Talking about how he and his wife have fought against one another, he emphasizes that it is every man for themselves, and that in the Melee, that includes himself and his wife. End scene.

In UGWC, “The Omega Weapon” is the unknown. This is to his advantage. Whereas some people have claimed to be “cerebral assassins”, Antonio Ricci truly is. With a Doctorate in education, in addition to his proclivity for violence, Ricci has decided that perhaps prey such as Tempest is worth his while.
Ricci discusses, in meticulous detail, how he recently came upon a couple camping in a State Park He reminisces about how he circled their camp and, had he desired, could have ended them right then and there. He takes great pains to relay to the audience how he would have buried the two vertically, because there are satellites that look for six foot long holes and marks them for investigation. Adding that he would also bury them underneath the remains of a dead animal, so that the cadaver dogs will mark that spot and when they dig it up and find poor Rex, they will mark it as a false positive, moving on.
Ricci then states how this to relates to the Massive Melee; how by not announcing his entrance in the match earlier, it has given him the opportunity to stalk his prey online, giving him invaluable information that others would not be able to gather due to a lack of time. As the “Omega Weapon” he is not the final boss, rather the toughest boss in the game. Like the Predator from the film series, Ricci wants only the most challenging prey. He feels he’s found it.

Kyra Johnson presents: “Spoopy Times”
Everyone’s favorite asshole child takes over once again, and this time it’s ‘SPOOPY TIME’ as she refers to it.
In this installment, we follow along with Adina and her mother as they decide on the vessel that Adina will pilot this year in her annual journey to acquire as much candy as humanly possible. But it's never that easy, not with Adina. And certainly not for Kyra as she exhausts all her resources and continually comes up empty when the ‘princess’ of the house denies every possibility until an exasperated Kyra decides to take Adina to the only store that can possibly satiate Adina’s undying hunger for the perfect costume.
SPIRIT: HALLOWEEN here they come!
Will she be a precious little puppy dog? Hell no!
A brightly colored butterfly? Absolutely the fuck not!
No, no. Little Adina wants something darker.
But what does she pick?!
The killer from Scream? TOO CHILDISH!
A Skeleton Mermaid? Are you serious Mom? No!
Ohhh, what about a plague doctor? Now that one is promising, but it feels too… familiar...
Hours later, Kyra just doesn’t know what this little heathen wants but she can't help but compare all the options with the variety of opponents she'll face at the upcoming Massive Melee.
In that moment of exhaustion and defeat, and contemplation - Adina approaches, with her final decision…
A werewolf.
A fucking werewolf.
Kyra isn't surprised. There will probably be one of those in the Melee too.

Konrad is taking place in the NASCAR Cup Series Talladega race. While he's waiting to start, he can't help but notice the similarities between the other drivers and the opponents he will face in the Massive Melee. Konrad's angry and wants to destroy anyone and everyone in the rumble because Konrad hates everyone competiting in the rumble.
Konrad's only taking part to cause some violence and pain in other wrestlers as he doesn't like rumbles. He states he will use weapons and eliminate everyone with one since he finds the traditional throwing wrestler's over-the-top-rope unchallenging. Konrad wants to prove to everyone as usual he will not be a joke and will prove he will eliminate the most wrestlers with weapons to win the match.
Zane's backstage getting looked at by Jordan King and the medical staff. Owen approaches him looking like he'd rather be anywhere else but there. After a quick discussion, it's revealed that Ol' Bob sent Owen to talk to Zane because he knows that Zane likes Owen and won't hurt him, even with the news he's about to get. Owen tells him the news that Bob is forcing him into the Melee even though he'd not been completely medically cleared to wrestle yet. Zane flatly refuses and reminds Owen of everything that's happened to him and his family while he's been gone. Owen hands him an envelope with Bob's name on it and apologizes. The two shake hands and Owen leaves. Zane looks at it, turns red, and storms off. The letter lands on the floor and the camera focuses on its message.

Holden Orson
Holden sets up a ‘choose your own adventure’ scenario where as you read you pick options to progress the story in your mission to win the Massive Melee. You go through, sometimes clicking back to pick a better option after seeing the way things unfold. The story allows you to do that! It takes some time, but you eventually realize you’re in an endless loop that grows more chaotic the harder you try to get through it. One link exists on every page, which you never want to press. It’s the option to be eliminated. When you finally give up due to curiosity from seeing that link on every page or from giving up, you select the option to eliminate yourself. This finally takes you to the final page that reads, “And the inevitable has happened.”

Note: Posting on behalf of my daughter Chloe, for her Chloe Hawkhurst character that she used in last year's Melee Match.
"The Minidemon" Chloe Hawkhurst has come back to UGWC’s Massive Melee to once again prove herself. Since her father, "The Demon of Sobriety" Dorian Hawkhust, passed away, she wanted to do him justice by trying to win the Melee match. She talks about the heartbreak of losing her father and how inspiring he has been to her. She talks about how she has been training since she was nine years old, but has spent the last year training even harder after last year’s Massive Melee, specifically mentioning how Kyra has inspired her to keep training after her father’s passing.
Living with Kyra’s daughter Adina has given her the drive to carry on, because she wants to be like a big sister to her, even “wrestling” with Adina when Ken and Kyra aren’t around.
“Sorry, not sorry.”
Chloe was thrilled to have been in the match last year, pointing out that it took the World Champion, Donovan Hastings, to eliminate her. Even before his passing, Chloe made it a point to follow her father to his matches, as well as constantly watching his old matches to learn whatever she could. She also mentions that Ken encouraged her to watch matches from Mexico and Japan so that she could learn even more. “Use any technique that works,” he would tell her.
Lastly, she expresses her gratitude to Ken and Kyra for taking her in, but is very clear about having no problem throwing them out of the match if she needs to.
