This Survival of the Fittest Quarterfinal Match sees Larry Tact facing the “The Raven”, Matt Knox, with the winner set to take on Centurion in a semifinal match in two weeks. Knox is looking for redemption after his brief prior run in UGWC, and Tact has an impressive resume that includes a very lengthy run last year as the Level Up Power Champion.
Tact goes on the offensive early, trying to keep Knox off balance with a clothesline, multiple running shoulder blocks, a running bulldog, a sit out hip toss, a fist drop and a running powerslam. Tact hooks the leg, but Knox is able to kick out.
Knox fights his way back to his feet and connects with a roundhouse kick. He pulls Tact up and drives his knee into Tact’s face before planting him with a belly to belly suplex. Knox connects with a springboard splash, but Tact shoves him off before the two count. Knox slaps on a sleeper hold as Tact is getting up, and Tact struggles in the hold for a few moments, but aggressively runs them both backwards into the corner, slamming Knox against the turnbuckle and knocking him loose. Knox stumbles out of the corner, and Tact lifts him into the Humbling for a two count.
Tact lifts Knox into a torture rack, but Knox floats off the back before it can be fully implemented. Knox attempts to lock in The Mercy, but Tact manages to crack him with a back elbow before the hold is locked in. Knox stumbles back and Tact kicks him in the gut, sets up a powerbomb, but Knox backdrops out of it. Tact tries to get back to his feet but Knox has him and lifts him into Downfall! That’s good for the three!
Winner: Matt Knox

The bell sounds. Ezra and Holden lock up. They engage in minor chain wrestling moves that get halted when Ezra strikes Holden with a knee to the face. Holden staggers and catches a clothesline. Ezra tries for the quick cover but to no avail. He pulls Holden up again, but Holden takes over on the offense. Hitting a series of strikes against the challenger, and finishing it up with a gutwrench suplex.
Holden, still on top, hits an onslaught on ground moves that weaken his opponent. Holden ends up trapping Ezra in a sleeper hold but Ezra is able to reverse out of it and hits a belly to belly on Holden. After the two get back up, Holden gets clipped with a chop block. Ezra begins his ground assault but Holden rolls to the outside. Ezra follows and they both brawl at ringside. This ends with Holden sending Ezra into the steps, shoulder first, hard. Holden rolls Ezra back into the ring and follows.
Holden gets Ezra in the corner and starts his corner attack, but Ezra eventually covers up and sends Holden flying back. Ezra flies out with a spear and both are down. After a double count from the ref, they are both stirring at 7, almost 8. They slug it out and Ezra kicks him in the knee. Holden drops. Ezra goes for the second part of Lightning Strike but Holden ducks! He spins around right into The Facade! Ezra blocks it! He clocks Holden and he staggers.
Holden staggers around right into Kickin’ it Old School! Ezra covers but gets a 2.75! He pulls Holden up and goes for Wreckage but Holden counters out. They chain wrestle briefly before Holden sends Ezra off the ropes. Holden attempts a back body drop but Ezra jumps over! Rebound off the ropes. KNEE JERK REACTION! Ezra covers, but Zane Scott leaps out of the crowd and onto the apron! Ezra is distracted for long enough for Holden to move in and hit a Jan Wnęk Driver! He covers for the win!
Winner: Holden Orson
Time: 11:22
Backstage, Konrad Raab issues a challenge.
Here’s your synopsis. Rydell enters first. Destroyer enters second, nearly kills himself trying to climb into the ring, and somehow ascends the turnbuckle. He trips over his own feet trying to leap off at Rydell, falls into a “Virus of Life”, Sam Green shrugs, calls for the bell, it rings, and Rydell pins the hapless hell bringer.
Winners: Dave Rydell
Time: 0:03
After the bell, they do the typical staredown and circle up. After a few lock ups and trash talk, Travis gets close and gets sucker punched for his troubles. Donovan takes advantage and rolls Travis up, but doesn’t get the 3. He stomps on Travis and begins a significant ground assault. Travis eventually breaks out and gets separated. Here we go with some brief technical moves but they end up with another stare down. They like to stare, huh…
Another lock up. Now we get to the real skill of chain wrestling. I write a lot of these parts in my synopsis because I love technical wrestling. Headlocks. Arm drags. Hammer locks and more! Donovan gets ready to drop Travis with a suplex, but it doesn’t work! Travis floats over the back. Sleeper slam! Cover! Only 2. Travis grabs Donovan for a Dragon Sleeper and gets it cinched in.
After a bit of time in the hold, Donovan reaches the ropes and it’s broken. Travis pulls him away and starts going to work but Donovan slips behind him. Back suplex into an elbow drop. Donovan gets his ground assault going. Travis breaks out and as Donovan pulls him up for a facebreaker DDT, Travis maneuvers into Signing Off! Donovan floats over the back. Destiny’s Call! Donovan covers for 3, and the win.

Seb and Lucy enter the ring, ready to face Monty and Zane, who are already assembled. Montague struts around the ring, while Zane cracks his knuckles and glares at his opponents. The bell rings, and Seb and Monty step in to kick us off.
Seb quickly takes control, using a variety of suplexes and kicks to keep Monty on his toes. Monty fights back with a wind-up haymaker, but Seb ducks and responds with a belly to back suplex. Monty rolls out of the ring to catch his breath, but Zane tags himself in before the Showman gets all the way out.
Zane towers over Seb, but Seb is undaunted. He dodges Zane's knee strikes and responds with a roundhouse kick to the head. The Personification shakes it off and hits Seb with a gutwrench suplex slam. Before he can cover, a desperate Seb manages to reach out and tag in Lucy.
Lucy immediately climbs to the top rope and leaps at Zane with a flying headbutt. Zane catches her in mid-air and hits her with an overhead release suplex. The recent former world champ feigns injury to lure Scott in and claps him into an Anaconda Vice. Zane powers out and tags in Monty.
Monty taunts Lucy, daring her to come at him. She responds, surprising him with a tornado DDT. Monty kicks out at two. Monty kips up and hits Lucy with a diving clothesline, then an STL, but she kicks out at two as well. Monty doesn’t let up, instead setting up for "Lament for a Toy Factory." Lucy manages to kick out milliseconds before Monty can secure victory, and tags in Seb. Monty shrugs and darts over to tag in Zane.
The Chelsea Crippler comes in hot, hitting Zane with a flurry of kicks and a vertical suplex. Zane fights back with a spinebuster, then follows up with “Exiled and Erased.” Seb goes down for a 2.75 count, but manages to get a shoulder up.
Zane tags in Monty, but he holds up for a double team stereo DDT on Seb. They’re about to set up another when Lucy hits Zane with a “Mindblow,” eliminating him from the pile on. Just for good measure, she hits Monty with “Fury Brand”. This allows Seb to recover before hitting the “Markham Missile” on Monty, then cover for the three count!
Synergy comes to a close as Lucy and Seb celebrate, while Monty and Zane conduct a simultaneous, sarcastic, double bow, then make their exits.
