This marks the return to action of the former Cross-Hemisphere Champion, Vespertine. Commentary notes that Larry Tact will be one of the participants in this year’s Battleground Match.
Vespertine gets off to a hot start with a series of arm drags, sending Tact sprawling repeatedly before connecting with a spinning heel kick and following with a cover, but Tact quickly kicks out. Vespertine connects with a running corkscrew pele kick that knocks Tact through the ropes and spilling to the outside, and moments later she vaults over the ropes and splashes him at ringside.
Vespertine brings Tact back to his feet and tries to send him into the ring, but Tact drops his shoulder and drives Vespertine back first into the side of the ring. Tact sends Vespertine back in and climbs up on the apron, but as he steps through the ropes Vespertine catches him with a forearm shot. Vespertine runs across the ring for momentum and comes charges back, but runs into a high knee from Tact. Tact applies an abdominal stretch, applying pressure to Vespertine before transitioning into a side slam, and he hooks the leg but only gets a two count.
Tact brings Vespertine back up and pulls her into a short arm clothesline, but Vespertine counters, ducking the clothesline and countering into a headscissor hurricarana takedown. Vespertine connects with a fist to the stomach followed up by one to the jaw, following up with a dropkick to the knee, dropping Tact onto his other knee. Vespertine again gets a running start and charges, but Tact rises and catches her in a brutal spinebuster. Tact lifts Vespertine into the Starbreaker, and that gets the three!
Winner: Larry Tact

Tony Savage wastes no time, unleashing a barrage of lightning-fast strikes and evasive maneuvers. With agility and quickness, he delivers a series of well-executed kicks, punches, and knees. However, Zane Scott remains composed in the face of Tony's aggression. He counters Tony's strikes with well-timed blocks, displaying his own resilience in the ring. Zane seamlessly transitions to take control, suddenly flowing from one move to another, executing slams and suplexes that leave Tony momentarily stunned.
The match unfolds as a back-and-forth battle, with Tony mixing up styles to keep Zane guessing. He continues to showcase his versatility, delivering a breathtaking Spinebuster to End All Spinebusters to Zane. The audience erupts, sensing a potential victory for their Conquest Champion..
Undeterred, Zane Scott demonstrates his tenacity and kicks out just in the nick of time, refusing to succumb to Tony's explosive strikes. As he staggers to his feet, Savage attempts Ten Piece and a Biscuit, only to be countered by Scott's boot to the face. The impact resonates throughout the arena as Tony crashes onto the mat with tremendous force.
Scott scoops him up for a Hobo Harmonizer. After dropping Tony on his face, Zane follows up with a Salt The Earth. He hooks Tony’s leg, but doesn’t hear Chartreuse begin the count. This is mostly because, unseen to him, a masked figure has run down to ringside and pulled Brian from the ring. And that’s when suddenly 'Trenches' by Pop Evil begins blaring over the PA system.
Winner: Tony Savage (by countout)

This match starts on the ramp with Raab and Rydell slugging it out after Raab jumps Rydell on the stage. The two slug it out the entire way down, taking turns bouncing each other off of the ringside railings until Raab gets the upper hand, spins Rydell around and slams him stomach first into the apron. He pulls Rydell up and suplexes him onto the floor, then runs him face first into the ringpost. He leaps up onto the apron and leaps off, landing an elbow drop. Hazel watches this all without a word, then finally rings eventhough Montague hasn’t entered yet.
Raab goes under the ring and pulls out a shovel. He spins and slams it into Rydell’s back, then wraps it around his throat and pulls back, choking him with it. Hazel can only watch. He releases the choke and hits Rydell on the back again. He throws the shovel aside and looks around under the ring. He pulls out a table, slides it into the ring, and pulls Rydell to his feet. He looks up and his eyes go wide. This is when Montague enters the match. On a door. He leaps off and squashes both men under it, shattering it.
That’s one way to make an entrance.
He pops up to a loud cheer. He uses the table as a weapon after that, whacking Rydell with it, while grinding it into Raab’s back. Raab turns and yells something rather unkind at him, only to take a door shot to the face. He throws the door section away, pulls Raab up and drops him throat first across the railing, then clotheslines him over it into the crowd. He turns straight into a clothesline from Rydell, who immediately pulls him up and whips him into the ringside steps. He flips the apron up and pulls out a table, then a chair, and finally a metal toolbox. He promptly turns and whales Montague in the head with it, then suddenly throws it, catching Raab square in the chest. He falls to the ground in a pile of tools.
Rydell pulls Montague up to reveal a bloody face, then hits him in the gut with a wrench. He locks it around Montague’s ear and drags him over to Raab, who’s getting to his feet, and kicks a screwdriver into his hand before he slams it into Raab’s forehead, cutting him open and sending him back to the mat. He releases Montague and hits him with the wrench again, dropping him to the floor. Raab takes a wild swing at him out of nowhere, but he ducks and clamps onto Raab’s…bolts.
Raab howls and while waving around like a madman, manages to poke Rydell in the eye. Rydell staggers back and topples backwards over Montague. Raab fishes around under the ring and comes up smiling, Flanged Mace in hand. Apparently someone’s invading a castle. Who knew that was a part of a Chaos match? Anyway, he advances on Montague and takes a wild and off balance swing. Thankfully for Montague, he avoids it. Raab takes a second wild swing, which Montague also dodges, and it slams into the ring post. Raab gives it a yank, but it’s stuck. He looks at it angrily, at which point Montague leaps off of the turnbuckle, uses the handle of the mace as a platform and springs off, grabbing Raab by the head and DDTing him violently into the floor.
Raab comes up yelling as tacks poke out of his face. Montague adds insult to injury and drills him with a running dropkick. He kips up, straight into a double knee facebuster from Rydell. Rydell leaps onto him for the pin, but he kicks out at two. A table slides into the ring, followed by another. Raab slides in after them and grabs Rydell, promptly release suplexing him onto the bottom of one of the unopened tables. He appears to land on the back of his head and lays on the mat clutching at it. Raab puts the other table on him and leaps onto the turnbuckle. He leaps off and connects with a moonsault, sandwiching Rydell between them. He rolls off clutching at his stomach. Montague jumps onto the table pile and gets a two before Raab barely breaks the count up. He stands up, clutching at his midsection with blood running down his face. Montague also rises and promptly kicks Raab in the gut, then grabs him and slams him down stomach first onto the closed tables and the trapped Rydell.
He drops for the pin, but Raab kicks out after a long two count. Montague throws him shoulder first into the corner, then turns straight into an uppercut from Rydell, who follows it with a piledriver onto the tables for a two count. Rydell throws Montague into Raab in the corner, knocking the wind out of Raab and dazing Montague as he opens up and sets the tables up. Once he does this, he pulls Raab up onto the top of the turnbuckle and runs up the ropes. He leaps out and grabs Raab by the head for the “Virus of Life,” but at the least second Montague appears out of nowhere before he can turn to execute the cutter, grabs Dave by the head and leaps. The momentum carries Dave through a table in sort of a modified Blockbuster. It has the secondary effect of DDTing Raab through the same table.
Montague pushes Raab off, hooks Rydell’s leg and three seconds later has a bloody win.
Winner: Montague Cervantes

Donovan backs away and tags in Phrixus and before Lucy can tag out, Fear grabs her and hits a back suplex!
Fear drops down and locks Lucy in a rear naked choke but it’s quickly parted after she gets her foot on the bottom rope. As Fear gets up, Lucy trips him up and tabs in SEB! SEB is in like a house of fire! He clobbers Fear down with a clothesline. Travis rushes in to be taken down as well! Donovan comes in but doesn’t charge. SEB gives him a smirk and turns back to Fear, who is legal. Donovan takes his moment and clobbers him from behind and now all hell has broken loose! Lucy is back! Ken is back! They are all brawling in the ring! Lucy and Donovan spill to ringside. Travis and Ken end up staying in the ring while SEB sends Fear to ringside. Ken and Travis hit a double suplex on Travis, followed by dual elbows! Donovan sends Lucy into the ring steps and Fear slides back into the ring behind Ken! Donovan spears SEB to the mat and the two brawl around in the ring while Fear and Ken slug it out!

Fear drops down just in the knick of time and SEB crashed into the corner! SEB staggers out and Fear goes for the Numbing but SEB breaks away! He shoves Fear who gets blind tagged by Donovan. SEB jumps and tags in Ken! Travis drops off the apron and stalks SEB who is rolling to the outside. Lucy sees this and goes to intervene.
Donovan grabs Ken but Ken hits a quick gutwrench suplex on Donovan! He drops an elbow and goes for the cover, but only gets 2! Ken grabs Donovan and goes for a backbreaker but it’s countered! Neckbreaker by Donovan! He pulls Ken up and goes for a suplex but Ken floats out. He shoves Donovan right into Fear who is just back up on the apron. Travis and Lucy are brawling at ringside while SEB is finally up and is about to get involved. Ken grabs Donovan and goes for the Jawdropper but Donovan counters out! DESTINY’S CALL!!!! Out of nowhere, Phrixus leaps off the top rope with the Meteor Press and Donovan drops for the cover, and the 3! Lucy rolls into the ring right as the hand hits for 3.
