Vinegar: Welcome back to Day 3 of Wrestlestock 2023!!
Covert Jay: Or Day 6, depending on how you count!
Lieberjosch: What's in store for today? How about an all out Zion Wrestling expose as we'll be switching to their broadcast signal for three big matches, including the Zion Wrestling World Championship!
Covert Jay: Hopefully their broadcast signal is stronger than ours.
Vinegar: Don't forget, IWF will feature today with Angel Blake and Matt Knox fighting for the IWF Invictus Championship!
Lieberjosch: Knox and Blake fought through a day of absolute ridiculousness yesterday in the District Conquest, along with Lord Hastings.
Covert Jay: Knox won!
Vinegar: Indeed, but does he have anything left to challenge Blake once again? Does Blake still have anything left in the tank?
Lieberjosch: In our main event Zane Scott challenges JC for the UGWC Cross-Hemisphere Championship in a Cage Match!
Vinegar: Before we go to our first Wrestlestock Open Semi-Final, let's review the rest of yesterday's show.
Lieberjosch: Before Matt Knox earned the opportunity to challenge Montague Cervantes for the Conquest Championship, we saw The Showman along with The Avenger, Larry Tact, Ezra Wolf, Jason Cashe, and Craig Cogan qualify for the Open Semi-Final.
Vinegar: We also saw an exciting Queens of Chaos Showcase from Zion Wrestling!
Covert Jay: Don't forget the continuation of the now SIX DAY Vigilante match!!
Lieberjosch: Ugh..
Vinegar: Let's go to the Wrestlestock Open!!
Last Edit: Jul 16, 2023 4:55:01 GMT -5 by UGWC Staff
Vinegar: Craig Cogan is in some long drawn out vigilante match with Captain 80’s. They were last seen eating wings in the Devil’s District, but we are unsure what happened after that.
Covert Jay: Shall we recap?
Leiberjosch: No. They just witnessed the entire ordeal. I hate it so much.
The lights go out as Bonnie Tyler's "Holding Out For A Hero" begins to play, with spotlights searching the rafters for the hero.
Where have all the good men gone
And where are all the gods?
Where's the street-wise Hercules
To fight the rising odds?
Finally every light converges onto the ramp, and the color turns to green with the symbol of the Avenger appearing on the video wall.
Isn't there a white knight upon a fiery steed?
Late at night I toss and I turn, I dream of what I need
Right as Bonnie says, "I need a hero!", The Avenger races out on a stylish green and black motorcycle, with his logo plastered on the front. He circles the ring with it, passing by the announce tables and fans, before parking it back on the ramp and hopping off. He then leaps up on to the apron and darts up the turnbuckle, holding out a big thumbs up for the audience before jumping back into the ring to prepare for his match.
Mitchell: And his opponent, weighing in at 213 lbs, The Avengerrrrr!
Vinegar: Avenger defeat Matt Knox to advance in rather decisive fashion. Quite the upset here at WrestleStock.
Leiberjosch: For someone who has as big a mouth as Knox does, it’s quite comical that his match was one of the shortest we’ve ever seen.
Covert Jay: Listen, doc. Sometimes you have an off day.
Leiberjosch: Yesterday was not a day to be off your game. That’s for sure.
Vinegar: Right you are. Let’s get to the action. And we are handing it over to our substitute commentary team.
DING DING DING
Jordan King: Thank you Nick! Dirge, it’s a pleasure.
Moss Edwards: Likewise!
Jordan King: Oy… let’s get to it.
Moss: Avenger and Craig lock up in the middle of the ring. Cogan gets behind Avenger and tries to maneuver into a submission of some kind.
JK: Avenger isn’t having it and breaks free, staggering the man of 5 basic moves.
Moss: Avenger heads towards Cogan but Craig attempts a drop toe hold. Somehow, not able to trip up the hero!
JK: Avenger stutter steps over the feet of his opponent and drops down to the mat, getting Craig in a ground level headlock!
Moss: Cogan is able to slip out of it and get behind Avenger. As he rises up, Cogan goes for a back suplex but Avenger back flips out of it!
JK: What a counter! He’s now behind Cogan!
Moss: He grabs him for a roll up but can’t hold it and Cogan escapes!
JK: Cogan is back up and charging at the Avenger!
Moss: Avenger ducks a clothesline. He catches Cogan with a reverse neckbreaker!
JK: Avenger wastes no time and drops an elbow, then heads to the top rope!
Moss: He’s going to fly!
JK: Cogan sees it and rolls far away from his opponent, forcing Avenger to come down from the top rope.
Moss: Avenger meets Cogan in the middle of the ring but is finally caught with the drop toe hold!!!
JK: Avenger’s face smashes on the mat! Cogan drops into the cover!
1!!!
2!!!
KICK OUT!!!
Moss: Close call for the shock of the tournament!
JK: Cogan picks up Avenger but Avenger hits a textbook fireman carry.
Moss: Cogan springs back up but right into a hip toss from Avenger!
JK: Avenger grabs Cogan and sends him into the ropes.
Moss: REVERSAL!
JK: Avenger comes off the ropes and leaps with a flying forearms smash!!!
Moss: Cogan is down!
JK: Avenger taking a moment to shake off the damage. Cogan is starting to stir!
Moss: Cogan is up and faces his opponent, but catches a clothesline for his troubles.
JK: HE DUCKED IT!
Moss: Cogan gets behind Avenger. Reverse waist lock. Elbow to the head!
JK: Avenger sends Cogan off the ropes.
Moss: FLAPJACK!
JK: Cogan just bounced off the top rope and is flailing!
Moss: Avenger grabs him again and hits a stun gun!
JK: What a follow up!
Moss: Cogan slings right off the ropes and staggers around, holding his neck.
JK: GOOZLE!!!!!
Moss: Avenger nails the Chokeslam!!! And he covers!!!!!!
1!!!
2!!!
3!!!
DING DING DING
Mitchell Dennis: Here is your winner, The Aveennngggggeeeeerrrrrr!!!!!!!!!
JK: What a win for Avenger! Back to you, regular commentary team!
Vinegar: Thanks Jordan! And just like that, Avenger is on his way to the finals of the WrestleStock Tournament finals!
Covert Jay: We have our hero!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Vinegar: Our next tournament match is going to be covered in the Devil’s District with Hank and Ed Leonard on commentary!
Covert Jay: Dave Rydell’s cronies?
Vinegar: You betcha!
Leiberjosch: Well I guess when the writers were told to change things up, they at least did the bare minimum…

Wrestlestock Open Semi-Final Montague Cervantes vs Larry Tact
Vinegar: Folks we are now turning over the show to the Piercing Media District. Commentary team will be the Knowledge Llama and Pepper Phoenix!
Covert Jay: I sure do love the knowledge Llama.
Leiberjosch: This place is weirder and weirder every day.
Vinegar: Pepper! Llama, over to you!
Pepper: Thanks Nick! Knowledge Llama, how are you?
Llama: *spits* I am how I am.
Pepper: Right. Let’s just get right to the action.
Mitchell Dennis: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and is a semi final match in the WrestleStock Tournament!
“In the Face of Evil” by Magic Sword over the arena speakers as the lights cut out. Red and white lights scan the crowd before all the lights cut out. A single crimson spotlight shines down on Larry Tact at the top of the entrance stage. He opens his arms and puffs out his chest, soaking in the crowd’s reaction before bellowing and making his way down the ramp, the spotlight following him. As he walks, Larry critiques some fans at ringside with petty insults before arriving to the ring. He pulls himself up using the ropes and walks slowly along the apron before wiping his boots and entering the ring as the house light come back on. He stretches using the ropes, smoothes back his hair and bounces from side-to-side, zeroed in on the battle ahead.
Mitchell Dennis: Introducing first, weighing in at 260 lbs, Larrryyyyyyyy Taaaaaccccctttttt!!
The sound of a winding filmstrip can be heard as the arena is bathed in dim sepia light. A trumpet sounds accompanied by a spotlight emanating from the curtain. It backlights a man in a top hat, with a cane slung over his left shoulder. As a tinny voice begins to sing, the silhouetted figure moves along with the directions of the lyrics.
As you can see
I go back and forth
That's right
Side to side
Back and forth
Back and forth
Back and side to side
The music picks up some energy right as the spotlight switches to shine from the rafters, illuminating the grinning face of Montague Cervantes dressed in an elaborate jacket and a jauntily-cocked top hat. When the auto-tuned verse begins, "Listen to me, Listen to me" he starts making his way toward the ring, turning, flourishing, bowing, and two stepping along with the music.
Mitchell Dennis: And his opponent, weighing in at 263 lbs, Montagguuueeee Ceeerrrrvvvaaaaannntttesssss!!!
DING DING DING
Pepper: Please note that during his entrance, Montague’s curiosities arrived on the scene.
Llama: Quite the curious bunch indeed.
Pepper: Indeed. And here we go.
Llama: An arm drag right off the bat from Larry. Monty sliding across the ring, to a knee.
Pepper: Whoever plans these out sure does love chain wrestling and technical moves. Especially arm drags.
Llama: It’s more of an arm throw, since he’s technically not dragging someone.
Pepper: Right…
Llama: Both men lock back up in the middle of the ring. Monty gets Larry in a side headlock, but it doesn’t last long as Larry shoves Monty into the ropes. On the rebound Monty swings for a clothesline.
Pepper: Larry ducks under the clothesline and hits the ropes himself. He rushes Monty on the rebound and leaps for a flying forearm but misses!
Llama: Monty rolled under it and gets free. Larry crashes to the mat but is able to get right back up.
Pepper: Monty is quick to get near his opponent and hits a back suplex. He covers Larry!
1!!!
Kickout.
Llama: Not quite enough, even for a 2 count.
Pepper: Monty pulls Larry up and sends him into the corner. He starts hitting body shots on his opponent but Larry covers up and fights his way out.
Llama: Larry reverses and get Monty in the corner himself! He continues with body shots of his own!
Pepper: Larry pulls Monty out but Monty struggles free and goes for a suplex.
Llama: Larry is able to float over the back and hits a kickswing DDT! He plants Monty!
Pepper: Larry drops into the cover!
1!!!
Kickout.
Llama: Another short count as these two are ready to go the distance!
Pepper: Larry pulls Monty up and sends him off the ropes. On the rebound, he knees Monty in the gut and sets him up for the Tactilizer!!!
Llama: Monty lifts up and flips Larry over! Larry crashes to the mat!
Pepper: As Larry is getting up, Monty runs the ropes. And back across the ring he goes!
Llama: Lament for a Toy Factory!!!!!!!!!!!!
Pepper: WAIT! COUNTER!
Llama: LARRY CAUGHT HIM MID AIR!!! THE HUMBLING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Pepper: Larry drops into the cover again!
1!!!
2!!!
THR-KICKOUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Llama: Montague kicked out just in time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Pepper: Larry pulls Montague up as he doesn’t want to waste any time on this match. Monty is able to quickly roll up his opponent but let’s go immediately as it pauses what’s happening in the match.
Llama: Larry slides away and Monty gets to a knee.
Pepper: Wait, what’s this?
Llama: One of Monty’s curiosities is up on the apron! He’s whistling? It’s so loud! I hate it.
Pepper: He’s a very old looking fella. I do like his hat though. Very wide. But his bag is kinda generic.
Llama: Larry is not a big fan of the whistling. He’s covering his ears while he is trying to shoe the old man off the apron.
Pepper: Monty gets behind him and clubs him! The old man drops off the apron and Monty sets Larry up near the corner on the ropes!
Llama: Monty rushes and swings around the turnbuckle. CAROUSEL KICK!!!!!!!!!
Pepper: Monty gets right back up and smirks!
Llama: He pulls Larry up and sets him up for the Big Finish but as Monty shows off for the elbow drop, Larry pops right up and spins Monty around!
Pepper: A massive right hand to the jaw!!
Llama: Monty is staggered and Larry gets in position.

IWF Invictus Championship Angel Blake vs Matt Knox
Vinegar: Let's hear from our friends in the IWF commentary booth!
Iyo Kenshin: Welcome in to those of you that have been touring the lovely Crusader District here at WrestleStock! My name is Iyo Kenshin, and I am seated -as always- alongside my broadcast partner Rayne!
Rayne: Partner feels like a strong word. They pay me -well, may I add- to sit here next to you and do the lions-share of the work. I'm more like your meal ticket, Iyo.
Iyo Kenshin: I disagree, Rayne. One thing I believe we both can agree on, however, is we have quite a match up in store tonight as the IWF legend and Hall of Famer, Angel Blake, challenges the Raven Matt Knox for the top prize on our Odyssey brand- the prestigious Invictus Championship!
Rayne: The Invictus Championship is an inter-gender championship that represents the true spirit of the fight! It is also one of the few championships that Angel Blake hasn't worn around his waist in the IWF yet! I do stress the word yet in that statement though because in thirty minutes, or less, I am confident that is about to change!
Iyo Kenshin: In order for that to change the multi-time former World Heavyweight Champion is going to have to defeat what will no doubt be a very motivated champion, Mr Invictus Totalus himself, the Matt Knox; a man that's lengthy resume doesn't stand inferior in the face of Angel's own, and a man hellbent on ensuring Angel Blake becomes the one thing he perhaps fears most: forgotten. Lets take it down to the ring for our in-ring introductions...
{ All the lights in the arena go out as words blaze across the Imperitron. }
“Blessed are the wicked who are healed by my hands.”
{ The entire arena absolutely explodes with boos as the opening notes of the orchestra version of Gateways begins to play as flames erupt across the stage like napalm. Slowly Angel Blake begins to rise from within the flames with his arms outstretched wearing a long black coat with the birth-date of his baby girl embroidered on the back. Angel throws his arms up in the air as the metal version of Gateways takes over and really kicks into gear. Flames erupt all the way down the stage and ignite the ring posts as well as the lyrics finally kick in. }
The core principle of freedom Is the only notion to obey The formula of evolution and sin Leading the way
{ Angel steps out of the flames looking over to the crowd with a terrible grin before looking toward the ring. He scowls as he begins to walk, flames erupting behind him with every step. Angel finally reaches the ring, lifting his coat to walk up the steps. He stops on the apron and looks out toward the crowd as the song blasts. Blake throws his arms out and his head back as the arena lights go up to a blinding level. Blake turns and steps into the ring with confidence heading over to the far corner. The chorus comes back around as Angel stands up on the second turnbuckle and crosses his arms over his head in an X. Blake hops down and turns his back to the corner and throws his coat off as the music dies down. }
Rayne: One simple question for you, Iyo- does that look like a man that fears anything? He has stood under the brightest of lights on the biggest stages, waged some of the bloodiest battles this company has ever witnessed, and more often than not he has came out on top.
Iyo Kenshin: I won't take anything away from the in-ring abilities of Angel Blake, but perhaps more than anyone, he should understand there are lines in this industry you do not cross such as approaching eight year old Pénélope Linette; the daughter of professional wrestler and girlfriend of Matthew Knox, Xaria Linette.
Rayne: He told her a story, Iyo. Try not to be so dramatic.
{ The houselights cut out, a single Raven cries out soon joined by another, then another until the cries of an entire unkindness fill the house sound system, soon broken by "Hell Broke Luce" by Tom Waits cutting through, the house lights coming up to a dull blue as a single white strobe light pulses in time to the song's percussion. Standing in the middle of that pulsing light, back to the ring, stands Matthew Knox adorned in his ring gear and a sleeveless hoodie. Arms outstretched like a bird in flight he pivots on a heel and begins making his way to the ring, sliding under the bottom rope and picking a corner to charge and leap upon to scream the audience into a frenzy. He takes a lap around the ring, before kneeling in a corner and patiently waiting for the formal introductions to commence. }
Iyo Kenshin: As we get a glimpse into the cold, piercing eyes of the champion staring across the ring at Angel Blake... it feels important to note that he clearly isn't intimidated by Blake. He looks focused and ready to try to stave off the challenge of Angel.
Rayne: He may think he is. I don't doubt he thinks he is. Last time he was in the ring with Angel, he admitted he took Angel lightly in so many words. I know someone as experienced as Knox and as accomplished as Knox won't make that same mistake again. His resume isn't an accident. As someone that's been in a ring and prepared for fights myself though, I can tell you there is a very fine line when it comes to the mindset you need to get yourself into though. You don't want to be dismissive of your own opponent, but you need to also be careful of not building the fight up to much inside of your head.
{ The camera shifts to IWF ring announcer Alison Valance for the introductions. }
Alison Valance: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and has a thirty minute time limit! It will be for the IWF Invictus Championship! Introducing first, to my right, the challenger... he stands 6'1" and weighs in at two hundred twenty-eight pounds... from Litchfield Hills, Connecticut... Angel Blake!
{ Angel flashes a sinister grin as the crowd boos him. }
Alison Valance: And to my left, he is the IWF Invictus Champion!!!... standing 6'6" tall and weighing in at two hundred forty-four pounds... from Monterey, CA.... the Raven Matthew Knox!
{ Having remained kneeling for the entirety of the introductions, the Raven finally pops up and raises his championship in the air to a thunderous ovation! The Raven turns and hands his championship to the official for this contest -former wrestler, now turned referee- Doc. }
Iyo Kenshin: For those familiar with history there may be a bit of an interesting sub-plot in this match-up that dates back to NCW as we see Doc holding the championship in the air. Angel Blake stole the Genocide Kick -a move he has used to defeat many, many opponents- from Doc after triumphing over him in their last match against each other. There is a lot of animosity that exists between those two men still to this day.
Rayne: Which makes me wonder who the idiot was that thought it would be a great idea to have Doc officiate this match!? Do you know how many people on my shitlist that I'd have royally screwed over if I put on that striped shirt? Hundreds, Iyo! Hundred!
Iyo Kenshin: To many it does mean something when you put on that shirt, though. You become part of an official brotherhood with an obligation to uphold the rules and regulations of this sport to the best of your abilities.
{ Doc passes the championship out to a personnel member at ringside as Alison exits the ring. The official asks both men if they're ready to go and they give him affirmative answers. With that, Doc calls for the opening bell! }
Ding!
Iyo Kenshin: The big fight feel is in the air, Rayne! We are underway!
Rayne: Knox is going right at Angel too!
Iyo Kenshin: The Champion starts off with a Teep Kick! Those long limbs of Knox paying dividends early as that long range straight foot-thrust caught Angel directly in the solar plexus! Knox tying Angel up in a Muay Thai Plum... using those knees to do damage to Blake's midsection!
Rayne: I don't think it'd be crazy to assume that Matt would love to break a rib or two of Angel's with those knees!
Iyo Kenshin: Knox driving Angel back into a corner, still burying those knees... the challenger is in the difficult position of not being able to push forward, nor being able to retreat! The official is going to start a count on Knox!
One!
...
Two!
...
Three!
...
{ Knox aggressively walks Angel out in the clinch, transitioning it into a double arm DDT! Rather than go for a cover, Knox folds Angel forward into a seated position instead and unleash a series of devastating hammer and anvil style elbow shots to Blake's head and neck area! The crowd counts along, reaching the count of eight before Knox stops abruptly to wrestle Angel up and take him over with a release German Suplex that dumps the challenger on the back of his neck hard! Momentum carries Angel's body into a face-down position on the canvas. Seven seconds later, Knox pushes in, shoving Angel onto his back with a boot and putting one foot on the challenger's chest for a cover! The referee slides into position for a count! }
One! No!
{ Blake easily kicks out of the arrogant cover before the official's hand finishes the upswing on the two! }
Rayne: That wasn't meant to beat Angel, that was meant to embarrass him! I don't know how smart it is to toy with Angel Blake!
Iyo Kenshin: The champion is rather sarcastically asking the official if that was a three count, which love him or hate him for his arrogance, is who Matt Knox is! The Raven going back to work now, dragging Angel's carcass off the mat... and he shoots him into a corner...
{ Matt charges in, but Angel slips out in a very timely fashion to prevent a running European Uppercut by Knox from landing! Blake travels the length of the ring with haste as Knox stumbles out of the corner clutching his side. Blake bounces off the ropes and topples Knox with a leaping knee to the jaw! Blake mounts his adversary, raining down stiff closed fists onto the champion's face and head with a ferocity! The beating draws some boos from the crowd as Angel continues to dole it out! He finally stops, only to wrap both hands around Knox's throat with an illegal choke, stealing the very air from Matt Knox's lungs! Knox's coughs and gags as his face turns a bright shade of red. The referee hastily starts a count on Angel to obtain a break... }
One!
...
Two!
...
Three!
...
{ Doc changes tact, intervening to physically pull Angel off of the choke and shoving him backwards just a little. Blake gives Doc a two-handed shove to the chest, but the official shows no back-down. Doc steps nose-to-nose with Angel while pointing to the IWF logo on his referee shirt. Blake pushes past the official and delivers a stiff kick to Knox's head. Blake takes hold of one of Knox's ankles and dives into the inside of his left knee with an elbow drop. Blake keeps control of the leg, repeating the process. Lather, rinse, repeat for the third and final elbow drop! Knox grimaces as he takes a swipe at Angel that catches nothing but air. Angel Blake aggressively drags Knox across the mat by his ankle before placing it on the bottom rope. Angel uses a foot to keep his foe's ankle stationary on the rope, then leaps into the air and drives his own knee into the side of Matt Knox's knee! }
Rayne: It may have been a rocky start to the match for Angel, but now it's time for him to do what he does best: dissecting a body part with surgical precision!
Iyo Kenshin: He typically isn't one to inspire feelings of warm and fuzzies, but there is an added level of ruthlessness and aggression in Angel's assault on Knox! By breaking down his adversary's vertical base, he does take away a large portion of the Raven's arsenal too.
Rayne: A guy that has been doing this for over a decade knows what to do in the ring. Imagine that.
Iyo Kenshin: Your sarcasm is noted but not appreciated, Rayne.
{ Blake dips to the outside, pulling Knox's leg underneath the bottom rope with him. Angel uses the edge of the ring apron to his advantage, lifting Knox's leg up and slamming his knee down over it! The Hall of Famer turns Knox like a pancake, lifting his leg and driving the front of his knee into the apron with authority this time! The Raven's body recoils and he instinctively rolls toward the middle of the ring while holding his knee in anguish. The Raven does his damnedest to try to pick himself up off the canvas in defiance as Angel re-enters the ring. Blake cuts the Raven down with a chop-block as the clocks draws near the ten minute mark of the match. With nearly a third of the allotted time already spent, Angel brings Knox off the canvas and transitions him into a rolling knee bar with a straight legged finish! }
Iyo Kenshin: The Invictus Champion has found himself in a rather perilous position as Angel Blake is ripping at that knee joint of the Raven's! The risk here for Matthew is it takes a mere three pounds of pressure to break a fully extended knee in that position!
Rayne: Obviously championships are everything in this sport but you also have to ask yourself, if you're Knox, do I want to potentially sacrifice the next twelve months of my career by not tapping out here!
Iyo Kenshin: If he taps out he loses the Invictus Championship though, Rayne! These may be the same thoughts going through Matt Knox's head as we see the pain etched across his face!
Rayne: This much I can promise you-- Angel Blake will break that leg if he has to! He may break that leg simply because he wants to!
{ The referee alertly notices Knox's shoulders touching the canvas and dives down for a count. }
One! No!!
{ Knox shoots his left shoulder up! }
Iyo Kenshin: Tremendous officiating by Doc there! Knox may not have even realized his own shoulders were on the canvas as the pain surges through his body until he had started to be counted down!
Rayne: Knox is going to Angel's eyes with that lefthand!
Iyo Kenshin: Never let it be said that Matthew Knox is a boy-scout! It is an effective escape nonetheless, but now it's Matthew hearing an earful from the official!
Rayne: Are you kidding me!? If Angel had done that you'd be screaming bloody murder, Iyo!
Iyo Kenshin: You fight fire with fire sometimes, Rayne.
{ Knox limps to his feet -and despite the pain he's in- changes stances to use his injured left leg for a switch that lands hard in Angel's ribs! Barely able to stand, Knox lunges into Angel and punishes his chin with a European style uppercut! Blake tries to spin Knox to set-up for "Revelations" but Knox keeps the momentum going to level Blake with a clothesline! Both men collapse, Knox's arm draped over Angel's body! The referee slides into position for a count! }
One! Two! No!!!
{ Angel has the wherewithal to lift his shoulder off the canvas! Knox rolls over onto his back, grabbing at his knee as he sits up. Blake's rolls away from Knox, trying to create some distance while he recovers. Neither competitor looks particularly fresh at this juncture of the match. On his hands and knees, Angel starts to crawl for the corner. Knox wills himself up off the canvas and starts a very slow pursuit of Angel, badly limping on his leg. With the aid of the ropes, Angel starts to pull himself up. With a shaky base, Knox tries to throw a weak roundhouse that his adversary puts his hands up to block. Angel picks Knox up and deposits his face into the turnbuckle with a flap jack in the corner. Blake shoves Knox out, and the Invictus Champion stumbles to a knee. Stepping through the ropes, Angel heads out onto the apron and starts the climb up the turnbuckles. The Raven grits his teeth and charges in though, shoving Blake's legs out from underneath him. Angel lands perched on the top turnbuckle and Knox starts to climb the corner from inside the ring. The two rivals trade a few closed fists as the crowd goes back and forth between "boo" and "yay" chants! Knox, either through hatred or sheer force of will, starts to gain an edge in the exchange, allowing him to set up and take Angel off the turnbuckles with... }
Rayne: Where in the hell did Knox find that from!?
Iyo Kenshin: The wounded Champion is trying to dig down as this capacity crowd stands on their feet here at WrestleStock! Could this be Matthew Knox's night!? Could he do what so few are able!?
{ The referee has to start a standing ten count on both men. }
One!
...
Two!
...
Three!
...
Four!
...
Five!
...
{ Knox finally pulls himself up, gingerly trying to stalk Angel. Equally determined, Angel won't stay down! Knox draws in a breath of air into battle weary lungs and delivers an axe kick to Angel that puts him back down! Knox presses, almost stumbling around on his leg as he hoists Angel up and delivers a "Into the Void"! Knox's bad knee connects with Blake's jaw causing the Raven to let out a cry of anguish! Blake falls lifelessly to the canvas! }
Iyo Kenshin: Matthew Knox crawling on his belly!... Draping an arm over Angel!
{ The referee slides into position for a count! }
One! Two!! Three!!!
{ Doc calls for the bell! }
Ding! Ding! Ding!
Iyo Kenshin: Matthew Knox has done it! Matthew Knox has vanquished Angel Blake here at WrestleStock to retain his Invictus Championship!
Rayne: I don't know if you can call it an upset but it sure is hell isn't how I thought this one would go!
{ The Raven's music hits as he rolls back off the cover, soaking in the deafening cheers and applause of the audience. Unable to even stand, the Raven simply sits up and eventually takes his title from the referee. He stares into it's face momentarily before holding it in the air as he sits on the canvas next to Angel's fallen body. }

Vivian Blake: The following is a tag team contest…scheduled for one fall!
Crowd: ONE FALL!
Vivian Blake: Introducing first…at a combined weight of 337 lbs…the team of Willa Stoneheart and the Zion Wrestling Internet Champion…Ricky! Rodriguez!
[BELL RINGS]
We open up the match with Willa and Austin circling the ring to test each other out. Austin would shoot in with some low kicks to the legs to keep her at bay. Willa, however, would get annoyed as she blitzed Austin for a tackle. She goes to take her to the ground, but, Austin would trip her up with a drop toe hold. She goes for an armbar attempt, but Willa would wriggle out of the hold and gets to her feet.
Austin goes for another thrust kick, but, Willa anticipated it and caught her leg. She would lift her up and catches her with a spinebuster, looking for a pin attempt.
ONE…!
TWO…!
Austin kicked out, as Willa would get Austin up, and delivered a stiff chop to the chest. She readied for a suplex, but Austin blocked and reversed the move back onto her. She gets Sayge in for a tag, and readied her for a forward Russian Leg Sweep, as Sayge combined it with a European Uppercut.
Sayge would follow through, setting up for a Pendulum Backbreaker, as she planted Willa on her knee, and goes for another cover, but it's broken up by Ricky. Sayge would go over to him and talk some trash, which gave Willa some time to recover, as she rushed in with double knees to her back in the corner. She tagged Ricky in, which he lifted her up for a suplex, as Willa flies through with a crossbody for the combination. He then follows through with a seated surfboard, looking to wear down the stronger member of the Dames. Wrenching her arms back, he was looking to take her arms out of their sockets, but she fought to her feet. He would release, and struck her in the back of the head with a forearm shot, as Sayge stumbled forward and dropped to one knee. Ricky would continue to target her left arm, looking for a standing crossface on her, but Sayge powered up with a forearm to his face, and shoved him back for separation. She stumbled back to her corner for a blind tag, as Ricky rushed at Sayge for a shotgun dropkick, but his legs were caught. Sayge would let out an "Ayo!" before giving him a spin on the Cyclone! As Ricky would gain momentum from the swing, Austin entered the ring to make a sudden stop with a low dropkick, as she went for a cover.
ONE…!
TWO…!
Willa breaks up the pin, as Austin rolls off of her. Sayge gets on the corner with something in her hand, as Austin gets Ricky up, looking to give him a taste of his own medicine with a Fujiwara Armbar. However, Ricky is too strong and fresh to stay down for long, as he fights out of the move. Austin throws a punch, but she is caught and planted with a Hammerlock Suplex for her trouble, as the two armbar specialists would try to weaken each other.
Suddenly, the corner post where Willa was at would start to let off some fireworks that were planned for someone's pyro, as she screamed while falling to the outside, blinded. Ricky was distracted by this, checking on her, as Austin would capitalize with a Jailbreaker kick. She moved him to their corner and tagged Sayge in, before climbing to the top rope. Sayge would clutch Ricky, and turned him over, presenting him for Austin to follow up with a diving foot stomp as Sayge planted him with the CTRL + ALT + DELETE, and the pin.
ONE…!
TWO…!
THREE!!
[BELL RINGS]
Vivian Blake: The winners of this match…The Data! Dames!
The DataDames take the victory here, with Sayge Gonzalez especially scoring what can only be defined as an upset victory by pinning the Internet Champion! What will come of this in the future? That has yet to be seen.

Wrestlestock Open Semi-Final Jason Cashe vs Ezra Wolf
Vinegar: Folks, we are going to take you down to the Devil’s District. We have a very welcoming commentary team, who have apparently not left that district since they tried Chaos’ secret bbq. Apparently one of them has just given Chaos a giant bag of cash to keep it coming…
Leiberjosch: What the hell?
Vinegar: I don’t know. WrestleStock is just… It’s a place where things and stuff happen!
Covert Jay: Things and stuffs!!!!!!!
Vinegar: Alright, let’s turn it over to our commentary team in the Devil’s District, Ed Leonard and Hank… well, Hank!
Hank: Thanks Nick!
Vinegar: No problem. Do you not share your last name?
Hank: Last name?
Covert Jay: Wait. Do you not have a last name?
Hank: Oh look! More wings! Gotta run guys!
As the cameras fade fully into the Devil’s District, we see the huge gathering of all people. It’s a true wonderful and awesome experience. The ringside camera shows one of DMW’s prospects bringing Ed and Hank the next batch of wings. Hank, who seems like he hasn’t changed in days, grabs it and digs in
Ed Leonard: Can you at least wait until the end of the match? This is the only work we need to do.
Hank: *with a mouth full of chicken wings* I guess so…
Mitchell Dennis: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and is a semi final match in the WrestleStock Tournament!
Ezra Wolf makes his way out of the curtain as ‘California Love’ by A Joker’s Rage comes blaring out of the speakers and pauses at the top of the ramp. He heads towards the ring, slapping hands and singing along to his entrance music closely flanked by Mr. Pax. He walks up the stairs and hops onto the apron before stepping up onto the middle turnbuckle. He pauses to play the air guitar a bit before stepping on the top rope and jumping into the ring. As he lands, he rolls forward and ends up on one knee in the center of the ring. Ezra throws him arms and head back, letting out a primal scream before tearing off his entrance gear. He hands it to Mr. Pax then takes a knee in his corner as he waits for the match to begin.
Mitchell Dennis: Introducing first, he is the Red Eyed Warriorrrrr… Ezraaaaaa Wooooooolllllllffffff!!!
The hymn-like hum vibrates through the area before Lauren Hill soundfully brings in the chorus to "Ready or Not". Jason Cashe comes out from the back. Looking around the arena at the live audience. Taking a long drag off an air joint, Cashe howls up into the sky, a few fans howl with him..
Mitchell Dennis: Born in Atlanta but branded in Houston.. A truly Troubled One.. THE DiOGee.. Jaaaassoooon! CAAAASHE!!
Stopping as the aisle turns to ringside, Cashe drags a foot creating an imaginary line. This is the line where when passed, the talking stops. He steps into a jog, leaping up on the apron onto his left knee. He stands, ducking under the top rope to enter the ring. Growling into a roar at the live audience! Cashe was ready to scrap.
DING DING DING
Hank: Ezra Wolf, who had quite an easy first round match, is coming out of the gates rather quickly!
Ed: He catches Jason off guard with a flurry of strikes from his knees, shins, and even elbows! Jason staggers back into the corner, trying to cover up.
Hank: Ezra grabs him by the head, pulling him out of the corner, hitting a snapmare, into a seated reverse chin lock.
Ed: He’s pulling back, trying to get Jason to give up quickly, but it isn’t happening.
Hank: Jason is able to maneuver out of the hold, catching Ezra off guard.
Ed: The two are back up standing and trading hands with one another. Lefts and rights.
Hank: Ezra, once more staggers Jason back and charges at him, hitting a rolling hip toss! He drops on top of Jason and starts his ground assault.
Ed: Mounting on top of Jason Cashe with a flurry of forearm strikes and punches!
Hank: Jason is able to reverse the mount and starts dishing out strikes of his own to Ezra. Ezra, trying to cover up, but cannot.
Ed: He’s taking a number of shots to the head!
Hank: Jason gets off of Ezra and pulls him up, sending him off the ropes. On the rebound, he catches Ezra and hits a back body drop.
Ed: Jason goes to grab Ezra again but Ezra has slid out of the ring!
Hank: As the referee’s count begins, Jason slides out and continues the attack. Grabbing Ezra and whipping him into the steps.
Ed: Ezra reverses and sends Jason towards the steps instead! Jason jumps and lands on top! He turns and jumps off, hitting a cross body on Ezra on the outside!
Hank: As the referee reaches 6 on the count, Jason gets up and grabs Ezra, both getting back in the ring.
Ed: Jason pulls Ezra up and sends him into the corner. He charges and follows with a clothesline. Ezra staggers out.
Hank: Jason guides him to the middle of the ring and hits a snap suplex. He’s now pacing this match to his own liking.
Ed: Jason grabs Ezra once more but Ezra rolls him up in a small package out of nowhere!

Kick out!!!
Hank: Ezra slides away, creating some distance. Jason does the same thing
Ed: The two head back towards each other and lock up.
Hank: Ezra is able to get behind Jason with a reverse waist lock. He goes for a German suplex but Jason blocks it and rolls forward, sending Ezra forward as well.
Ed: Ezra rolls through and gets himself upright, taking no damage from the counter.
Hank: Jason gets up and Ezra stalks behind him.
Ed: As Jason turns… KNEE JERK REACTION!!!
Hank: Jason ducked it just in time!! Jason quickly grabs Ezra and hits a quick sleeper slam!!
Ed: Jason is about to go for the cover but Ezra rolls away towards the ropes! Great instincts.
Hank: Jason pulls him back to the center of the ring but Ezra is able to kick his way out of the attack!

Cage Match
UGWC Cross Hemisphere Championship
‘The Bogeyman’ JC vs Zane Scott
Covert Jay: Exciting news break!!
Lieberjosch: I don't want to live on this planet anymore.
Vinegar: The Falcor was spotted floating over Yuma just before we switched back to UGWC feed!
Covert Jay: Witnesses on the ground can swear they hear shouting and meaty pounding echoing from the bow of the ship!
Lieberjosch: MOVING ON - We're headed to the Devil's District where the commentary team from CU:LT will be bringing us the main event!
The camera sweeps over the raucous crowd, the sea of rowdy spectators eagerly awaiting the mayhem about to unfold. In the heart of the Devil's District, hidden from the prying eyes of the law, the atmosphere crackles with anticipation. A large, imposing steel cage stands as the center. The Devil's Most Wanted Motorcycle Club, notorious for their wild exploits, looms in the shadows, their members mingling with the crowd. Tattoos adorned with wicked designs peek from beneath their leather jackets, and the scent of gasoline and burnt rubber lingers in the air.
Amidst the masses, food trucks line the perimeter, their tantalizing aromas wafting through the night air. Chaos, the mastermind behind the BBQ food truck, brings his West Virginia roots to the forefront. With a devilish grin, he serves up his unique take on brisket, ribs, and pulled pork, infused with his secret rub and sauce recipes. The flavors are bold, smoky, and perfectly complemented by the fiery spirits flowing freely from the bar. The camera captures the frenzy of the horde, their faces illuminated by the dim glow of neon lights that flicker sporadically. Shouts and cheers mingle with the revving of motorcycle engines, creating a symphony of noise that echoes through the Devil's District.
No barricades exist to keep the audience at bay, and the thralling masses have closed in as close as possible to the ring, their collective energy palpable. Sweat-drenched bodies press against each other as the fervor builds, tensions mounting with every passing second. The camera comes to a rest ringside, where Combat Unlimited Lethal Trials very own Stacey Sting, wearing a low cut white blouse and matching blazer, and Bill Foote - decked to the nines in an all-black cowboy tuxedo, complete with a cow skull bolo tie - sit ringside.
STING: Hello everybody, my name is Stacey Sting. Joining me as always is my broadcast partner, the one and fortunately the only, Bill “Is-That-The-Lowest-You’ll-Go” Foote.
FOOTE: That’s right everybody, my name is Bill Foote. Nothing says the United States of America quite like closing yourself into a cage and beating the ever loving piss out anyone who may in any way have wronged you in any way. Neighbors, co-workers, the staff at the local McDonalds. Whether it's a dispute over the outcome of a heated game of Monopoly with your own dear grandmother or a clash between billionaires vying to claim the rights to a stolen invention, when you step into the cage, only one thing matters: you survive long enough to step back out.
STING: The build up for this clash in the cage has been months. Years. I’ve only been recently watching it explode on social media and Bill, when they told us we had the opportunity to come and cover this match - something with this intensity. An honor. A privilege. Tale of the tape - pound for pound, inch for inch, it can’t get much closer than this.
FOOTE: You’re telling me. Matches like this make my dick so hard I had to write a haiku just to prevent myself from expressing my emotions all over a picture of Stacey’s mother. Two big meaty men, grunting inside of a cage. Human meat grinder.
STING: Beautiful. Concerning.
The arena trembles with a deep, resonating bassline, accompanied by the haunting melody of ‘Break Those Bones Whose Sinews Gave Them Motion’ by Meshuggah. Amidst the pulsating rhythm, a figure emerges from the abyss, his towering presence commanding attention. The dimmed lights flicker to life, casting eerie shadows across the cage and illuminating the path of pain leading towards the ring.
CHILDERS: Introducing first, the challenger - standing at a towering 6’6 and weighting in at 265 pounds. He is the Personification of Pain - ‘The PROFESSIONAL’ ZANE SCOTT!!!
The enthralling melody swells to its crescendo as Zane stalks down towards the ring, the crowd parting like the dead seas before him. His eyes burn with an intensity that pierces through the souls of those who dare meet his gaze. In that moment, the air crackles with anticipation, as if the very essence of pain and power hover in the atmosphere. With a sudden burst of energy, he ascends the steel steps, and the cage door creaks open, inviting him into the heart of the battle. The mob suddenly roars in unison as he steps foot into the cage.
CHILDERS: AND his opponent, the current UGWC CROSS-HEMISPHERE CHAMPIOOOOOOOOOON. From East Rutherford, New Jersey, he is the BOOOGEYMAN, JAYYYYYYY CEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
The lights abruptly dim, shrouding the arena in an ominous hush. The haunting melody of Ghost's "Hunter's Moon’ begins to echo through the air, its spectral notes weaving a sinister tapestry. As the music swells and the anticipation reaches its zenith, a second massive figure steps forth from the depths of the abyss. The lights glimmer across the Cross-Hemisphere title pulled tightly around his waist. From beneath the Michael Myers mask, he gazes out at the makeshift arena, relishing in their reactions, his presence invoking a mix of awe and trepidation.
With measured determination, 'The Bogeyman' JC begins his steady march toward the ring. Captivated by his eerie presence, the masses find themselves unable to tear their eyes away from this embodiment of darkness. Upon reaching the squared circle, 'The Bogeyman' JC ascends the stairs, turning back out to the crowd which are only inches away. In a horrifying tableau, they reach up towards him just as he removes the mask that conceals his face. His piercing eyes gaze into the audience who can’t help but stare back captivated by what lies beneath, as if peering into the depths of their very owl souls. The chilling atmosphere intensifies as 'The Bogeyman' peels the belt from his waist - only to culminate to an explosion from the Devil District when he hoists it to the sky. As the echoes of Ghost's haunting melody fade into the abyss, JC turns to Zane, whose eyes have not left the champion for even a second. The referee ringside opens the door.
STING: A tie up, a hammerlock - don’t expect to see much of that taking place in this one. These two want to rip each other apart and the moment that cage is closed, there will be nothing in either of their way.
Handing off the belt, JC climbs into the ring and the referees proceed to slide the latch into place, sealing the two monstrous men into the cage. The tension is immediately palpable, each man continuing right from where they left off on social media, bad mouthing their opponent. The sound of the bell pierces the silence, signaling the commencement of the battle. Yet neither man lunges into action. Instead, they stand locked in an intense stare-down, eyes burning with unyielding determination. The arena trembles with the raw energy radiating from these formidable adversaries, their gazes locked in a primal clash of wills. The onlookers gathered ringside pound against the unforgiving steel cage, a chorus of demands and fervent pleas. The spectators yearn for the eruption of violence, their collective anticipation reaching a fever pitch. The deafening roar of the crowd intertwines with the pulsating beat of adrenaline emanating from the ring where the combatants are locked in an unbreakable stalemate.
And then, as if summoned by the collective will of the world, the battle begins. Both combatants rush forward to unleash a tempest of fury; the steel reverberates with each impact, as JC and Zane unleash a flurry of punishing strikes upon each other. Their fists collide with bone-crushing force, and then in a moment of calculated aggression, Zane seizes the Bogeyman’s head in a muay thai style clench before delivering a devastating knee strike, momentarily halting the champion's assault. However, fueled by an unyielding resolve, JC snaps his head forward. The headbutt connects with a resounding thud, sending Zane reeling in agony.
FOOTE: How is either one of these men standing?
Zane harnesses the momentum by rebounding off the ropes before propelling himself towards JC, looking to cut him down with a clothesline. However, with the reflexes of a striking serpent, JC anticipates the incoming strike and swiftly ducks under Zane's outstretched arm before hooking it with his own. Swiftly snatching Zane, JC channels his formidable might, simultaneously leveraging his opponents own momentum. In a seamless motion, he hoists Zane's imposing frame high into the air, defying gravity for a fleeting moment before driving him down into the canvas.
STING: Half-and-half suplex from the champion!
FOOTE: The cream always rises to the top, baby!
STING: Come on!
JC lunges forward, his hand outstretched to grab hold of Zane, but before he can make contact, Zane manages to catch him in a double-leg takedown, driving JC forcefully to the mat. Maintaining his relentless grip on JC's legs, Zane refuses to let go as he rises to his feet, despite defensive onslaught coming from the champion. With calculated precision, Zane releases one of JC's legs momentarily, delivering a swift and punishing elbow strike that crashes down upon JC's vulnerable face. In one fluid motion, Zane snatches JC's leg back up, his muscles straining with the effort. With a deep grunt, he arches his back, showcasing his raw power as he violently swings the Bogeyman to the side, propelling him towards the fencing.
The champion careens off the side of the cage, but Zane's doesn’t stop there. He alters his trajectory, redirecting JC's path and forcefully thrusting the other side of his opponent's face into the metal enclosure. The impact echoes throughout the district, igniting a cacophony of thunderous pounding against the steel cage from the bloodthirsty throng. With a third swift twist of his body, he releases JC from his grasp, causing the champion to collide with the bottom turnbuckle
FOOTE: Zane not giving him a moment to breathe!
STING: Take ‘em down, keep ‘em down - that’s the best bet to avoid a Big Boot.
Zane unleashes a rapid succession of short-elbows, each strike finding its mark with deadly accuracy. The relentless assault leaves JC momentarily dazed, his senses reeling. Zane, looking to live up to his name as the ‘The Personification of Pain’, locks his shoulder into place using the bottom rope, holding tight with one hand as he stands upright - the arm, now twisted and strained around the sturdy steel cable. Exposed and vulnerable brings the boots to bear, drilling into the compromised joint.
JC growls in pain.
STING: Zane’s showing a different side of him than I think we have all become accustomed to. This is the man who is known as the walking weapon. He knows this title, he loves this title, it’s got a history for him and he would like to bring it home.
With an abrupt surge of energy, Zane relinquishes his hold on JC, propelling himself against the opposite ropes with explosive force. Like a human projectile, he launches himself through the air, aiming to deliver a final devastating blow to the weakened shoulder. Anticipation fills the air as Zane hurtles towards his target. The Bogeyman summons his remaining strength and rolls away just in the nick of time.
Zane collides with the fencing. The collision is cataclysmic. The unforgiving caging buckles under the sheer force, causing it to burst outward. The fans who had eagerly pressed against the side, desperate to be as close as possible to the champion, are caught in the crossfire. They are sent tumbling backward, a mess of limbs and bodies entangled in a chaotic heap. As the pile of fans attempt to unravel ringside, JC rises to his feet, his eyes burning with intensity, beckoning for the shocked Professional to rise and get what’s coming.
FOOTE: COME ON BABY, WE’RE JUST GETTING STARTED SAYS THE CHAMP. THE SUPLEX CORPS ARE IN THE BUILDING. OO-RAH BITCH!
JC unleashes a powerful clubbing right hand that sends Zane crashing down to one knee. Zane musters his strength, only to be met with a thunderous left hook that instantly drops him back. the Bogeyman beckons Zane to stand, a sinister smile curling on his lips. Snarling with defiance, Zane grits his teeth and forces himself upright, but his defiance is short-lived. JC swiftly retaliates with a devastating big boot to the gut, doubling Zane over in agonizing pain. Seizing the opportunity, JC ensnares Zane in a bearhug, trapping his arms tightly against his sides. The Professional fights back with a headbutt, trying to free himself from JC’s grip. Undeterred, the Bogeyman unleashes a savage headbutt of his own, his skull colliding with Zane's with a sickening thud. Letting out a primal roar, he launches Zane high overhead, hurling him with brutal force into the steel before dropping straight down onto his face. The impact reverberates through the district, the sound of Zane's body meeting the steel echoing ominously. After a brief, stunned pause, the crowd erupts.
HO-LY SHIT! HO-LY SHIT! HO-LY SHIT!
HO-LY SHIT! HO-LY SHIT! HO-LY SHIT!
STING: That’s using your head!
FOOTE: I think he just used Zane’s, it looks like he may have just gotten bust open.
With sadistic fervor, JC's violent boots rain down upon Zane's now bloodied head and neck, each strike causing the open wound to splatter, leaving crimson stains on the mat. Determined to rise, Zane musters every ounce of strength to try and force himself up, however, without mercy, JC seizes Zane by the scruff of his neck, exhibiting the strength of a merciless predator. With an inhuman display of power, he hurls Zane once more, sending him hurtling back-first into the unyielding steel cage with a sickening crash. JC stalks his wounded prey, his eyes gleaming.
As the swarm outside the ring roars in a frenzy of bloodlust, the champion prepares for the coup de grâce. Like a malevolent force of nature, he charges forward, his sights set on unleashing the dreaded Big Boot of Doom. Sensing the impending danger, Zane reacts in desperate self preservation. He ducks low and unleashes an explosive upward strike, meeting JC's thunderous boot head-on as he drives upward with all his might with enough force to not only halt the Bogeyman’s drive, but bring him up off his feet. The Professional pounces, following through with a merciless European uppercut aimed with surgical precision at the already battered shoulder of his adversary. As the champion grimaces in pain, his arm throbbing, Zane capitalizes on his advantage, executing a swift single-leg takedown. Scrambling to pass JC's guard, Zane unleashes a barrage of elbows. JC manages to block the first few, but one sneaks through, connecting with his temple. Blood begins to flow down his cheek.
STING: Things are starting to pick up now, I don’t know if either man will end up the same after this match.
Refusing to be defeated, JC musters his strength and manages to create some distance, pushing Zane back with his knee. However, the tenacious Professional clings onto JC's ankle, refusing to let go. Determined to break free, JC launches a series of kicks with his free foot, aiming to push Zane away. But the Professional swiftly steps back, causing the kicks to miss their target.
Caught in the precarious wheelbarrow position, JC becomes vulnerable as Zane jerks him into his waist before executing a breathtaking suplex that sends JC crashing down with bone-rattling impact. The force of the move leaves JC momentarily dazed, desperately gasping for breath. Zane maintains his grip, transitioning seamlessly into a gut-wrenching German suplex. He hangs on, however, JC drops down low, fighting to break free from Zane's hold. As he gets loose, JC turns swiftly, but before he can fully react, he finds himself caught in the clutches of a devastating spinebuster.
STING: While he may not be a card carrying member of the Suplex COPS, the Professional showing that he himself knows a thing or two about suplexes and slams.
FOOTE: JC looks hurt, but he’s not letting that hold him back.
STING: Zane going for the Kneed to - NO! How the hell did the Bogeyman manage to catch him?!
With the knee tucked under his arm, JC slams the Professional face first into the mat with a devastating Fisherman Suplex Brainbuster, leaving both men motionless on the mat. But the Devil's District, hungry for more action, roars with anticipation, unwilling to let this epic clash end just yet.

Zane manages to get JC up, who fights back with his weakened arm, repeated elbows further swelling the already damaged eye.
STING: I think he’s looking for In Cold Blood - a fitting tribute to the Greater Evil, but JC is hanging on!
Unable to break free from JC's grip around his neck, the Professional makes a split-second decision. With surprising speed, Zane dashes forward, launching himself headfirst into the steel cage.
