DEC 11 The scene opens inside the fully lit locker room of Larry Tact. A t-shirt hangs from one of the shelves with the words ‘Tactilizing Hero’ across the front with Larry himself in a hero-esque pose. The door opens slightly, and we see the head of Ezra Wolf poke around the edge of the door. Satisfied that he doesn’t see anyone, he makes his way into the locker room and closes the door. He has on a black hoodie on with black jeans, his hands firmly in the pockets of the hoodie. Ezra paces a bit admiring the locker room.
“Looks real fancy, Larry.”
He stops pacing as he notices a large TV on the wall, similar to Alan Wallace’s room.
“I figured you could’ve used a screen like that to watch my promo for Horizons, bro. I guess not. Because why else would you sandbag it like you did. I told you, BRO. This match was for me and you. Nobody else mattered. And yet you barely showed up to the party, my dude.”
Ezra grabs the shirt and pulls it off the hanger. While he looks at the front we can see ‘…in training’ written on the back.
“Hero… well, Larry-Boy… every hero is only as good as his villain, right?”
He tosses the shirt onto the ground and steps on it.
“I fuckin’ told you that it was just you and me. Because I’d beaten everyone else in that match at one time or another, my dude. And I fuckin’ meant it. Consider this my new year resolution, bro. In 2024, I WILL pin your shoulders to the mat.”
Ezra grinds his toe into the ground, grinding the shirt as well before turning towards the door and leaving the locker room.
