The camera spasms about the GIW arena for several seconds, revealing a frenzied horde of wrestling fans, before coming to a halt at a fidgeting Daniel Hanson and grinning Nicholas Vinegar.
Vinegar: Welcome everybody, thanks for joining us here tonight! I'm Nicholas Vinegar, here with my broadcast partner, the ever energetic Daniel Hanson, and we have quite the show lined up tonight!
Hanson: Right you are, Nick. In the Global Challenge, it's Robert Garland facing Andy Savana and Sean Jensen looking to cause an upset tonight by defeating co-owner Declan Prescott!
Vinegar: He did it last week, proving that, at GIW, you can't expect anything, except everything!
Hanson: That's certainly true, Nick! But our card doesn't stop there! Big B is making his in-ring debut against the ever formidable Aesc The Dark - that match coming up in just a few moments - and then, in the main event, Chris Austin faces his destiny in a match against the deranged Great White!
Vinegar: Certainly some truly exceptional individuals on display tonight and this show has unpredictability written all over it!
Hanson: All of our shows do, Nick. I can't wait!!
A gong is heard over the speakers, silencing the announcers and sending the crowd into a frenzy.
Vinegar: I think we all know what time it is. That gong has told us all.
Hanson: Be quiet, Nick! You might distract me from his eerie entrance. There he goes!
Vinegar: We see Aesc at the very tip of the ramp. Fog has made it hard to make out just what exactly he is doing but I can say that I’m pretty sure he is just walking.
Hanson: Just walking? Just walking!? He is making his way down to the ring. He is making his way down to victory in the name of amazingness.
Vinegar: That is not even a word.
Hanson: When you describe Aesc; it is. Look at him enter the ring. Even through the fog his presence is still overwhelming. WOW! The fog just spiraled into the sky like a massive tornado leaving Aesc standing in the middle of the ring.
Vinegar: Whether I like him or not, this man is amazing in the ring. He can make any man back down out of fear for what may happen to them.
Hanson: I am glad you decided to wise up to his intimidation. I would hate for something to happen to you.
Vinegar: Are you implying that he would harm me in anyway?
Hanson: I rest my case.
“Slither” by Velvet Revolver blares over the speakers sending the crowd into an even louder roar of cheers. Aesc shows no emotion to the entrance music.
Vinegar: Here is my pick to win this match. This man is huge but rather agile and with his cousin by his side, nothing can go wrong for him.
Hanson: I suppose we could use facts to prove that these two cousins have already been successful together. Brandon won his first round match against Savage last week thanks to the kind help of Brown.
Vinegar: Great White and Joka both interfered in that match as well. Don’t go complaining that Big B got involved.
Hanson: Look at Brown struggle to get into the ring. I think they should have just had his much smaller cousin fight Aesc this week. That way this match could hurry and pass by. I am too excited to see who moves on in the tournament to crown the first Global Champion.
Vinegar: Hazel East is our referee and she demands respect. Brown and Aesc are standing tall and ready to fight.
Bell rings.
Hanson: Right away we see Aesc punching away at Brown’s over sized face. Go AESC!
Vinegar: Settle down; the match has barely began.
Hanson: I don’t care. I can not wait for Brown to take the defeat like the oversized blob he is. It should be Savage in the semi-finals, not Brown.
Vinegar: Say what you will, but Brown just countered a right hook and got a giant head butt in. Aesc wobbles back but catches his balance before falling to the ground. Brown continues with another head butt that leaves Aesc in the same situation as from before.
Hanson: Fight back AESC! Avenge your fellow wrestler, Savage.
Vinegar: Those two were never in the same ring together.
Hanson: Well…GO AESC!
Vinegar: Just like you to ignore your faults. Aesc fires back with right punch followed by a left toe to the gut, but I think he couldn’t find Brown’s gut.
Hanson: DQ! Brown doesn’t have a gut!
Vinegar: You wish. A hard head butt from Brown and Aesc falls to his knees again. I have a good feeling that this may be all for Aesc. His head has got to be hurting.
Hanson: NEVER! Aesc fights back with a kick, then a punch, and another kick. Against the ropes; and a flying lariat. Flying Lariat!
Vinegar: Alright, Tenay. Settle down. B didn’t even fall. He is still standing; just wobbling a bit. Now he is down. That kitchen sink knee to the leg brought B down hard.
Hanson: Now work on him Aesc. Some more stomps to the head ought to send him into shock or something.
Vinegar: I personally hope that no one gets hurt in this match, audience. These comments you are hearing are all from my partner.
Hanson: Audience, Vinegar is a liar. Listen to me…oh my God! Aesc just laid a big boot right across the face of Brown sending him to the outside of the ring!
Vinegar: Brandon going to check on his falling cousin. I would think that fall hurt him quite a lot. His weight seems as if it fell on his arm.
Hanson: The referee needs to hurry his count up.
Hazel: 5...
Vinegar: He is going the proper speed and that is alright with me.
Hazel: …7
Hanson: NO! Brown is sliding back into the ring. Only a few more seconds and this would have been Aesc’s. There is always next time.
Vinegar: Aesc seems to be agitated. Also, Brown’s arm is injured. I can tell from here. Aesc against the ropes and a big boot to the arm of Brown!
Hanson: Cap on it. Work his arm over some more! NOW!
Vinegar: I can’t believe he would use that weakness against Brown. What is this? An arm bar.
Hanson: Yes! Aesc is one of my all time favorite.
Vinegar: There is only 10 wrestlers in GIW. You don’t have much of an option.
Hanson: I bet you like Andy Savana. That loser will never go anywhere.
Vinegar: We will see later in the show when Savana takes on Garland in the first round of the Global Challenge.
Hanson: Aesc has that hurt arm twisted and is ascending the top turnbuckle.
Vinegar: NO! Brown counters and while Aesc was coming down; he was greeted with a clothesline.
Hanson: I think Aesc landed on his neck! DQ! I say!
Vinegar: Oh stop complaining. Brown hit’s a leg drop on that seemingly injured neck of Aesc. Followed by a dropping head butt to the back of his neck!
Hanson: Where are the medics when you need them? They come out for false injured people but when someone is legitimately injured, they refrain from showing up.
Vinegar: Brown picking up Aesc…OH NO! Low blow! Brown can barely stand. I am sure he is still sore from last week.
Hanson: YES! Now get the SATANIC CONVERSION! NO!
Vinegar: YES! Brown countered. You have to admit that Aesc tried to pull out that move on the wrong side. Brown used his good arm to elbow Aesc in the head a couple of things.
Hanson: Aesc, stand straight man!
Vinegar: Brown goes for the Triple Power bomb but Aesc countered before he could hit the first! Turn around B.
Hanson: He did and right in time for the Satanic Conversion too. This time it’s the right side.
Vinegar: B trying to escape but can’t.
Hanson: YES! HE JUST HIT IT! HE DID!
Hazel: 1...
Vinegar: 2...
Hanson: 3! Yes, Aesc is the winner here and all because he is meant to be the Global Champion of GIW!
Vinegar: I think luck of B turning the proper direction was the reason. Had B turned the other way then he would have been able to use his good arm to get out. This time, however, he was stuck using his weak arm. I could tell in his face that he tried his best to get out.
Hanson: Who cares? Aesc just proved that he is that great!
Vinegar: Brandon getting in the ring to comfort B who seems to be depressed about his loss. The crowd seems to be cheering louder and louder.
Hanson: Look at Aesc at the end of the ramp looking great. The look of a champion.
Vinegar: But not the support of a champion because the crowd is giving an applause of B’s attempt. I am personally surprised that he could finish the match after being knocked to the outside.
Hanson: I was surprised in general that he did not die.
Vinegar: Brandon and B making their way to the back to a mass amount of cheers. I hope the crowd is this hyped for the Savana vs. Garland match coming up. As well as Declan Prescott vs. Sean in the round 1 of the tournament. Great White in action against Chris Austin later on, too. What a great way to kick things off.
