Character Name: "The Talk Of The Town" Alan Fernandez
Affiliation: Face
Entrance Theme: "Plowed" by Sponge
trance: "Plowed" starts, and the arena goes black with red lights strobing all over the place in time to the opening guitar riffs. When the music cresendoes, the lights goes into a steady red all over the arena, and a light blue spotlight shines on the entrance as The Talk comes out with his Mallet Of Doom (TM) slung across his shoulders. He walks down, taking his time, looking all around the arena with an unreadable gaze. When he hits the ring, he stands on the apron staring out into the crowd. As the song crescendoes into the chorus for the first time, he raises his Mallet Of Doom (TM) with one hand and pyros blow the all around the perimeter of the ring in red, blue, and white. On the Titantron, when The Talk comes out for the first time, "The Talk Of The Town" fills the screen in huge letters, followed by clips of The Talk wrestling and laughing maniacally.
Finishers:
Primary Finisher: Human Wreckage (The F-5)
Primary Submission: Silence Is Golden (Crippler Crossface)
Primary Top Rope move: Ill Met By Starlight (Imploding Star Press [done like an inverted Shooting Star; climb to the top rope, facing into the crowd, and jump backwards while doing a 450 splash])
Moveset:
Signature moves - Panic Switch (Impact Driver); Wrong Answer (Catatonic Backbreaker); Shut Your Mouth (3/4 overhead facelock Front Russian Legsweep...think a combination Diamondcutter/Stroke); Panda Buster (Irish Whip pullback into a Flatliner)
Normal moves - snap DDT, superkick, spinning back kick off the ropes, Dragon suplex, t-bone suplex, vertical suplex, overhead belly-to-belly suplex, German suplex, Yakuza kick (both off the ropes to a standing opponent and to an opponent in the corner), roundhouse kicks, springboard missile dropkick, pendulum backbreaker
Catchphrases:
"You're talking.....WHY ARE YOU TALKING?"
"Freaks are everywhere.....freaks are nowhere. Freaks...are cool."
"This...I vow."
Biography:
Outcast. Freak. Geek. Weirdo. Has a fixation on cookies. Always carries around his Mallet Of Doom, a huge 5 foot tall titanium-graphite shaft with a granite mallethead 1 foot wide by 1 foot tall by 2 feet long (no, this is NOT a sledgehammer, and I was using the mallet before Trips was using the sledge, so there). Given to making lots of pop-culture references. Can be serious, goofy, irreverent, sarcastic, silly....depends on his mood. Revels in being a freak and an outcast. Also known as "The Innovator Of Offense", both for his unusual moveset & tendency to mix up his offense often, and his penchant for dreaming up utterly wild, crazy, often dangerous gimmick matches.
One of the original run of LWF's bigger stars for a few years. Had a classic involvement on both sides of the ring with Fear (now Phrixus Deimos, both as teammates in Freak Show Central, and in a long running blood feud. Multiple time LWF, Havok, and Tag Team champion. Rejoining LWF to prove to himself, and the world, that he's still one of the best. Currently unsure of his direction and what his goals should be.
LWF Title History and accomplishments:
2-time Federation Champion
3-time Havok Champion
Technical Champion
4-time Tag Team Champion
2002 Lord of the Ring
2002 Outlast Champion
Voted Best Character, 2002
Voted Best Face Promos, 2003
