John's knuckles and boots were covered in dry blood as he was being escorted, more like dragged, by security from the Ford Amphitheater. He just had a smirk like he didn't care though, pretty much the way his new mentality was now a-days. He wasn't without a battle scar of his own though, what with the nice shiner on his left eye just below his newly stitched up cut. They let go of him as the exit to the theater was in sight. John looked back at the guards, with a smirk on his face.
John: ”What about the other guy? He gonna get kicked out too?”
Guard: “No; he gets to stay and enjoy the show, or at least try and enjoy the show.”
John dusts of his jeans and shirts before spiting at the guard's foot and walking out the exit of the amphitheater. On the outside Sierra is standing there waiting for him, with a look of both anger and disappointment.
Sierra: ”Damn it John! Why did you have to go ahead and beat the crap out of that guy in the pit?”
John: ”Why not? It was the pit after all., you're supposed to beat the crap out of the other people in there.”
Sierra just huffs as she starts walking off towards the parking lot type area, with John following behind her. While they are walking, she even tries to explain why she is upset with him.
Sierra: ”I mean it's not the fact that you got us kicked out that, well it is that, but it is also the fact that you told me you were done with that.”
John: ”Like I said, its a mosh pit for a reason. When people by the tickets they should expect to get fucked up in there. Besides, he was talking a whole bunch of shit.”
Sierra: ”Oh really? Well, you mind telling me what type of shit the guy was saying?”
John: ”You know, the same shit that I generally hear day in and day out. How I can't hang with anyone whether it be inside of a ring or cage.”
Sierra shakes her head from left to right and raises her hands into the air as they finally reach the car.
Sierra: ”And here I thought that you had put all of that shit behind you, that you had learned to just drop it.”
John: ”Oh, that's not why I did what I did.”
Sierra: ”Really? Then why did you do that?”
John: ”Trust me you don't want to know, and I'll just leave it at that.”
They get in the car and drive away.
A couple days later, John is working on a punching bag inside of Rod's Gym. As he is laying into the bag, he hears a familiar voice call out to him.
Voice: ”Well, if it ain't the mosher himself.”
John stops wailing on the bag and smirks as he turns around to see Kyle Tacker standing in front of him. The two of them shake hands before John goes back to wailing on the bag, and the conversation continues.
John: ”Mosher? What the hell are you talking about?”
Tacker: ”Dude the video that's up on youtube right now of you kicking this guys ass in the mosh pit from Mayhem.”
John: ”Someone actually filmed that?”
Tacker: ”Yeah, according to some of the comments you were even more entertaining then Lamb of God were being.”
After John finishes a set of punches on the bag he switches places with Tacker.
John: ”Ha, well with the way things are going maybe I'll actually win Outlast now. I mean, judging by what happened on Monday and all.”
Tacker: ”Yeah, that was some weird shit. Here I figured they'd take the belt from you for sure, and have you job to Cockatoo at the same time. So, why'd you do it?”
John: ”Why'd I fuck the guy up?”
Tacker finishes with the bag as he turns to face John.
Tacker: ”Yeah, why'd you fuck him up?”
John pauses for a moment before he folded his arms across his chest.
John: ”I caught him reaching for Sierra's ass, plus I could hear him talking with his buddies about some other things.”
Tacker just nodded his head as he agreed with the reasoning and just left it at that.
John: ”Fucking rednecks.”
Tacker got a chuckle out of this as he goes back to working on the bag.
John: ”So, what's got you working so hard on that bag?”
Tacker: ”You're a captain for Outlast, aren't you?”
John: ”Yeah, what's the point?”
Tacker just smiles as he punches the bag one final time.
Tacker: ”Well, why don't you put two and two together.”
John just smirks as he and Kyle bump fist, seemingly sealing the unspoken deal.
