I've bought every single Smackdown game since the original and this one will be no different. Some have sucked and some have been awesome but I am looking forward to 2011.

There hasn't been a decent SVR since '06. Man, thinking about that, that's just sad. The WWE Universe mode sounds pretty sweet this year and hopefully it'll mean we get a decent game, where there's actually a reason to keep coming back to it.
I'll get this game at some point, but the fact its coming out around the same time as Fallout: New Vegas definitely sends it down a notch on my priority list.
Has anyone heard about that Konami wrestling game, Heroes del Ring? Good lawd that sounds hilariously bad.

But back on topic, one of the things that's got me kinda excited about SvR11 is the whole Table thing. Being able to put your opponent through a table in various ways.
And Sheamus's Celtic Cross, imagine using that and then putting Cena through a a table with that lol. Also the whole Hell in a Cell with Weapons under the ring also has me excited. But what has me the most excited is storyline like it used to be. and having Caws blend in with the actual WWE talent unlike what they used to not, as they seem to stand out to me, so them being more real looking also has me excited too.

I might be picking it up as a sort of placeholder until MVC 3 or Mortal Kombat come out, but Medal of Honor and Rock Band 3 take priority.
Gameplay looks pretty good for this entry in the series, and this WWE Universe sounds like a very good idea. The new physics engine also shows some promise with the tables breaking in various ways and ladders too now. I just hope that it holds my interest more than 2010 did, and that the trophies are somewhat challenging to achieve this time around(the only one I didn't get was the tutorial because it was just so annoying to me).

Well if it's anything like '10, it'll be another bag of anal biscuits. That game was SO bad, and it too promised so much, so I shall not hold my breath.

That. SvR 2011 seems no different, promising the world an all these fancy new additions without addresing the core problems, namely a shittingly bad storyline mode. I havn't really enjoyed a Smackdown game since HCTP, that had an awesome storyline mode which kept the game interesting longer than a week.

Finished the vs. Undertaker RTWM. Had some awesome stuff about midway through, but then they ruined it with an ending that pretty much just takes a massive sized dump over every single bit of work you did during the whole thing. Fucking atrocious.
Now I'm trying to search for stuff to download, but I keep getting told the server is too busy molesting a small child to allow me to browse stuff.
Why the fuck do I keep buying these games every year? I must be a friggin' masochist.

The Christian RTWM is worth the price of the game alone, imo. If your a fan of Old School Edge and Christian at least rent this game JUST to play through that.
As for the rest of the game, it's more enjoyable than the last one, and it's kept my interest for a week or so so far, whereas '10 made it back to the store with a couple of days.
I am a PS3 man though P, so I'm afraid you'll just have to wait for A-Kis to get the new one.
As for me I'll just clone Orton, give him some hair and a suit, and voila, instant Prescott! (Obviously with a new move set.)
