Anyone else pick it up yet? Haven't really taken it for that big of a test drive(unless we want to count the good couple of hours I pumped into the zombie modes today), maybe an hour or so online and a couple of single player missions since picking it up last night. It seems pretty good as far as the story is concerned and it looks like COD has a "sense" of balance now.

^ This.
I've never played a COD or MOH, just because they seem so cut and dry generic. Kis and I seem to have pretty similiar tastes in games, so his opinion makes me feel validated.

Travis, you have experienced what is known as a "moment of clarity". You should enjoy it while it lasts...
So I was talking to a homey who just bought a PS3 and is still mad n00bz with teh gamingz. They bought Modern Warfare as their first game and said it was good because "it tells me exactly what to do and I don't have to think. It's a good game for starters".
So yeah.

I've never played COD (although I played War For Cybertron, which is probably as close as I'll ever get). However, a friend of mine is a big COD player, and said the new game is very buggy, to the extent that it strongly discourages playing online, and overall very disappointing.

Thats the last time I share with you!
I used to be into COD and those games at the same time I was into war movies but both are rather dull looking back, its always the same basic game or movie. Theres only so many times you can point and click to shoot someone before it gets tedious.
