(The scene opens with Brandon sitting in a chair talking to himself.)
Last month I walked into a triple threat match for the Global Heavyweight Championship. The match featured me, Deathman, and Komosube. For some reason during that match, Declan Prescott and Travis Roberts decided to show up. They got involved in my match and cost me my title. I had lost the Global Heavyweight Championship again.
Throughout this month, I have tried to ignore the events of In Your Hands. I decided to take a visit back home. I got to talk to my parents and we straightened things out. I tried to talk to my old girlfriend but she left for France. After that didn’t work out, I went to look for treasure. Did I actually think we would find the treasure? Hell no. It was nice that we did. I had a reason for the whole thing though. Komosube.
I wanted to gain Komosube’s trust. I wanted to find out some of his Japanese secrets. Maybe Komosube knew what was going to happen at In Your Hands. Komo played it smart though. He spoke Japanese the whole time. I had to give him some props for that. I know he has some understanding of the English language. He didn’t want to tell me something.
I would bet a lot of money that Komosube has been working with Travis Roberts and Declan Prescott the whole time. They rigged the vote in his favor at In Your Hands. I know they did. All three of them planned this for awhile. Have me and Deathman kill each other for months. Then they can come in and steal the title after we were both exhausted after tearing each other apart. It was all apart of their great plan. Who knows though? I could be paranoid. Maybe I’m just going crazy because I don’t have my belt anymore.
That belt was my life. It separated me from everybody else in GIW. That belt made me a superstar. Without the belt, I am nothing. I’m just another long-haired wrestler with flashy moves. The belt defined who I was. I was the very best in this company before it was taken from me.
You know twice I have lost this belt. Twice I have felt the pain and suffering of knowing that you are no longer the champion. That feeling of loss eats you up inside. It drives you insane. It makes you want to go out and kill something. Would I kill something for the Global Heavyweight Championship? I know some people would. But would I? Would I stoop low enough to take another’s life just so I can win some title?
I have spent more time with that belt than anybody else. I know how the belt thinks. The belt loves to leech off of others. The belt would always tell me everything. The belt would tell me where to go and what to do. The belt also would tell me what other wrestlers she wanted to hold it. The belt named off names including Komosube. I thought the belt was lying to me but she was telling me the truth. The belt said though that she would always come back to me. The belt told me that I was the chosen one for this belt. I am and will always will be the true holder of the belt. The belt is mine. It’s not anybody else’s to keep.
Komosube is just borrowing my title for now. I’m loaning it to him. Let him have a taste of something that he will never ever have again. On Sentinel last week, I could hear the belt calling my name. The belt said that she couldn’t wait to come back to me. The belt said Komosube is a fat loser and that after EI8HT, she doesn’t ever want to be near him again. I was so excited when I heard this from the belt. I almost didn’t want to wrestle that match last week. I had to though because I wanted to impress the belt. The belt loves when you put on a good show for her. She especially loved my stretcher match against Deathman. She told me that was her favorite match. She also said that Deathman and Prescott didn’t give her the attention she deserved. Komosube probably hasn’t either. I took care of her. That’s why she chose me to be the chosen one for her.
(Big B comes out of the bathroom. He has heard everything.)
Big B: Brandon, have you gone mad? The belt doesn’t talk to you.
Brandon: Have I gone mad? Maybe I have. The belt does talk to me. It will never talk to you. The belt has seen you. The belt doesn’t like what it sees.
Big B: That’s nonsense. You’ve become obsessed with winning the Global Heavyweight Championship.
Brandon: I’m not obsessed. You’re the one who is obsessed. You are obsessed with secretly plotting my downfall. You’ve been doing that as much as you have been eating.
Big B: You need some help man. I thought you were doing good the last couple of weeks but I guess the week of the title match has set you off.
Brandon: Nothing has set me off. I’m the same guy you have always known.
Big B: Is this because your girlfriend left for France?
Brandon: No, this has nothing to do with her. I just want my fucking title back right now. The title is my one true friend. I couldn’t give a shit about anything else in this world. I only care about the title.
Big B: It’s just a title. Nobody will think differently of you if you don’t have the title. Nobody will care.
Brandon: Just a title? Are you listening to yourself? I know you have wanted to hold the title more than anybody and now you are calling it just a title. Just when I thought you couldn’t be an even bigger loser, you come up with this gem. By the way, I would care if I didn’t have the title. Me and the title were made for each other.
Big B: I’ll admit it. I still want to be Global Heavyweight Champion. I just don’t want to obsess over it like you. What you are saying, is crazy. I know it sucks to lose a title but you can’t do this to yourself every time you lose the belt. Somebody is going to get hurt with the way you are acting. I’m afraid for you well being. I don’t want you to kill yourself or something like that.
Brandon: Nobody will get hurt as long as I get my title back. You said you don’t want me to take my own life. I would never take my own life. I can’t have my belt if I’m dead. I might kill others if they get in my way.
Big B: The Brandon I know would never kill anybody. That’s not how you do business. You fight with honor. You don’t kill because killing will turn you into a monster.
Brandon: I have killed before though. I told Cornelius the story one time about the night I superkicked Kyla off of the bridge.
Big B: Yeah, you told me that story too.
Brandon: I told you both that the man who attacked us was hit by a bus and died.
Big B: Yeah, that’s what you told me. He did get hit by a bus, didn’t he?
Brandon: He did but I left out the part where I pushed him in front of the bus.
Big B: What?
Brandon: It was sort of an accident. I saw him standing there acting like nothing happened. I ran out to confront him. I told him that he would pay for what he did. The guy pushed me and I pushed him into a bus. I didn’t know the bus was coming but it doesn’t change a thing. I killed that man.
Big B: That was an accident though. It wasn’t your fault. You wouldn’t purposely kill somebody and you definitely wouldn’t kill for a belt.
Brandon: How do you know? I have killed before and I might do it again. That belt is the only thing I have left in this world that still cares about me.
Big B: Plenty of people still care about you. I care. You parents care. Kyla cares.
Brandon: If she cared, she wouldn’t have gone to France. Now, all I want is the one thing that will make me happy. That one thing is the Global Heavyweight Championship.
Big B: You just aren’t getting what I’m trying to say.
Brandon: No, you don’t get it. I asked myself if I would kill for this belt. I still don’t know but I do know that I would Superkick you.
Big B: Why would you Superkick…
(Brandon Superkicks Big B before he finishes his sentence.)
Komosube, you have something that is mine. I teamed up with you the last two weeks. I pretended to be your friend. Komosube, I’m not your friend. I’m not your ally. I’m your number one nemesis. I’m the soon to be three time Global Heavyweight Champion.
