So I know what happened on Game of Thrones Sunday has been the usual talk of shock and awe over the past couple days, but can we just forget about that (because really, it wasn't that bad) and talk about Raw for a second?
Me at the end of Raw:
Plan B? Of course Trips always has a Plan B, but what Plan B can top The Shield?
Wait a minute... Seth, what are you doing?... why are you raising that?...
NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!
And then it was just this
Followed by this
And then this
And now I'm here
I finally get what the Hulk-a-maniacs felt with the whole NWO thing

Right. There. With you.
I think I shouted "No' louder at Seth than I did the Red Wedding.
Then I was all... YES! Randy and Seth on one team!! Trips is going to have his hands full if he thinks Seth stays quiet and just obeys. He will at first, but not for too long.
Regardless, only something this momentous would over shadow the fact Batista quit!!!

It makes sense having Seth be the one because he's the guy who is always putting his body on the line with the big dives and crazy moves, and he is the one who kept the group from breaking up against the Wyatts, but everyone talks about Roman being the leader and the star.
But I wish it were Ambrose because Moxley's face offense is nothing but flailing followed by a headlock driver, he's a much better heel.
Now that we're done talking about how Seth is a fucking traitor....
Can we talk about how FINALLY Erick Rowan scored a clean pinfall victory? Over the tag team champions, no less! I would have been happy if they put Harper over, but that win was all red beard's doing. Totally deserved, and about goddamn time that dude got credit for putting on great matches against damn near everyone on the roster.

When Reigns made his "we're brothers" statement, I figured something was coming. I just assumed itd be Reigns turning.
Holy fuck at that chair when Rollins was done.

I guess the split had to happen but whatever. I just wish they didn't turn one of them but let them drift apart chasing individual stories. As is it's going to pit Rollins against Ambrose and Reigns, and end up building one or two of the three instead of all three.
As for the turn. Rollins is probably the best call because I think he'd be more likely than the other two to get lost in a split, but I think Ambrose would be a better heel and Reigns would fit the corporate monkey better.
Now the fun part is who joins the shield in facing evolution? Do they get a new member or just an ally? I've read some people suggesting that spot for Devitt, Graves, or Sami Zayn joining the main roster or bullshit like Miz, Ziggler, or Kidd under a mask. Or even Punk returning to Alex Shelley joining.
I think I'd rather none of them. Just kill the Shield now. Have Reigns turn too to be the forth man after Rollins fails to convince Ambrose and Reigns to join. Ambrose catches a beating, and disappears for a couple weeks/months. Evolution wracks up some wins then Ambrose returns in full crow sting makeup creeping in the rafters.
...Actually I kind of like the idea of Shelley coming in. I collect WWE toys so I'm not going to lie I'd like to finally have a Mattel BoolZ figure.

What? We all know Dean was going to do his own thing soon. He did it not too long ago. Roman is Hollywood worthy. Seth would go by himself or join up somewhere. Inevitable.
Now watching Randy's gorgeous boa constrictor of arms wrapped around Roman's head and just squuuueeezze.... *fans self*
I do confess that it would have been nice if Roman stood up after being stripped of his tac vest and did that roar of his.
So now the question is...now that apparently they're continuing the group, are they going to replace him?
Followed up by the question of who could they replace him with?
I BOlieve I have the answer to who could fill the combat boots.
Sami Zayn.
He's definitely ready for a call-up, very talented guy who gets good reactions and has spectacular matches. However, his gimmick of unmasked and therefore boring El Generico doesn't really warrant a slot on the main roster. He could join the Shield and give them much of the same things that Seth did, and it wouldn't really be a tragedy about losing his solo gimmick. You know, mostly because he really doesn't have a solo gimmick.
Annddd.....discuss!

The Shield is fine with Ambrose and Reigns. Yeah, I wish it was still the three of them but that ship has sailed. Seth can't just be replaced, his spot isn't a cookie cutter role someone else can fill and I'd rather just see them go on without him or eventually go their separate ways. The Shield is Ambrose, Reigns, and Rollins. No one else really fits and none of its members can be replaced.
