WrestleStock is a rather significant undertaking, being a four day event, so I'd like to get a sense now of what we have as far as writers go. Last year Rob and Chad did a tremendous amount of work for the event, far more than they should have had to, so my hope is that the rest of us can do more to shoulder the burden this year.
Day One and Day Three are of the classic WrestleStock style. For newer members, what these means is that everybody listed as a featured participant for that day may potentially leave with the title, however what will actually play out is that we will have RP scores for all those participants and the writer of the day will be given the scores and can construct a day however they wish. Not all participants are required to actually be in a match for the title. Generally, the writer for the day can construct the show however they wish, with the only constraints being there is an actual title match at some point with the proper winner, and the WrestleStock Open matches for that day occur at some point.
Day Two will have WrestleStock Open matches and end with Prison Break. These could conceivably have separate writers.
Day Four will have the WrestleStock Open final match and the World Title match. These could also have separate writers.
So who is available, interested, and willing to write for WrestleStock?

I am down to write whatever you need me to do! Just let me know and I can write a day, I can write a match. Whatever you need to take some of the work load.

Just let me get this right so there is no confusion, for Day 1 and Day 3 you bascially write a show that focuses around the Chaos and Cross Hemisphere belts respectively? The title match is the big show but the rest can be as many matches as the writer feels?

Basically, yeah. I think one of the years I wrote, I did a tournament of triple threat matches, culminating in the title match at the end. It's really all in how you want to set it up.
I would suggest going back and taking a look at Wrestlestocks from the past, just to get an idea on what various people have done over the years. If you come up with an idea and arent sure if it will work for whatever reason - or if you just want to know if youre on the right track - hit up the admins with your idea and we will provide feedback on it.
Most importantly, have fun with it. Taking an entire day is a lot of work, but getting your vision to work exactly as you see it makes it extremely worthwhile.

Oh I am loving this! If nobody wants it, I would like to take Day 3 and go a little crazy with it. Not too crazy, just some controlled crazy. But still...

The most common way is to devise a day-long tournament involving everyone eligible and possibly some wrestlers of your choice from ugwc history or even outside of ugwc (just don't have them run over the ugwc talent). At the core keep the ugwc talent competing as the main story and then build a day around it. The tournament can take any form you can imagine (we had a damn gameshow one year and it was epic). The rest of the day typically takes on a Wrestlemania Axxess feel. Interviews, fan interaction, autographs, flashbacks, games... Whatever. Usually those will revolve around the title in question that day.
Hope that helps

Definitely! So this is more than just matches, this is a day long event with wrestling matches sprinkled in between. Okay, I'm getting what is going on here. I'll definitely read some past Wrestlestocks for some inspiration and may even throw in a few other matches for shits and giggles as well.
