You know how it works: for each match say what you want the result to be, then make an actual prediction how you expect it to be.
Card is obviously subject to change, and in no particular order:
Men's BR Want: to care Predict: Ziggler. Gotta throw him a bone since you just paid him.
Women's BR Want: see Men’s BR “want” Predict: I don’t even know who all is in it, so Becky Lynch? <shrug>
Cruiserweight Title - Alexander vs Ali Want: Neville to return, and wreck both their asses Predict: Alexander
US Title - Rusev vs Roode vs Mahal vs Orton Want: Rusev to celebrate Rusev Day with a title win Predict: Orton to win after hitting 76 RKOs, and calling 23 people in attendance “stupid”
IC Title - Miz vs Rollins vs Balor Want: WWE to put some faith into Balor. Predict: Rollins (yawn)
SD Tag - Bludgeon vs Day vs Usos Want: Booty-O’s, because they’ll make sure I ain’t booty Predict: Harper and Rowen to take the straps and hold down the tag division until The Authors of Pain move up from NXT
Raw Tag - Bar vs Brains & Braun Want: there to be a twin brother, because that would rule. Or Braun to pick Slater cuz “he’s got kids!” Predict: probably someone blah like Kane or Show, and new champs crowned
SD Women's - Asuka vs Flair Want: to look at Charlotte and not see Ric Predict: Asuka to defeat Ric, err, Charlotte
Raw Women's - Jax vs Bliss Want: Bliss to wrestle in the Harley Quinn getup again Predict: Jax to squash her “bully”, and become new champ
Cena vs Taker Want: This match not to happen Predict: Taker
Olympians vs Authority Want: Jello wrestling between Rhonda and Steph Predict: Olympians, because Rousey isn’t losing her first ever wrestling match
Kami vs Bryan & McMahon Want: Bryan to turn heel and join Owens and Zayn Predict: Owens and Zayn to win after Shane absorbs more punishment than 128 normal men
World - Styles vs Nakamura Want: This match to be the Main Event Predict: best match of the night, with Styles retaining
Universal - Reigns vs Lesnar Want: This match NOt to be the ME Predict: Reigns, because no way he headlines again and DOESNT win the belt.
Other thoughts. I’ve heard Lashley might be returning to target Brock. If that is the case, I see Brock retaining and then losing to Lashley at SS (which I think is when Brocks contract expires).

2018 Hall of Fame Inductee OWF PDA Champion (1x) OWF Tag Champion (1x - w/Meyhu) 2015 Pool of Blood Co-Winner Chaos Champion (1x) Cooperative Champion (3x - 1 w/Jez; 1 w/Cyp; 1 w/Somers) 2013 "In Your Hands" Battle Royal winner 13 Title Reigns in career
Men's BR - Baron Corbin...because why the fuck not?
I don't care about this match one bit. For all I care they'll all charge each other, bang heads and fall over the top rope to the floor at the same time.
Women's BR - Sasha by eliminating Bayley.
I'd like for it to be Becky Lynch, but the bookers seem to have a problem with pushing the most popular female on Smackdown not named "Flair". (At least if you don't count Asuka). Sasha eliminates Bayley to build on their budding feud.
Cruiserweight Title - Alexander vs Ali - Ali via 054.
I have no reason for this decision, it just seems like the direction they're going in based on what little I've seen of the buildup.
US Title - Rusev vs Roode vs Mahal vs Orton - Unfortunately Mahal over Rusev via Koloss. (I want it to be Rusev).
They're hell bent on putting championships on this guy even though he's awful.
IC Title - Miz vs Rollins vs Balor - Miz via pinfall after Rollins hits the curb stomp on Balor.
Miz throws Rollins out of the ring and steals the pin.
SD Tag - Bludgeon vs Day vs Usos - Usos over New Day.
It seems obvious that it'll be the Bludgeon Brothers based on the build, but WWE does weird things like this all the time. The Bludgeon Brothers will do the glut of the dirty work on both teams, but the Uso's will get the win somehow. It'll be contrived, however it's done.
Raw Tag - Bar vs Brains & Braun - Braun and Braun win.
What better way to add to the growing mystique of the "Monster Among Men" than this?
SD Women's - Asuka vs Flair - Presumably Asuka.
I don't see them ending her "streak" to Charlotte. Or they do a stupid "Dusty Finish" and someone interferes, causing the match to get thrown out without an actual conclusion.
Raw Women's - Jax vs Bliss - Bliss via shenanigans.
Bliss wins by shenanigans to keep building sympathy for Jax.
Cena vs Taker - Cena, unless Taker ends up showing up via surprise appearance.
I don't think it'll be Taker, but if it is it'll be via a surprise appearance by Taker where he costs Cena the match. Otherwise I think Cena wins via AA after kicking out of 8,000 of his opponents big moves.
If he actually faces Taker, it'll be the American Badass version and Cena will win via AA.
Olympians vs Authority - Olympains
I know that WWE has made absurdly stupid decisions before in matches this big, but I don't think that they're stupid enough to ruin their new prized investment so soon. That would be inexcusably stupid, even for them.
Kami vs Bryan & McMahon - Sami and Kevin via DQ because Shane looses his shit.
I agree with Chad that Shane will take an epic ass kicking in this match. I think that Sami and Kevin will win because Shane loses control and goes off, leading to a DQ win for the heels.
World - Styles vs Nakamura - AJ
I don't think that WWE is ready to put the title on Nakamura yet. I think that day is coming, but I don't think he takes it off of AJ. Is there a men's MITB floating about, or was Corbin the last one? I can't remember.
Universal - Reigns vs Lesnar - Reigns.
I'm not really interested in the outcome of this match either, I just don't see Reigns losing after all of the effort they've taken in the "WWE Guy v Douchebag, Entitled Part Timer" narrative they've been running.

Men's BR
Want: Elias.
Expect: Elias.
Not gonna happen: Bray emerges from Hardy's lake as Irwin R Shyster Jnr and wins.
Women's BR
Want: Bayley, because I haven't given up on her.
Expect:Bayley or Sasha as they seem to be the only active storyline in the match.
Almost certain to happen: A spot to continue to make Naomi the Kofi of women's over the top matches.
Cruiserweight Title - Alexander vs Ali
Want: To find myself interested in 205.
Expect: Alexander.
Not gonna happen: Me watching 205 the following week.
US Title - Rusev vs Roode vs Mahal vs Orton
Want: Rusev
Expect: Rusev. I think he will be the Zack Ryder at WM32 of this show, the late entrant who gets the win based on strong reactions coming into Mania.
Almost certain to happen: Randy orton will make me angry for doing something Randy Orton-esque.
IC Title - Miz vs Rollins vs Balor
Want: The Miz. I want him to beat Honkey Tonk Man's IC title reign.
Expect: Balor.
SD Tag - Bludgeon vs Day vs Usos
Want: New Day.
Expect: Bludgeon Brothers.
Raw Tag - Bar vs Brains & Braun
Want: Neville to be the mystery partner.
Expect: Ellsworth to be partner and cost Braun the win and then be rag dolled around the ring.
SD Women's - Asuka vs Flair
Want: Flair. I've never got the big deal over Asuka, and I'm also bitter that she has got over so well on the main roster after I was sure she'd fall flat.
Expect:Asuka, because it makes sense.
Raw Women's - Jax vs Bliss
Want: Alexa.
Expect: Alexa
Furthermore: I expect Alexa to retain via shenanigans and Jax to go ballistic afterwards and destroy her, and then Carmella cashes in her MITB and takes the title.
Cena vs Taker
Want: This match to happen. It's what WrestleMania is about, spectacle and showmanship. Plus Cena deserves it having built the entire match single handidly.
Expect: American Badass Taker to show up and have his best match since he faced Punk at WM29 and to win. I don't see him losing a second time in a row, nor a second time in New Orleans. I also believes this whole Cena trying to get to Mania, and the ultimate failure to beat Taker will be the start of the long term storyline that will see him break Flairs Title Hall next year at WM35.
Wouldn't mind if: Samoa Joe returned instead and the two of them have a match of the night candidate.
Olympians vs Authority
Want: To help Steph into her entrance costume.
Expect: Rousey to start off shakey but find her groove and the match to be entertaining enough with Rousey making Steph tap out.
Kami vs Bryan & McMahon[/i]
Want: Kami.
Expect: Kami via Shane O'Mac heel turn.
World - Styles vs Nakamura
Want: Nakamura
Expect: Nakamura
Further predictions: Match will be given close to 30 minutes, will probably open the show.
Universal - Reigns vs Lesnar
Want: Reigns via heel turn and alligning with Heyman.
Expect: Reigns via Superman Punch and Spear.
Hanson: "May Roberts' soul go to a better place, free of chunky Asians, who do flips."

Cruiserweight Title - Alexander vs Ali Want: Indifferent, not in a bad way Predict: Cedric Alexander
US Title - Rusev vs Roode vs Mahal vs Orton Want: Rusev Predict: Jinder Mahal
IC Title - Miz vs Rollins vs Balor Want: Finn Balor Predict: Seth Rollins
SD Tag - Bludgeon vs Day vs Usos Want: Indifferent Predict: Bludgeon Brothers
Raw Tag - Bar vs Brains & Braun Want: BRAUN and a random member of the stage crew as his partner Predict: BRAUN
SD Women's - Asuka vs Flair Want: Asuka Predict: Asuka, pinning Carmella after she attempts the Rollins-style cash-in
Raw Women's - Jax vs Bliss Want: Bliss Predict: Nia Jax
Cena vs Taker Want: Taker to not show up Predict: Undertaker
Olympians vs Authority Want: Indifferent Predict: Angle and Rousey
Kami vs Bryan & McMahon Want: Shane to be replaced by anybody else Predict: Kami after Shane heel turn
World - Styles vs Nakamura Want: Indifferent, not in a bad way Predict: Nakamura

Also, Alister Black, Shayna Baszler, Strong/Dunne, Adam Cole, Johnny Gargano

Men's BR Want: Samoa Joe Predict: Anyone who will do absolutely nothing with it. As per the usual.
Women's BR Want: Bayley's career to be resurrected. Predict: Sasha Banks to nail in the coffin of her BFFs career.
Cruiserweight Title - Alexander vs Ali Want: Neither. Have not watched enough to have an opinion either way. Predict: To be not given enough time to do anything more than a five minute spot fest.
US Title - Rusev vs Roode vs Mahal vs Orton Want: Rusev Day! Predict: Mahal
IC Title - Miz vs Rollins vs Balor Want: Miz Predict: Seth Rollins. MEH.
SD Tag - Bludgeon vs Day vs Usos Want: Bludgeon Brothers. I am enjoying the gimmick. Predict: Bludgeon Brothers
Raw Tag - Bar vs Brains & Braun Want: Braun to get on the mic and basically say "I can win this with ANYONE in the building. Even the hotdog cart guy!" Camera pans to hotdog cart guy. It's Elsworth. Biggest pop of the night ensues. New champs. Predict: Braun and a rejuvenated Bray in his original Wyatt outfit. Also chock that up to second place on "want" list.
SD Women's - Asuka vs Flair Want: Asuka Predict: Asuka. Watch them get 5 minutes!
Raw Women's - Jax vs Bliss Want: Jax (because Kenzi will whoop my ass if I say otherwise) Predict: Bliss. Can't have both titles change hands.
Cena vs Taker Want: I love Taker. My favorite overall across the years. But I was AT the WM where he fought Wyatt and that was so hard to watch him bump and have legitimate trouble getting up. Please stay retired. Please. Predict: Undertaker in a very slow match.
Olympians vs Authority Want: Olympians Predict: Olympians. Even Vince isn't that dumb...right?
Kami vs Bryan & McMahon Want: Bryan to NOT end up like Dynamite. Predict: Bryan and Shane win clean.
World - Styles vs Nakamura Want: Them to have at least 30 minutes. The main CAN'T go more than 15, so give them the rest of the time, please. Predict: Styles. Same thing applies here. Can't have both titles changing hands.
Universal - Reigns vs Lesnar Want: Lesnar, because the dude is too old to leave wrestling, sit on the bench for the next 16 months while being clean in the most freakin' remote part of Canda to serve his suspension, and THEN train for a big fight. Predict: Reigns. Lesnar stays strong, but ultimately loses to DA BIG DOG because DA BIG DOG needs to beat everyone at WM.

So, some post-Mania and pre-RAW thoughts...
First, this Takeover is one of the best wrestling shows I think I've ever watched. The tag match was the weakest for me but had a great ending and aftermath, best Ladder match I've ever seen, incredible main event. I was at Takeover: Dallas a couple years ago and feel pretty strongly that Nakamura/Zayn is the best match I've ever seen live. I wish I had been there for this, I imagine Gargano/Ciampa would have topped it.
For Mania...
- Right pick for opener, I was least interested in the possibility of Rollins winning, but after his in-ring work the past few months you can't say he doesn't deserve it. Great opener. - Stunned that Asuka lost. I didn't think she should lose until she won the title, held it for awhile, turned heel to continue to keep it, and lost to a rising babyface. I also thought the established Asuka character should have lost her shit after she lost, but that ending needed to be used later I guess. Still a great match. - I don't understand why people are surprised and confused that Jinder won, which seems to be the consensus opinion of reviews I'm reading. Felt obvious to me the moment the match was announced. - Ronda Rousey was significantly better than I expected. I enjoyed this match a lot more than I thought I would. It was laid out very well. - Smackdown Tag: Horrified by the New Day entrance. Match was what it needed to be. - The only reason Cena got any offense at all was so Taker could sit up. When you consider how much of a dick Cena technically was during the "build" I suppose the squash was appropriate. Probably all Taker could manage. - Shane is 50, has a hernia and diverticulitis, yet he is Super Shane. Happy for Daniel Bryan, glad this is over with. Curious where Kevin and Sami go from here. Do they show up on RAW (why would Kurt hire them?) or does either Shane or Bryan decide to put things aside and just bring them back? This has the Shane/Taker feel of ultimately meaningless stipulation. - As much as I enjoy Bliss, and she did some great character work during this match, Nia should have won in a squash. - Styles/Nakamura was underwhelming, but perhaps that is because there is obviously more to come. Maybe Nakamura will be more motivated as a heel. I guess Styles isn't going to RAW anytime soon, as had been rumored. - I kind of liked the BRAUN/Nicholas pairing when I thought he was a Make-a-Wish kid. Now that we know it's just John Cone's son, I can't help but wonder if they tried to get a big surprise partner and just did this when it didn't pan out. - The main event was fascinating to watch, crowd reaction reminded me of Lesnar/Goldberg from WMXX. The F5 has been the most protected move in WWE for the last several years, NO ONE has kicked out during this championship run, Reigns kicks out of five and nobody in the crowd gave a shit. There was NO reaction, beyond a smattering of boos. If this doesn't get management's attention that it is time to shift gears, nothing will. Wondering if they just want Lesnar to beat Punk's reign, expecting Lesnar to drop the title at either The Greatest Royal Rumble or Backlash to Bobby Lashley.
Predicting NXT Call-ups this week for Almas, AoP, Iconic Duo, a return for Samoa Joe, and a successful cash-in on Smackdown for Carmella.

My post-Mania thoughts...
Men's Battle Royal: Woken Wyatt? Yaaaaasssssss. I like it.
CW Match: Had no interest, so ran to the store. Heard it was decent, but WWE is never going to give those guys the time in the ring to tell a proper story. Shame, because theyre all talented.
Women's Battle Royal: Literally the only time I have ever cared about Bailey is when she attempted to fuck Banks over. And then they had to ruin it with Naomi. Blah.
IC Title Match: Probably my favorite match of the night. Thought with only three weeks left before he broke Pedro Morales' record, that Miz would retain. Didnt happen, and Rollins is a Grand Slam Champion. Good for him, he deserves it. And he hasn't hurt anyone lately, so that's a plus.
SDL Women's Title: Honestly was surprised that Flair went over. Not that she isn't a great wrestler, she is. And if anyone was going to break the streak, it should have been her, at Mania. No issues with that. My only issue is the fact that Asuka tapped. Within five to eight seconds of it being applied. Really? Meh.
US Title Match: Holy shit at how over Rusev is. So of course not only does he not win the match, but he's the one that takes the pin. Payoff better be a Mahal/Rusev match down the road somewhere.
Mixed Tag: Rousey looked a hell of a lot better than a lot of people thought she would, and this match was a helluva lot more entertaining than it honestly had any right to be. Credit all four of them for telling an engaging story, and wrestling a decent match. Even if Steph somehow learned how to block legit MMA holds (*eyeroll*).
SDL Tag Title: tND and tUso's both should have carried squashes to the ring, because that shit was short and sweet.
Taker/Cena: Didnt want this match to happen, so I'm glad it was all of 3 minutes. Also, Elias generates monster fucking heat. Put him in a feud, please, ffs.
SDL Tag: Still think it would have been awesome to turn Bryan heel, and have him align himself with Owens and Zayn. So how long before Kami appears on Raw?
Raw Women's Title: I love Bliss, but this match should have been a squash to really push Jax as the monster she should be.
WWE Title Match: I like the heel turn. I didnt think the match even came close to the expectation. Kind of a letdown in that regard.
Raw Tag Titles: They just shit all over the tag division. Fucking joke.
Universal Title: Expected Lesnar to be gone. Apparently he isn't. And I get trying to build sympathy for a guy you so yearn to have cheered, but that most despise... but having him go all Superman mode and kick out of 5154491611 F5's is NOT going to earn him any more fans. <facepalm>
2018 Hall of Fame Inductee OWF PDA Champion (1x) OWF Tag Champion (1x - w/Meyhu) 2015 Pool of Blood Co-Winner Chaos Champion (1x) Cooperative Champion (3x - 1 w/Jez; 1 w/Cyp; 1 w/Somers) 2013 "In Your Hands" Battle Royal winner 13 Title Reigns in career
Men's Battle Royale: Matt winning the Men's BR and Bray becoming "Woken". I like how they did that and I hope they get this pairing right.
Cruiserweight Title Match: I enjoyed this match and while I think that it could have gone a little longer, Alexander and Ali did a fantastic job. I hope they build on it, because 205 Live and the Cruiserweight Division deserve far better than they've gotten.
SD Women's Title Match: The match was very good, if not excellent. Those two have incredible chemistry together and some of the sequences were absolutely brilliant.
US Title Match* I enjoyed the match itself and as Chad said, Rusev is ridiculously over. I thought that they did a good job in the match, even though I felt that it should gotten another five to eight minutes.
* See "Thumbs Down".
Mixed Tag: It took a while to get going, but once it did they told an outstanding story that ended as it should have. Rhonda Rousey was outstanding in it. She looked like and old hand in the ring and her responses and reactions to what happened in the match were perfect. I loved how she sold getting bounced off of the ring post towards the end of the match. I know that seems like a small thing, but she did it perfectly. Everyone in this match deserves a standing ovation for it, because it was great.
Taker/Cena: It's always fun to see Taker and he looked good. That said, I agree with Chad that I'm glad it was mercifully short.
Elias Heat. Forget "X-Pac Heat". Elias heat blows it out of the water and he's a master at eliciting it. As Chad said, they really need to do something meaningful with him. Stop wasting him.
Bryan's return: Yes. I enjoyed this. I thought that he did a good job. I'm a Daniel Bryan fan and WWE would be smart to pick up as close to where they left off as they can, because he's still the most over person on the roster and it doesn't seem like #2 is even close.
"Kami": These two are pure gold and I think that Kevin could dethrone Miz as the best heel in WWE. He's an absolutely exceptional villain. Sami has thrived as his gleefully malicious sidekick. His heel turn has done wonders for him.
Jax winning the Raw Women's Title: This was the right ending. I agree with Chad that the match itself wasn't lopsided enough.
Alexa: I think that Bliss is a great wrestler and a fantastic villain. One of my favorite things about Bliss are her facial expressions. She emotes better than almost everyone on either roster and her "oh shit" expression is one of the greatest I've ever seen in wrestling. Even if she was only a mediocre wrestler (and she's far better than "mediocre"), her use of expressions and body language would get her over and keep her over.
Nakamura's Heel turn: Brilliant and perfect. This was absolutely the right decision.
The Bar: They're great. Even in a match where they had no reason to care, they still did it justice.
Braun:The guy is gold. Period.
Overall I enjoyed it. There were some parts that I definitely did't like (which I'll get to later), but as a sum total I thought they did a really good job with the show.
