In the ring he tends to fight clean. He enjoys the crowds attention and cheers but tries his best not to be overly distracted by them, tries being the operative word.
Out of the ring he is generally quiet. He does his share of interviews and promos but doesn't go over the top in either. He tries to show due respect to his opponents before and after matches but will easily lose his temper if not shown the same in return or if he feels his honour has been tarnished.

Brief History: Alex is second generation Japanese. He was born and raised in San Francisco where his parents moved years before his birth. Growing up his father always tried to instill many traditional Japanese values in him, such as honour and respect. It is also from his father that he started to learn martial arts.
Alex would often spend his summers in Japan with relatives. It was on one of these trips that he first gained an interest in professional wrestling.
In his mid teens Alex started to learn to wrestle alongside his karate training. He started learning in gyms along the west coast and later learning in the wrestling dojo's of his homeland over more of his summers. From the age of 18 he started working the indy circuit up and down the California coast and after a couple more years, working further in land and even occasionally wrestling in Mexico.
This assorted career led to the development of his fairly unorthadox wrestling style. A style that has led to a fair share of success and if nothing else has helped him to get noticed despite his generally mild mannered nature.
Alex retired from UGWC following Wrestlestock 2012. He was inducted into the UGWC Hall of Fame in the class of 2015. He has returned to UGWC in 2020 as part of the company's 10th Anniversary celebrations.
