Clerks, fuck yeah! If we're going there, how about Dogma? I didn't much care for Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back, though. It was like the nWo Monday Nitro, they're better off stealing the show than having it from the very begining.

Yeah .Gran Torino is a kick ass movie,
As far as Kevin Smith Films go, I think Mallrats will always be my favourite movie, Jason Lee does tend to carry the film, but boy what a job he does.
Interesting bit of Trivia about Dogma, which I also love, is that Matt Damon's part was originally written for Jason lee, but scheduling conflicts meant he could only be Azeriel, or whatever the fallen angels name is as he only had a small window to film. Personally I watched it back once I found that out, imageining Jason Lee delivering the lines, and seriously Dogma was good, but it could have been SO much better had schedules not clashed.
Some of you may have known this (It's prob on IMDB), but it adds a whole other dimension of enjoyment to the film for me

Anything Mel Brooks and/or Kevin Smith, favorites being "Men in Tights" (Gotta agree with Ad) and "Clerks 2." I laughed until I cried when I saw that.
Other favorites: Labyrinth Dark Crystal Nightmare Before Christmas Sweeney Todd Repo! The Genetic Opera Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy Death at a Funeral Dead Alive (THE zombie movie of all time) Boondock Saints (the cat scene... OMG classic) Gone With the Wind Godfather Casino Hellraiser
I love almost all horror movies... unless they're shit like Saw or Hostel, nothing but gore porn with shitty stories. Freddy Krueger is king. Jason blows. The end.

Yes, Ad/ Dirge is a big Ed Norton fan. The man is a brilliant actor...Fight Club and Kingdom of Heaven (he was the Leper King) will always come to mind...as does American History X (what an intense story). The cop movie he did with Collin Farrel was really good too. (Although the name escapes me at the moment).
Dogma was a great movie, even if it had that scrotal irritant Alanis Morrisette in it. "Clerks 2" will always be my favorite Kevin Smith movie...so many of those lines have become a personal joke between a friend of mine at work and I, especially "It's ok ! I'm takin it back !!" and "What if he gets all sex nuts and retard strong ?!"
If you're talking foreign films I like "The Professional" (originally French I think...funny that they got it right)
I would have said "Solaris" (Anton Tartakovsky) for foreign films...but the movie is a 3 1/2 hour nap for me. I love the book, the movie bores the shit out of me. The George Clooney remake was tolerable. I still need to see "The Seven Samurai"...
I also love John Carpenter's "Vampires"...it's a terrible schlockfest, but I so enjoy it. James Woods rules.

My all time favourite movies of all time are the Matrix Trilogy. Yes, I said trilogy, I enjoyed the sequals.
Behind that the Lord of the Rings trilogy was great. The Transformers movies, Sin City, V for Vendetta, Shoot 'em up.
If we're looking at foreign stuff then most of Jet Li's un-american stuff like Hero, Fearless or even Twin Warriors. Tony Jaa is a legend too so Ong Bak and Warrior Kind ( aka Tong Yon Goon).
